I was experimenting with using the Visual Composer elements in a post last night and noted that the Text with Title element seemed to have a bug where the paragraph spacing between the first and second paragraph is different to that between any additional paragraphs.
I’ve attached an image here to better explain the issue: http://imgur.com/GEGOj7E
Note that ‘shift+enter’ has not been used here and that the spacing between the first two paragraphs should be the same as that of the second and third.
I’ve checked this on a Page and it works perfectly but for some reason it doesn’t work with Posts. I’m guessing it may be a CSS thing or perhaps it’s a VC issue? Can you advise?
Regards,
CD
@ykdm
did you download the latest theme update with the fix?
It’s not OK for you to blame TagDiv for not updating your theme sooner. They can’t update your site for you, only you can install theme updates.
I think they know it’s a huge issue, hence why they rushed out some fixes/solutions!
[ Version 6.6.4 ]
– fix: homepage pagination issue with wordpress 4.4.1
[ Version 6.6.3 ]
– new: visual composer was updated to the latest version 4.9
– new: revolution slider was updated to the latest version 5.1.5
– fix: modified structured data to comply with Google’s new requirements
Also note the sticky post at top of the support forum with more info?
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wordpress-4-4-1-pagination-new-fix/
Also note several known bugs with WP 4.4.1 and there will be a 4.4.2 version very soon.
Hi every one!
On Google Analytics, I find more traffic redirect to http://www.traffic2cash.xyz ??? via link /?from=http://www.traffic2cash.xyz/.
I don’t know this site 🙁
My website is use theme Newspaper 6 and have 3 plugin (WPBakery Visual Composer, Yoast SEO, Ninja Forms)
Please help me, what is problem, and what is reason?
Hi I have recently updated the theme to version 2.3.5 and visual composer to 4.9 that was included with the updated theme. However when I edit post with visual composer elements, the elements do not load up with any visual composer settings, i.e the ‘general’ tab is empty. for some elements like images, I can switch the tab from ‘general’ to ‘design options’ and will trigger the general section to show up. but it won’t work for all elements and won’t work for text blocks.
see image below

See dozens of posts in the forum using forum search, e.g.,
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/h1-why-it-is-not-found/
OR _ FOR FUTURE SEARCHES:
a) create a row on home page at bottom (or top) of your content with visual composer; –or– simply use text box widget in custom sidebar for home page
b) put your code, and text — e.g.,
<h1 class="homeyh1">My Wonderful site about pizza and cats - pizzacats, all cats eating pizza</h1>
c) in the custom css box in theme panel make your class for the font size/etc you want
.homeyh1{font-size:20px;color#CCC}
Boom there you go!
If none of that makes sense, consider hiring somebody to manage your site.
Hi, I can’t edit the template blocks on pages and the settings for your theme aren’t appearing on the visual composer elements list. Please help ASAP as my site is currently down while I resolve! Thanks.
ok now I am very pissed,.
Things are not working as they should.
I cannot choose any templates in the updated Visual Composer.

Please help, I can send you a login.

baldvin
Actually, the front page changed after I registered Newspaper 6, pls see
The texts on the site’s front page are the same that now, strangely, appear in Visual Composer’s “Backend Editor” mode!
Note that I also updated Visual Editor as instructed.
latest articles page navigation does not work https://www.infinitelabs.com/ when you click the 2 page or any page of the latest articles it just reloads the homepage ?
ive turned of all the plugins except visual composer and it still does it
Hi
I am not sure why this happens but you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. If the problem persist please provide your site url so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks!
Hello,
It seems the unique id was removed from the theme in the meantime. (Sorry about that)
You can try an alternative method. In visual composer you can assign an extra class on the row so you can use it in css and simply use display none on that particular class.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I disable all plugins except visual composer but the problem still exists
Hello,
Please make sure you have every option checked in screen options: http://screencast.com/t/tDGu0cDvG especially page attributes. If the options are all checked please try to disable all plugins except visual composer to rule out a plugin conflict.
Thank you!
Hello nmichieletto,
Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come with our theme and test it again. It seems to be conflicting plugins. Please let us know how it goes after this advice.
Thank you for the message!
Sorry man, but you aren’t referring to the same place.
Now follow me, OK?
Login to WordPress admin area, on the left side of the panel, there is a place called Visual Composer.
Now take your cursor there and you will see a section called Grid Builder…
These grids are different from your theme’s grid blocks or other sliders.
They are used to customize VC related Post Grids, Media Grids, Post Masonry Grids or others post related structures.
Are we on the same page now?
Hi
1. Try this css in theme panel > custom code custom css: http://screencast.com/t/LWo79pKINwG
.td-header-sp-logo img{
padding-right: 24px;
margin-right: 45px;
}
2. From what I can see in your screen there is an additional distance added on top of trending now block. I am not sure why that distance appear but can be a margin or a padding set by a plugin. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hi
I’ve checked your site an ipad and the indicated image it’s displayed fine on my side: http://screencast.com/t/dDqyLMF8 I am not sure why it doesn’t appear fin on your side but could be a cache issue so try to empty your ipad cache memory and test again. Also you can try to deactivate all plugins except visual Composer, just to make sure that this is not caused by some plugin.
Thanks!
Hello madeyoulookstudio,
I have checked your screencast and I saw what’s the problem. It seems to be an issue might be caused by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. Also, please check your custom modification if you have some changes for this kind of block wich could cause this layout damage.
Let us know how it goes and if you need more assistance after you have followed my solution, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect the issue.
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
The new version of WP is compatible with the new version of our theme: 6.6.4 but i do not think this will fix your issue. Please try your website with a default wp theme like twentysixteen. If the issue is still there we will know it is caused by WP and it will need to be reinstalled. Also please leave just the visual composer plugin active. Disable all other ones to rule out plugin conflicts.
Let us know how it goes and if the problem still persists then please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic.
Thank you!

Hi
If you don’t have featured images for your post then you can use blocks 9 and 10 from Visual Composer to display your posts: http://screencast.com/t/bdrhoiAZBaq They will be displayed like this o pages: http://screencast.com/t/QHkRCbMYa Also you can use module 8 and 9 which have the same layout: http://screencast.com/t/0ooLyp0z
Let me know how it goes and if this is not what you mean please provide more details.
Thanks!
Hi Catalin,
Sorry, I needed to be more specific I guess.
I was talking about changing fonts at Grid Builder for Visual Composer!
Please check Grid Builder section for visual composer and you will see that you can build your own grids for use on website. You can customise colours, fonts, sizes etc.
There is an option to use Google fonts but although I change them, they aren’t reflected at site.
I am using visual composer at other sites as well and I never see this issue elsewhere.
Can you check it please?
Best
Hello arpita,
I have checked your website and I saw that you have a problem with your sidebar. It seems to be an error that might be caused by the conflicting plugins. Try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. It is necessary follow these steps because you should rule out the plugins in conflict. Please try this solution and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi
This issue could be caused by the widgets tile. You need to use just standard letters on the titles. Any other symbol such as !, @, #, $, or – , _ or language specific characters, will cause the sidebar and the widget area to remove widgets and sidebars.
Try to deactivate all plugins again, leave just Visual Composer, empty all caches and test again.You also can try to make a new local install on your computer, with the latest version of WordPress, the current version of the theme available on themeforest, V 2.3.4, and Visual Composer plugin, then check if the problem is still there.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello gunner05,
Please notice that the CSS are working only for the padding-bottom. As I said you above, you cannot change the left-right paddings-margins because these settings are preset by default by the Visual Composer and if you want to change these option, you will risk spoiling the layout.
http://screencast.com/t/OZcLCFGb7NXd -> http://screencast.com/t/J3wNyfx3ytBy
Please ensure you have the ultimate version of the child theme and otherwise please update it with the one that come with our theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
