Also note with mod_pagespeed, generally there needs to be a custom line added to the pagespeed.conf file pointing to your static folder, such as /site/wp-content/uploads/ or where your images are, to let mod_pagespeed load https static files via /server/path/ vs via http/https.
If your host isn’t running mod_pagespeed, that is non issue.
Based on your page source it does not appear mod_pagespeed is installed or running for your content.

For few of my website author, the author name are clickable ( displays the Facebook profile written under the author profile) ( check this screenshot: https://snag.gy/HeOAd7.jpg ) but most of the authors, it shows simple Name with no hyperlinked Facebook profile even when those authors have facebook profile added in their user user profile.
Why does it happen? How can I make it work for all my authors? I am using this theme with Yoast SEO and there is no other plugin installed which has anything to do with social profiles.
Please help if you can understand my issue.

Hi,
A theme demo once installed will grab the style of that demo. That means specific colors and a few layout changes specific for each demo. On every demo you can edit exactly the same settings as the theme panel provides. I;m not sure what you men by edit the demo though there are things you can and things you cannot do. For one, you cannot replicate the look of one demo on another one which is a popular request we get. It’s either a full demo or not at all. You cannot only have parts of it and combine different parts of multiple demos.

The cdn has nothing to do with it. Simply install wp super cache and edit it’s files according to the link i posted above. A cdn is a different matter and not related to the mobile theme issue and wp super cache

Hi,
By fresh install we mean to create a sub-domain and install an unmodified version of wordpress and an unmodified version of the theme. No plugins just the default state. It will be a new install on the same domain, well sub-domain but the same hosting. This will rule out any custom code, plugin conflict or any other trace of external interference. It will be just the theme and the hosting. No extra influence. If the problem is still there on the sub-domain, there then there is definitely something hosting related, either file permissions, setup, or the admin ajax issue Alin mentioned as the login does not redirect on our end at all. So it;s clearly something local, related to your case in particular. Please create this sub-domain because i’m afraid Angels do not exist in the real world, not ones that can fix your site for you anyway :)) We do our best to help out but we have our limitations unfortunately.

Yes we already had conversations through email ( and that’s why I mentioned that TagDiv has already tried) but I have already tried each and everything except fresh installation.)
But then what does it mean by the fresh installation. This is already a new theme and has been freshly installed 2 weeks back and I am facing this issue since the new theme installation.
I have tried installing default theme or previous theme and all works totally fine because there is no Ajax based login on any other theme. And as far mydomain.com/wp-admin login is concerned , it’s working very fine.
So, either there is some conflicting code in ajax login.php or it’s getting some redirection command from somewhere ( means by any old unused deleted plugin codes). Though I have already repaired, optimized my database and have deleted old Wordfence plugin related files and many other files using grabage collector plugin.
In the very first solution to this issue , TagDiv support has told me to check with Hosting provider because they noticed ( see this image that the theme canât access admin-ajax.php . When ajax pagination is used the theme makes many requests at this file and server security module may treat it as a thread and it will be banned.
I asked about this my hosting provider, they replied that they can’t see any issue from server side and-and A 403 error is normally linked to how you have file permissions setup and the theme might have changed a few permission while activating.
Can you please check if any such 403 errors are still coming? Where should I look for file permission? then I also tried following method suggested under many threads to stop redirection:
One possible solution, I found to the similar problem is this:
Go into PhpMyAdmin to your WordPress database
Find the table named wp_usermeta
Find the rows titled session_token
Delete the value associated with it
(Mind you the value is huge and your browser might freak out. I did it by clicking âeditâ for that record first, then toggling the null value for the field on and off, selecting the empty field and pressing delete a couple of times to make sure, and then hit save)
But it didn’t work either. I am not sure if it’s the theme issue or not , but it happens only with this theme and only when using Ajax login. Can you tell me where will I find this Ajax login.php file to see if there are any redirection option?
Can’t we stop this redirection by writing some code? I have also changed/renew the SALT security codes under WPconfig.php but nothing worked till now.
I am just waiting for one angel who can look and rectify this issue.

As I read in the forum you cannot recommend a Rss widget because you didnÂŽt test any for the templates,but for a newspaper it is very important to have a Rss feed.
I have installed two different rss widgets and put them in the widget zone without any result, they donÂŽt appear in the website.
suddenly it has started to appear the video links in the category “conferences” and two days ago it looked perfect.
I have tried to correct them , i really donÂŽt know what to correct because i donÂŽt know whta was modified, but still showing the links in the homepage.

You should also update the plugins after you install the new version of the theme so you can go ahead and delete the plugins from the wp plugins section. hit deactivate then delete: http://screencast.com/t/g9mOxxPDtx
As for the theme update. simply delete the newspaper folder. and then copy over the new one. it’s safer than renaming it. Delete the old and upload the new.

Wordpress says: The TagDiv Mobile Theme is not supported by the current activated theme. Please update your theme!

You could try to create a testing platform for such errors. Create a sub-domain and a fresh install of wp and the theme and test there to see if the error is still present. We have not encountered such issue before so i assume it’s some sort of a redirect issue. Try to restore the theme to it;s default code after you make a back-up of course and remove any modifications made to the theme and disable all plugins.

Update: I see my colegue already replied via email and provided a few suggestions. please follow them and create a fresh install as I also suggested. And then try to remove modifications afetr backing up to get the theme as close to default as possible.

Thank you for your reply. I am currently learning, hence please bear with me. I think we are talking about the same thing here. Newspaper: Plugins: it says that all other premium plugins are active besides Slider Revolution (it says ” Optional”). WP Plugins: Installed Plugins: it seems that Slider Revolution is activated. Hence, the confusion.

I am facing this small yet irritating issue since I installed Newspaper theme. This is related to Newspaper’s ajax based Login option. I created a thread around 9 days back to seek for help . Amazing Tagdiv team tried to solve it by giving many suggestions but none of them work.

Do any of you have experienced this issue. There is no issue in loggin but after login, once I try to visit Backend WordPress dashboard or edit user profile. It redirects to a login page again. I mean it asks for reauhorisation:

The latest version of the theme is Newspaper 7.3 and the latest version of the plugins are 4.1 for Social Counter and 4.12 for Visual Composer and not 4.6… please update your Visual Composer! Also, please notice that all of these updates should have to be made via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Note that the Speed Booster plugin disable itself when an incompatible plugin itâs installed. We added this measure to avoid conflicts with the plugins that wonât allow to move their CSS/js resources at page bottom. the best way to upgrade wordpress newspaper 4.5,1 and 6.7.2 , completely erase and newspaper wordpress , install the new version 4.6 and newpaper 7 and import old db ?
Installed Hero Maps plugin, which lets you view pins on Google Maps. But the Newspaper showed an error code asking to check the JavaScript console. ???
I understand new clean install is the best. But problem is my 1600+ post. If i install new clean site > restore from old database => problem is still!
How can i got a clean new install and keep my old post?
