Hello,

Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please make sure you have enabled the mobile cache if the plugin has this option

I hope this helps.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please let me know what prebuilt website you have installed.
You can change the logo like in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
If you install a Pro Prebuilt Website the changes from the Theme Panel will not apply, (only some settings) for example, to change the color on block/post you can edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://prnt.sc/10grx77, select the block/post and in Style, you can change the color => https://www.screencast.com/t/sUE7ug4UIAR5 also, after you can copy the style and paste it -> https://i.imgur.com/WCHxXlr.png

Also, the settings from the theme panel are saved? if not, then please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-panel-settings-are-not-being-saved/ and try the suggestions.

Thank you!

Hello,

I am experiencing a problem with the theme panel. I have read all the posts on that subject carefully, but unfortunately, my issue doesn’t fit any solution. The theme and demo content is a fresh install (not upgrade) to the Worpdress. Can I provide you with the credentials to WordPress so you can take a look?

Hi, I purchased and installed the Newspaper 11.5.1 template and uploaded the Gadgets layout. The problem is that no changes made in the template editing will take effect: I uploaded a new logo, translated the element texts, set other colors. However, no changes will be reflected on the front end.
I also have the WP super cache plugin installed.
Can you help me, please?
Thanks Petr

Theme: Newpaper 11
Website: https://historyboat.life/wpdev/
Problem: The articles I am publisihing as blogs, need to be in categories, with child category blogs appearing within the blocks for each news category. I have had the theme professionally installed, but I am having problems making the stories match the news/blog categories.
To illustrate, here is the Motor Charter page, having been clicked from the Home page headline menu https://historyboat.life/wpdev/category/motor/ the stories are not the Motor and Motor child blogs that I want, but content from Sailing Charter blogs.
I have tried going into Menu and changing, but although I use the dropdown, and use the page id, it does not change to the blog category I want.
This problem is also dispalyed on the Home page, where the blocks are meant to be linked to the appropriate news blogs.
I cannot find documentation to rectify this problem, and I cannot get the menu changes to work.
I need some help to get this to work as it should.
Thanks

I was facing the same error recently. It turns out the tag div composer is not working on your website.
Simply go to cpanel in your hosting and delete the plugin- tag div composer. Next, do a fresh install either from the theme panel or directly through file manager.
Activate the plugin and it should work just fine.

Hi Anamaria, I’ve experienced this issue with the Mega Menu as well. I’ve just installed 11.5.1, cleared the cache, etc, changed my menus back to what I want, but unfortunately I see the problem still exists – the filtering doesn’t apply as it should. Thanks, Martin

Hello,

I think loosing visits and views after deinstalling AMP seems quite normal.

AMP pages are made for speed. Google prefers AMP versions of a website and ranks then much higher than others. Google even caches some of the content to deliver it fast to the visitors.

By disabling AMP your website will not be listed as high as the AMP version, especially if there are many competing websites with the same topic.

A normal mobile version or responsive website can’t be compared with AMP.

Hello,

Please try to deactivate, delete and reinstall the tagDiv Composer, and after the mega menu should work well.

Thank you!

Hello,

@trebol30
, if you have a problem with column text we are working on a fix, if you have problems with the mega menu, after the update to WordPress version 6.0 then please reinstall the tagDiv Composer plugin.

Thank you!

Hello,

Yes, you can import what template you want, it doesn’t matter if you have another imported template.
You can duplicate a template, or install a new one and assign on the posts you like or create one from scratch by importing a blank template and build it as you like.
Check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/ ; Here is explained how to duplicate a header template correctly and do some changes for single post template

Thank you!

Hello,

You can use a different template on every article if you use a cloud template. You can duplicate a template, or install a new one and assign on the posts you like or create one from scratch by importing a blank template and build it as you like.

Hi!

I have EXACTLY (!) the same issue as you can read here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-plugin-and-tagdiv-mobile-theme-plugin-conflict/

A few weeks ago I had both plugins (AMP and MobileTheme) installed and both displayed perfectly in my WordPress backend. Because I was very unhappy with the design options of “AMP” and “Mobile Theme”, I deactivated and deleted these plugins again.

But now I’m again very unhappy with the page speed, which is why I installed and activated both plugins again.

Now I have the same problem as the user “vanisticz” from the above topic: The AMP plugin is displayed perfectly in my WordPress backend (as long as the mobile theme plugin is disabled). As soon as the Mobile Theme Plugin is ACTIVATED, the AMP Plugin disappears in my WordPress backend.

It won´t help you to fix this problem but my website is: https://www.motivationsheld.de/

I believe that you need access to my backend and CPanel?

Please let me know!

Thank you!

Hi,
I am getting problems with the Tagdiv Composer plugin. Recently my website was showing 504 error as shown in the image below. So when I renamed the file of this plugin from the file manager of my server then the site became normal as shown in the image below. SO I thought that it would be a problem with this version of the plugin so I updated this plugin from the Newspaper Theme manager. But still, after the updated version is installed my website was again down and was showing 504 error.

Now, what should I do?
Please reply asap…

504 error

An issue has been encountered while trying to validate your license key

I am getting this error after installing and registering the Newspaper theme product, I have tried resetting key, I have emailed contact@tagdiv.com but haven’t received a response yet, I have looked over some solutions in the forum i.e. making sure the site URL and WordPress URL are the same which they are.

Can someone please help me as I can’t move forward with my project until this is resolved?

Thanks

Hello!

You should install the demo without content, so in this case your content won’t be changed.
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Documentation here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Just an update.

I have tried these steps:

1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)

but it does not help.

I have the same problem every time i update Newspaper. After upgrading i have to reinstall the Newspaper plugins and then i must go to the plugins page to activate them.

I thought it was the normal behavior of the upgrade, but apparently it should all be automatic, strange

After the update to wordpress 6.0 in the menu, all items with mega menu show the same sub-categories. In fact, they present all the categories and sub-categories of the site.
https://recordeuropa.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/mega-menu-with-sub-categories.jpg

We have two identical sites (one in staging) where the same thing happens.

In the Appearance > Menu options, the option ‘Make this category mega menu’ no longer appears.
https://recordeuropa.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/menu-item-no-drop-down.png

Which appears here under ‘To create a MegaMenu with Sub-categories:’
https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/

We’ve already deactivated all plugins – it doesn’t work.
We’ve already uninstalled all tagDiv plugins and re-installed – it doesn’t work.
FYI Our hosting is wordpress.com
