In the last setup step, I am getting the error message: The requested theme newspaper could not be installed. Theme API call failed.

Hi, what i mean is…i cant edit the theme’s colors easily via tagdiv. I have to do so individually but it appears i can be able to edit via the theme panel also. However, when i try to do so, the changes do not reflect. Additionally, when i edit using tagDIV, changes reflect much later. Its not real time. I’ve uninstalled every unsupported plugin. I need a clarification on this.

When the mobile version or amp is displaying on desktop is a cache problem, we recommend to use WP Super Cache with the settings from our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also if you are using other cache plugins please deactivate theme and make a test.

For a proper update we recommend you to completely remove tagDiv plugins and Newspaper Theme and reinstall them via WordPress.
The update button is available from 10.3.2

Please uninstall and delete tagDiv Composer and install it again from Newspaper > plugins, set the apy key clear all cache and check again.

I have one question, is planned in future releases add more languages into theme? out of box.
My question is on language “Czech Language”
If not, because you not know people what can speak czech, I can help with this, for free.
More preinstalled languages is better for you, for TagDiv team, you can reach more customers.
And for me too, because people from Czech Republic mostly prefer themes, what include the native language.

Hi, we have the Newsmag theme installed on several domains at different hostings. In one of our web pages something very strange happens, every day the plugins Tagdiv composer and Tagdiv social counter deactivate themselves.
We have very few plugins installed in the page and they are all reliable….yoast, tinymce, wordfence, with none of these installations we have problems in the other pages and hostings where we have installed Newsmag.
Can someone give us some idea of what could be happening so that only these two plugins are deactivated every day?

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps, please increase php version.
Also make sure that the theme has been installed as in our guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-install-newspaper-theme/ and make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme, cache plugin or CDN, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Hello there,
Our website https://www.citoyens.news/ was setup few days ago but we noticed that at times the website turned to mobile version when accessing through desktop and hence the layout looked messed up. Screenshot below:
Note: The plugin WP Super Cache is already installed.
I cleared the cache too but the problem occurred again.

To be honest, I had cleared many times cache, uninstalled wp super cache, try to reset the settings of the cache, nothing better.

I just installed the Newspaper a couple of days ago, today I was setting up single post page with a downloaded template.
And found a few bugs:
– In WordPress New Post page, the editor (write content area) shrank to a very narrow size (I don’t know how to link the screenshot here, sorry)
– Few standard WP format functions failed to display properly at frontend:
1. Drop cap failed to show
2. Gallery view
(The setting in the post was 2 columns in 1 row, but frontend is failed to display as according as the setting, description area is also messed up)
3. multiple columns
(The setting was 2 columns with 50/50, frontend only displaying 1 column)
These are all WP standard functions;
The above errors only show when using Newspaper theme, when switched back to my previous theme all are back to normal.

If you are using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.

Hi,
This problem appears when you install the theme on a site that already has content. The theme comes with it’s own thumbnails to minimize the page size and increase the page loading speed. To fix the problem, you need to regenerate the thumbs -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
If the problem persists, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
The tagDiv Cloud Library plugin is only in Newspaper theme, Newsmag them do no have this plugin.

When I click on, Edit with TD Composer, it says “This page isn’t working”
I have checked the plugin and it is properly installed and has been activated. What should I do?
i have purchased newspaper theme today from themefores and but after installing theme and tagdiv cloud library plugins my server get crashed everytime when disable this plugin via ftp then site is working fine but when enable cpuy load entry process and RAM usage goes to 90% of my dedicated hosting.
so i decided to disable that plugins after install newspaper pro demo and now my site is not showing logo and menu.
how to do? because i have already set all thing in theme panel option.
another problem is header code and footer code like google analytics is also not working while i have pasted in theme option.

I want to know if I need to uninstall the demo after installing it or if I can work on it
This theme leaves all its codes and script behind after uninstalling. So if we write a post with TagDiv and in the future, we decided to change to another theme. Then it will leave codes in our Posts too? Or posts will be broken? Also, tell how to reinstall cleanly this theme.
