The tagDiv Composer doesn’t work, it may be because you may have the latest version of WordPress and an older version of the Newspaper theme (the latest version is 10.3.9.1).
The compatibility with WP v5.6 was provided only with Newspaper v10.3.9

That effect seems to be from an option from cloud header, please edit it with tagDiv Composer and disable this option https://i.imgur.com/mDBQaKx.png after that the problem should be solved.

You can create those pages using tagDiv Composer, but for some of content you need to use some extra plugins. For example for covid data you can use the elements we provide -> https://i.imgur.com/LccQwxT.png for the rest of elements you can use extra plugins and set the shortcodes in column text text area https://i.imgur.com/6wAqp95.png

You should be able to edit a cloud/PRO template with TagDiv Composer plugin.
The issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.

Let’s try to discuss each of the issue/questions one at a time if possible. A link to the website would have been helpful with some of them.

1. Regarding the theme activation with the key, that issue can happen sometimes. Usually it is temporary, and trying at a later time works. Or you could try the manual activation instead https://www.screencast.com/t/EL4k48Lq
If there still is a problem activating the theme with the key, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website, admin login, also the key. We will check.

2/3 Regarding the mobile display issue, did you maybe activate the optional mobile theme plugin? This is the guide https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/ Most of the live demos do not use the mobile theme. The mobile theme will help with the mobile performance however, if you wish to increase it. Test with and without it, there should be a noticeable difference.

4. In category pages it depends. Ascending or descending in terms of what exactly? Do you mean by publish date? You can edit the category template with the composer, click on the grid or the post loop from the template, and check the available sorting option. For example they can be set to display posts by publish date, oldest first https://prnt.sc/10a77hk By default they are latest first.

The blog is a page, set in that menu.

1. There are indeed a few demo ads, simple images, in the theme demos. But they can be removed and replaced after installing the demo. If demo ads are still displayed, that means you did not actually removed them from where they are set.

For the header, you are using a cloud header https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/ Please edit for example the homepage with the composer, click on the header ad and remove the demo ad https://prnt.sc/10a6oe3
Then configure the ad box to display the header ad, if you entered a code in the theme panel header ad section https://prnt.sc/10a6pvj

2. How can I help with this exactly, screenshots to what? In the theme you can enter the ad codes or set the ads, and the theme will load them, that would be all there is to it. I don’t quite understand what you would like me to help with. If you have more questions about the method of displaying ads using the theme, or there are issues, with that I will try to help. Mention the details and I will take a look.

The sticky option from the composer is for entire columns, not for parts of the column, like a specific block, ad box etc. So basically the entire column can be made sticky, but not just the ad box from it.
You could maybe split the template content in 2 rows https://prnt.sc/10a43e7 And enter the ad box in the second row, that way you can make the right column of that row sticky. That should work.

Some examples, screenshots, or a link to your website where you are working would be very helpful, to see how you created the copy so far. Are you building a page or a template to resemble the page from the website?

That does look similar to this PRO demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_la_mode/ I believe our design team used it for inspiration. That website does not use our theme if that is what you mean.

Content from the demo that resembles that website, is available in the cloud library https://prnt.sc/10a3gv2 meaning the homepage, and the templates.

I believe that page you mention from the website is a category page, although that website is not using WordPress. So I can’t exactly say how the website is doing it, or what exactly is that page.

Numbered pagination is available for loop elements. If you are using a loop element in the page, and set the numbered pagination for it, that should work fine, if there are enough posts. If the second page when using the pagination is empty, then I could take a look at it. Provide a link to where the loop is used, if possible.

For that menu there https://prnt.sc/10a3tcz you could use a menu element from the composer, and set it to display a menu you have created in WordPress.

“The current content hasn’t been created by tagDiv Composer” – that notice isn’t the result of actual issues in most cases, that just notice that the last time that page/cloud template was not saved using tagDiv Composer. If you can successfully edit the page or could template then there is no problem, despite the message.
