You are probably uploading the whole theme package. You have to upload only the theme zip file, not the whole package which contains other items

Seems the problem was that i removed the buy now button. I re installed the theme and i got them back.
Still, how can i remove the buy now without losing the icons? And, in future if the icons are missing again, how can i get them back without reinstalling the theme, since you can’t do this once the site goes live.

I have selected to install one of the pre-built themes. The theme does not display well (gaps between blocks appear to be missing/misaligned.
Any assistance/advise would be most appreciated! (I have tried other pre-built themes and they all appear to be ‘off’ a little.

Hi, I have a problem with the menu and search box in the mobile version of my website.
As you can see, when you click on the menu it doesn’t appear. And the search box does not appear either. I have installed the latest update of the template and I see that in other websites with this same template this problem does not happen. Can you help me? Thanks

This info may be useful for some readers, but I just uploaded the Newspaper theme zip via the WP admin panel, and it asked whether to replace the old files. I clicked OK. It was installed over the old version of the theme and everything is working well now.

Here is a video of my problem. I cannot see or activate the tools to edit the image the I embed in the text in bloc editor mode. I can resize, but the left right centre alignment tools and wrap text tool buttons do not show up…I just installed the theme update.

Indeed that is an old theme version and the update need to be done via FTP/cPanel.
What I can suggest is first to make a full backup for your website and database and after that to update the theme (also, you can try first on staging or subdomain).
The theme should be updated via FTP, by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case that there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost. After that install the theme plugin tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Standard Pack and the rest of the theme plugins if you using (social counter, newsletter).

I disabled all plugins except the tagdiv ones and reinstalled the Cloud Library. The problem still exists.
So how exactly can I find out, which of the Single Template’s value exactly causes this problem? I don’t see any value named “undefined”.

Please re-install the tagdiv Cloud Library. Edit an article with the TagDiv Composer and check if you have any wrong value in the Tagdiv Composer’s settings called “undefined”. If you have them please delete them.
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue or something that can interfere in our theme, please check: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

If you do not have the Mobile Theme plugin installed and no mobile pages assigned for your desktop template, then the responsive version will automatically apply on your website which can be customized how I explained above at option 1.
If the design differ radically, then please make sure it is not a cache issue.

I already did all the troubleshooting with this before I messaged. Including removing plugins.

The only thing that actually fixed this was by turning on opcache in cpanel php manger and then installing an opcache specific plugin. Which I should not have had to do

I have setup a test staging site before cutting over to live.
I have a problem. The desktop version and mobile version are both showing different headers. I don’t have the mobile plugins installed so my sites should be showing the same version.
Can someone please advise on this

The theme can be activated on a testing domain, there will be no problem doing so. According to Envato license terms, the theme license can be used on a single final product (website)

So a testing environment or local private install will not be a violation of the terms.

Why can’t I get my site looking with the same header on mobile? It is showing as the standard covid logo for some reason. I dont have mobile pages installed
I currently have a live site, which I want to rebuild with Newspaper.
While my current site is still live I want to install this theme on a sub-domain, build it and then swap it over so there is no downtime.
am I able to activate and deactivate the license?

Ive used the tag div composer in the past on multiple sites, this would be the first one on wordpress.com though.

The theme and required plugins seem to be installed correctly, but something seems to be blocking my access to the tag div composer.
I dont have mobile plugin installed. But still site shows standard header on mobile.
I am having so many issues
Two different versions of site.
Admin bar keeps going missing all the time and now I cannot get it back at all. Admin bar is turned on and also forced with CSS

Since the problem is on localhost there is no way that we can check it. But I suggest that first to make a test using the last the version 11.4.2. In case that the problem is still persisting, then contact us via email contact@tagdiv.com and We’ll provide an old theme version.
Make sure that you have a clean install and there are no extra plugins.

Calin, I didn’t expect such a quick response! 😉 I have already reset and am reinstalling all over again….the problem could have been the use of iframe tags inside the code of some articles or the automatic google adsense code that created me instability … thank you very much
