It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the plugins to be deleted too ? If you are certain that you have installed the updates correctly by deleting all of the older versions and made a clean install from scratch please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. If the problem is still there, please delete the theme and the theme plugins via FTP and reinstall theme again.

Please ensure that you are using the plugin version which is tested with the theme and which come bundled with it. (WP Bakery 6.0.2) This plugin is tested and should work as expected. Sure. All of your content is still there. The theme does not affect posts. If you are using plugins just make sure to not get in conflict with our theme. De-activate all plugins, install the theme, install and update theme plugins and then you can activate the others one by one to make sure that your install is properly made. This is is not working anymore because you make update to WordPress to the last version, you need to downgrade the WordPress version.

Also you can make update to the theme, but notice that will be a big differance from Newspaper v6.6.5 to Newspaper v9.7.3, I suggest you to make a full backup to your website and try the update on localhost or on subdomain.
