Also please re-upload your theme files and make sure you do it like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/

Using Themeforest on my Mac locally while developping (site not online yet). Everything works fine, except the visual composer does not work (a main reason for my purchase of this theme), the button actually doesn’t appear as it should. Without this button, I can not do anything to compose easily my homepage. I am now struggling and waisting too much time without this functionality. Reading previous posts, I’ve tried de/reinstall WPBakery, etc, but nothing works. Strange because my configuration is relativelly standard (Safari, last version of WP and Themeforest…). I activated the VC function (both in my profile and with API key).
Could you please help urgently ?

Logged in subscribers do indeed have access to the Jetpack menu. That will allow them to connect to their WordPress.com account and enable the Toolbar notifications.
Rest assured, they won’t be able to change your Jetpack settings from there.
If you really want to hide the Jetpack menu from non-admins on your site, you can install this small plugin: http://i.wpne.ws/MBdD

I successfully installed the theme and everything was working fine untill yesterday. I have done all the customization and now our site is live.
But, today i see that sidebar is not working at all. I mean, What ever updates or changes i do to the sidebar widget, nothing is getting reflected on the website. It is stuck with the same sidebar settings. I believe this started happening after i installed W3TOTAL cache plugin. I have deleted this plugin now and still not able to use the sidebar.
Can you please look into this issue as soon as possible, since our site is live we don’t want to take any risk and fix it asap.

Like @TheMediumUTM suggested you should try to install the version of Visual Composer which comes with theme files, also please make sure you disable all CDN plugins and empty cache, we had experimenting slider issues when using CDN.

I saw this behaviour once, not with this slider or theme, but with another slider plugin on a different theme. I switched themes, not plugins, and it worked again, oddly enough…
Only one suggestion occurs to a layman like me: Ensure that when you update the theme, you also install the version of WPBakery Visual Composer included with it. If it’s not that, I’m not sure what it is.
@Christopher The plugin is brilliant. It worked with the same plugins installed and the same theme on my localhost. It looked good on the localhost. But for some weird reason, it isn’t working on the live website…?
But if it’s added to the banned list how does ajax work if I am logged in?
I have ithemes security installed. Is it the culprit? I deleted the plugin but no luck!

I’ve installed the speed booster plugin and noticed a huge speed improvement. Like you advised, i add the 4 .js files in the exceptions.
To not break any slide are the menu on mobile please add these files in the
Exceptions (files to ignore and load in render-blocking way) box to the bottomjquery.min.js
external.min.js
site.min.js
js_composer_front.js
The problem is that there are some problems:
1. The header menu is not sticky and the pull down columns are to small
2. There are no header image visible at theme 4 (other templates are ok)
Did i miss a file to exclude?

I have installed a carousel slider by Themepunch (they also make Slider Revolution) on my homepage.
I would like to remove the top padding so it looks better. I placed the following css in the Visual Composer CSS editor (just for that page), however it did not work.

Hello again, There was no error until two days ago and even I did not do anything like changing some lines or installing plugin. But somehow the ajax post count does not works now. I can see it working while I’m logged in but when I’m not, I’ve no luck.

The “tag cloud” widget comes with WordPress, you can try to control the tag number and other options like this:
First install this plugin which allows you to add php code into an text widget: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/php-text-widget
Then go to http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_tag_cloud and get this code:

Installed the theme (in classic blog version) and love it but have a few questions:
a) Is it possible to make the header logo centred on the page
b) I have installed Shortn.It (http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/shortnit) and have set it up but is there a way of when clicking the twitter or Facebook at the bottom of the page to show the shortened url. At the moment it shows as (using the demo as an example) Asus Xonar U7 sound card has a built-in Headphone Amp http://seeasa.com/?p=53 via @seeasa (is there a way of changing it to show my custom url and make it Asus Xonar U7 sound card has a built-in Headphone Amp http://see.je/abcde via @seeasa. Also clicking on Facebook it only gives the blog logo and address and no information on the story being shared.
c) In the demo classic blog layout demo when you click an article it shows before and next but can’t find there that is in the theme settings to activate
d) How do I give different categories different colours?

Good job you are doing there but seriously, i wouldn’t recommend to install these untested, unknown plugins.
I once did it and after some months i had to note that many visitors had problems with the rendering etc, even though i couldn’t simulate that problem.
Even caching plugins can make a lot of problems, there can’t be any ‘perfect settings’ because it depends on many factors, may it even be your web hoster.
Be careful guys with these system-interfering plugins đ

Since i’ve installed the Newspaper theme i noticed that the server was a bit slower. I’ll checked the server logs and noticed many 404 error lines pointing to the file
/wp-adminâ/admin-ajax.php
Every minute there are about 10 errors. (depents on visitors online)
First I deactivated ALL the plugins and checked the logs again, the 404 errors are still there. After that I activated my old theme and the errors are gone.
Which part of the theme may call /wp-adminâ/admin-ajax.php and generates this 404 errors?
