Hi,
For me the layout looks like this https://i.imgur.com/7xkzwvD.png do you want to remove this space https://i.imgur.com/XvlsDmk.png ? for this you must use this custom css:
.td_block_big_grid_mob_1 {
top: -19px;
}
This code must be set in the theme panel > mobile theme > custom code> css -> https://i.imgur.com/iUnWZED.png
I hope this will help you!
Hello @BLAY!
Please deactivate the Mobile theme plugin. Make sure you assigned correctly the mobile pages to your desktop pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Delete the cache and try again.
Thank you!
Dear support team,
There is a white blank space between the menu and content (first post grid) on the Newspaper mobile theme amp home page (justicemirror.com/?amp=1).
As a result, the first post grid just below the menu bar appears so thin (in width) that it does not look visually appealing. Kindly help me resolve this issue at your earliest convenience.
thanks
hey @Calin, sorry I don’t understand exactly what you’re saying here. I currently have a header set up in cloud templates which is then assigned as global header through Theme panel > Header. the above issues are occurring in the tagdiv editor for the header when accessed through the cloud templates admin page, and the phone viewport is selected to edit the mobile view.
Hi!,
I would like to know why when I access my website with a mobile I have the mobile theme presentation or AMP instead of mobiles pages I created for each page of my website. For each mobile page, the mobile theme page grid is disable and amp plugin is also disable . So what to do to obtain the mobile pages I created in all circumstances ?
Hi.
This is my issue. The responsive version is not applyingg in this manner. A default header plane basic version is shown with the default logos ect. Caching issues have been ruled out. The theme is dropping back to default images on mobile when no mobile pages or plugins are chosen to be used.
Hello @mgiannelis!
If you do not have the Mobile Theme plugin installed and no mobile pages assigned for your desktop template, then the responsive version will automatically apply on your website which can be customized how I explained above at option 1.
If the design differ radically, then please make sure it is not a cache issue.
Thank you!
Hello @mgiannelis!
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi,
I see that you have the mobile theme plugin and this is disable on homepage.
Do you want to use the mobile theme plugin, the responsive version or the mobile page template?
If is the mobile theme plugin, then you need to have this plugin enable and to make sure that the mobile theme is not disable on posts/pages -> https://i.imgur.com/99d1c2n.png
If you want to use the responsive version or the mobile page template, then the mobile theme plugin need to be disabled, or it can be only disable on the post/page where you’ll like to be display the responsive/mobile page template.
Thank you!
Hi mgiannelis, please try to not reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.
Our theme do not interfere with the admin bar, so I think that something else it is causing that problem.
About the mobile header, this is a different menu from desktop, but it can be adjusted using tagDiv Composer.
For example if you are using the responsive version, edit the homepage and set the mobile view port -> https://i.imgur.com/jdvm7qK.png
If you are using the mobile page template, then you can edit it from here -> https://prnt.sc/AkFGijSVZV10
I hope this will help you!
Hi,
So you’ll like to have the mobile theme set, but instead it is display the responsive version. For this all you need to do is to have the mobile theme plugin enabled and amp (if you want to use the amp), in case that you are using cache plugin you need to make sure that the mobile support is enabled (the cache for mobile version).
Another thing that you need to do is to make sure that you didn’t disable the mobile theme from page/post, so if a page looks like responsive version, click to edit it and check the mobile theme options -> https://i.imgur.com/T0kyeMi.png
I hope this will help you!

Hi,
I thin that the best solution for the moment will be to use a custom css
.td-menu-mob-open-menu .td-menu-background, .td-search-opened .td-search-background {
opacity: 0.5;
}
Please set this code in the theme panel > mobile theme > custom code> css.
I hope this will help!

Hello,
Since my problem is not resolved yet with the two-click punishment I have some questions to you. I use In-article responsive ad sizes on my article posts (single post theme) and I insert them on the Ad placement from the single post content Ads option.
I copy+paste the code that Adsense gives me for the In-article responsive ad without doing any changes. My problem is that the ad is expand use the full-width on the mobile page, like here: https://i.imgur.com/6z06cLF.png
I spoke with somebody and he told be this could be also a problem, and I should resolve this with the theme (some setting with the div).
Basically I want to set to show like here (these to examples are my friend website, he pasted the adsense code on his site and appeared like this:
https://i.imgur.com/HVM0jbZ.png
https://i.imgur.com/Wuoipra.png
Also in the Adsense example shows this example, with the margin between the ad and the site margin:
https://i.imgur.com/VgTuNSX.jpg
How can I set this on my site/theme? Is there any option? I use the Single Post Template 2.
Thanks.
Hi @Calin,
As discussed with @bettina this has no effect on the transparency and only adjusts the gradient. It’s been set on the theme panel > mobile theme > theme colours at 0.1 but still the menus display without transparency while the gradient seems to change fine.
Is there a separate option make the menus transparent? At the moment, they are NOT transparent as they should be.
Thanks!
Hi,
To change the font size or other for these elements you need to use a Custom Code CSS ->
.td-post-sub-title{
font-size: 25px;
}
.td-crumb-container .entry-crumbs
{
font-size: 25px;
}
.logged-in-as
{
font-size: 15px;
}
.form-submit .submit
{
font-size: 25px;
}
The code needs to be set in the theme panel > mobile theme > custom code> css.
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
For amp it is used the mobile theme plugin, so the settings need to be done in the theme panel > mobile theme > https://i.imgur.com/z7ejjum.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
I just checked the situation and it looks that it is only on desktop and for some blocks, o mobile for me everything seems to be ok.
Can you make a test and set a new block to see if this is working. Also, you can make a test using only the tagDiv plugins (and in case that you are using a child theme or some custom css, then please remove them and try again).
Let us know the results!
Thank you!

Hello I want to know why I can’t see the beautiful website style in my mobile browser and I just see the AMP very basic and don’t works perfectly.
What I need to do to get the website like mobile style and not the ugly AMP theme?
Hello!
Regarding to the CPU usage issue and DB queries, we are trying to find a solution as soon as possible.
The Standard Pack plugin can be uninstalled if you do not use default templates. We recommend to use cloud templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Documentation here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Check also our video tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/c/tagdivThemes/videos
If you mean page speed, then you need to take into account:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update, so we’re gladly recommend the latest update of the theme.
If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.
Other starting points to improve your website page speed are here:

Please check the tutorials from those platforms gt metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Thank you for understanding!
Hi @Bettina,
This is how it was set, and previously was functioning fine. It appears the mobile theme is using the colour settings from “Mobile theme -> Theme colors -> Mobile menu” as one of the colours was altered a while ago, which is displaying as specified.
The transparency/gradient was already set as default which had never been altered before or after the transparency broke, and was around .6-.7? I’ve since reduced that to .5 in both instances as you suggested, cleared cache, but it’s made no difference.

Hello @sekhar!
Access the category pages from your website and click on the green button “Edit with the TagDiv Composer“.
This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If the problem occurs, then make sure you haven’t extra non-tagdiv plugins which are not tested with our theme and re-install the Mobile theme plugin.

Hello @FrasL!
If you use the Mobile Theme + AMP, then you should set the transparency from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme -> Theme colors -> Mobile menu -> Gradient color: https://prnt.sc/5KQ0rT0Va7l4
Otherwise, you can set the transparency from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Theme colors -> Mobile Menu/ Mobile Search -> BACKGROUND GRADIENT COLOR.
Thank you!
