Hello,
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Sorry but we do not have installation service to provide.
Thank you!
In a blog post I wish to have an image which, on a mouse click displays a larger version of the image. All standard stuff so far. The issue is that when I click on the smaller image an error appears in the modal image viewer instead of the larger image. The error is ‘The image #1 could not be loaded’, however if I click the ‘>’ (next image) arrow it loads the correct image at the correct size.
I have tried the following:
I have followed the tutorial about using Modal Image to the letter with Modal Image switched on and off on the specific image settings.
I have also tried with General Modal Image switched on and off in the theme settings.
This is a recent installation (Saturday) of the latest version of WordPress and I am only running the theme plugins.
The image that is supposed to load on click is the same image that is displayed smaller in the post. The URL for the image was populated automatically when I selected Media File and is correct.
With any combination of the two Modal Image options I get the same result ‘The image #1 could not be loaded’. It seems as though the theme is trying to load another image before the one that I specified but it can’t be found.
During the weekend I searched the forum for this error and it seems that a number of users are experiencing it. So far I haven’t been able to find one that includes a solution. Being able to add an image that can be enlarged within a page or post seems to be one of the most primary requirements of any theme so I am hoping someone will be able to help me with a solution.
Many thanks.
Hello thebootguy,
Please ensure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ensure that you are using only our tested plugins because if you are using some untested plugins, these might interact with the theme core files and causes some unknown issues. Try to remove all of them, clear all the caches and check the results. For more information about a correct using of our page builder, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Features page is not loaded when I install demo. What should I do.Thanks
Hi,
Only if you install a demo with content, will the layout be pulled as well. You cannot get the layout if you do not install the demo content.
Here is the layout you are looking for: https://pastebin.com/3Gk2VFLK
Copy the code onto your page in the tiny mce editor in text mode: https://www.screencast.com/t/zyYUYLl5
Thanks.
Hi,
That is an unusual problem. Maybe you have a plugin conflict on some level, that caused it to disappear. Or maybe you have security plugin that is blocking this option. Try disabling all your plugins except the ones provided in the theme package, and clear any caching installed. Then check to see if the editor option is displayed.
Thanks
Hello,
Did you receive any errors when installing or uninstalling the theme demos? A demo can be installed with or without content. If you need the dummy data please select the option to install it with content: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Thanks/
Hi,
The Export/Import feature affects only the options in the theme panel. It is useful when you are moving your website for example, then you simply copy the code from the respective section and import the settings on the new install. Or for periodic backups maybe.
There is no setting or option in the theme to export or import data from the database

Thanks
Hello,
Please use this guide to properly install your theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
If you encounter problems please post the error you are getting here.
Thanks
i cant find the TD composer full options, for an example i only can see up to 7/8 blocks…i cant see any social media links under css option (according to your 3 min tutorials)
is there any service for a complete installation with my desired page or set up?this theme is driving me crazy…
thanks in advance.
I installed Instagram at the bottom of my home page, now I would like to edit it or remove it but it seems to be impossible. How do I go about it?
Hello,
the TD Composer button is not show on my page, only the “live CSS” button. I have installed all plugins for the theme. Do you now what is the problem?
Thank you for your reply. I ended up doing a fresh install of WordPress then newspaper then plugins and then importing the content from a backup. Thanks again though. I appreciate it.
Please consider adding integration with the popular Recaptcha plugins or added to core files for future Newspaper updates. This would be huge for your customers and future customers! Due to brute force attacks, Recaptcha is a must-have. The login/register popup is beautifully done, I would love to use it, but the only hang up is the must-have Recaptcha.
One of most annoying things about WordPress is that even popular plugins like Theme My Login or AJAX Login don’t have Recaptcha for both login and register. Have spent hours searching the internet for plugins that do this and haven’t found many, sans installing a bunch of stuff I don’t need – just need the Recaptcha + register/login. It would be a huge selling point for Newspaper theme to add Recaptcha integration.
Greetings team,
I have an unexpected problem with some pages. It appears that the theme blocks have disappeared. I will upload some screenshots:
As you can see, there is only text: https://prnt.sc/ftbgox
You can see here that the theme blocks are missing: https://prnt.sc/ftbgox
Any idea how can I correct this. I did not installed any new plugins and I currently use some basic well known and tested plugins, nothing fancy.
Please check the home page: https://revistacosmos.com
Thanks!
Thanks Chris! I can’t believe you get 90+ without some kind cache plugin, and with Newspaper theme?
I am trying to work through this theme, It seems to be a resource hog itself. I even installed the so-called Speed booster from tagDiv, all I get is that messages that all my other plugins are bad.
I am going to try and replicate my site on another server and see if that helps.
The mobile responsive theme is not loading correctly. The content is lined properly on the phone. But the entire screen can be swiped away and you look at a blank background. The content doesn’t sit centered on the screen. Also, the header stretched in and out. http://imgur.com/5rA5p5t
There is no banner ad installed on mobile so I’m not sure what the issue is.
My header banner and right rail ads are loading under the bottom of the home page and all home pages. I have them installed by embedding the ad code directly into the ad section of the theme. How can I fix the placement issue? http://imgur.com/tWm3EEb
Good ideas for basic security:
a) do not use admin as the superuser login name; always make second name; don’t use the superuser admin name to build pages as it reveals that ‘user’ to hackers;
>> ‘superuser’ for site admin
>> ‘othername’ for content building as admin; not superuser level
b) use plugins like ‘limit login attempts’ – a fantastic free plugin to thwart repeat password guessing, and also shows repeat IPs so you know *where* some kinds of WordPress attacks coming from
c) disable xmlrpc – known attack vector; disable editing of WP files from the WP admin; this is done via functions.php or custom plugin
d) force https – all WP sites should be running https now. SSL certs are now free with ‘Let’s Encrypt’ – so your host should be supporting that!
e) force strong passwords (not ‘bunny72’ but ‘8g932vygSD97j$’); disable password reset functions
f) remove all old-unused plugins, themes no longer used – nulled code can still be used by hackers
g) scan site regularly with securi free site scanner
h) make sure using good host running modern versions of bind, mysql, php, etc. — make sure running php 5.6 and up as older versions are ‘end of life’
i) make sure running WP 4.8 and up (all versions of WP prior to 4.7 make have major security flaws; with over 100,000 sites hacked in 2017 due to running OLD versions!)
j) make sure web host running IPtables and automatic Ip blocking for hack attempts; this stops server side IP hacking attempts — all good hosts are running something like this (we do here)
k) fully implement suggestions from the WordPress documentation (always good to learn to use WP by reading the manual …. I know! Crazy, right?): https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress
l) make regular backups (ironically, I am doing that ‘right now’ on my machine while having first cup of coffee …); this means doing MySQL full dbase backups from your hosting panel; not just the ‘export’ option in WP (which doesn’t always do a good restore job on import). The full dbase backup at hosting level, allows you to ‘go back’ to clean version of site if you get content injection hack
After hack; change all passwords (hosting, FTP, and WP); delete WP, all plugins, themes, check for malicious code in htaccess, random weird php files; reinstall everything for clean copies.
Hope that helps.
If you have a high-profit website, you should also consider paying for a PCI-DSS scanner to check your site monthly, as this reveals vulnerabilities in your hosting, server, and your site (e.g., SecurityMetrics, etc.).
Hi,
I just bought the Newspaper theme. Was very impressed with all the demos and training etc. So I switched to Newspaper, activated it in WordPress. Then I realised that all my posts were gone because BeTheme’s Muffin Builder and Visual Composer aren’t even slightly compatible. No problem, I have backups, I can rebuild the posts.
So I install a demo from the list and am impressed with the interface and start modelling the front page of the site using the extremely easy drag and drop. I didn’t change any settings or add any code..
Now my site won’t load.. I would include a screen shot but it is just a completely blank page in Firefox and in Edge I get ‘HTTP 500 error, That’s odd… the website can’t display this page’. I haven’t tried chrome or anything else but I am guessing the story will be the same.
Can anyone help please?

I’ve just installed the Newspaper template and I need to disable Popular Posts and Popular Category widgets. How do I do that on http://wife.mihaimoga.com/? Thank you!
install wordfence pulgin and scan for backdoor or php shell src
Upgraded from 7.4 to 8.
Tried out two of the demos, but what am i missing? I watched the video, read the docs, but all it changed (visually at least) was colours, menus and fonts. how do i get the actual page layouts complete with all the blocks used in the demo? No additional pages have been created and it hasn’t applied any of that layout to my own pages, just made them corrupt and look ridiculous.
Uninstalling hasn’t worked at all well, it is all over the shop and even after a few hours tweaking it still looks like an amateurish development of a freeby theme.
I’ve had to put it in maintenance mode so hoping for some quick answers.
