Hi,

With tagDiv Composer, you can add the element Single Post Modified Date in Single Post Template, and you can change the additional text in “Last updated on” => https://www.screencast.com/t/EvfUQMfzkd, and the Single Post Modified Date will show you the last time you edited that post => https://www.screencast.com/t/j74uz43paZj
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/single-post-shortcodes/
You can duplicate the single post template, add the modified date, and assign a template only when you modify the posts to show the modified date.

Thank you!

Hi,

You need to go to the Manager(Website manager) -> header https://i.imgur.com/64qe9Wj.png to enable sticky header -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-website-manager/

Hello,

You need to go in the theme panel -> theme colors and try to change this color https://i.imgur.com/SzTpjhZ.png
Did you add the block from composer?
The social icons can be edited with tagdiv Composer to change the color.
The prebuilt website you installed needs to be edited d with tagdiv Composer, because the settings from theme panel are for the standard template https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.

Thank you!

Hi,

Site url: https://www.saksanseisojakerho.fi.

Latest wp 6.5.3 and latest newspaper theme 12.6.6. I tried to disable and enable plugins I have. Found at least that filebird is causing some loading err but disabling it thus clearing the error did not make a difference. Page loads but is just white page. Site is working just find but editing with tagdiv composer is not. Site also uses latest woocommerce.

Here is the image of the browser after trying to load:

Hello,

If is used the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, then you’ll need to edit those file
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/loop.php

Unfortunately with the code to add your custom taxonomy I can not help, if is about a css for style, this is ok, we can do it, but custom code and changes in the theme files with custom code is a bit over what our support can offer, sorry!
As a hint, this is the code that I saw as example in some articles – https://pastebin.com/DLvm1Gir

I hope this will help you!

Hello Sam!

Sure. Edit it normally (without TagDiv Composer) and copy-paste the code generated by our builder into a new page on another install: https://prnt.sc/OLnB8_5i3v0d

Hi there,

I’ve got a few sites using the Newspaper theme (all with their own license!) and I wondered if it was possible to export a template made using TagDiv composer from one site and then import it to use on another website, with a separate install of Newspaper?

I know you can export/import settings – but can you export/import templates too? It’d be a really useful feature to have a consistent look across a family of websites…

Cheers,

Sam

Hello,

Please let me know what prebuilt website you have installed. Maybe you need to edit with tagdiv Composer, scroll until the about us section and select the element and change the text.
You need to set the post id in the filter tab to have a post sticky all the time on that block -> https://i.imgur.com/3uVxMOD.png

Thank you!

Hi,
If your mobile layout is not the responsive version, then it is used the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin. To have the responsive version, the one that can be seen in tagDiv Composer, it will be need to disable the tagDiv mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!

There are instructions on here, somewhere, on how to scrub your database, which you need to do before reinstalling the latest theme *and* the latest td-composer plugin. There was a defect in some code used by *many* themes and plugins in the wild that allowed an injection. However, you need to clean that out of the dbase before anything else.

Once cleaned, consider installing WordFence, at the very least; and do security hardening in htaccess file to disable access to common WP files hackers try to attack. Disable XLMRPC, etc.

See this topic for Newspaper theme — note, this is only for the common wp-zexit hack, not any other issue you have from insecure or nulled third party plugins:

https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/wp-zexit-malware-and-newspaper-theme-problem-please-see/

(I don’t work here.)

As the subject, this problem only appear in 12.6.6: Post Loop module give error when Offset posts >= total posts count of the site.

Now we can save any Offset posts number in TagDiv composer (no checking of total post#), while the page & TagDiv composer cannot be accessed again with below error if Offset posts >= total posts count of the site:
Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue

We have to manually clean the offset value in code format of the page to make the page & TagDiv composer accessible again. [tdb_loop offset=””]

Please fix the bugs as it’s useful for designing stage of new sites, thank you.

Hello!

Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/; use the tagdiv Composer to edit your header and change the logo or add a new logo element in the header.
You should click on the menu element and choose a menu already created from that drop-down setting.

Thank you!

In TagDiv Composer, I am able to create a Social Icons element and place that wherever I would like on the page. Currently, I have it in the Header of my website. However, the element does not display in my header on mobile—which is fine, because there are social icons displayed in the mobile hamburger menu.

However, I cannot edit the icons shown in the mobile menu. There are some missing, and I cannot click on them to edit/manipulate them in TagDiv Composer. How do I edit the social icons displayed in the mobile menu?

Hello!

We have a guide with some tips on why our Composer is not working properly; please check it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/.
Examine some other potential interfering factors: https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

Let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hello, we’re running custom ads by code on 2 websites running newspaper 12.6.x and ads are displaying on demokracij.si, but not on nova24tv.si
Talking about in-article video ads https://app.screencast.com/aLXh4VpAXAos8
For example, video ad appears in the article https://demokracija.si/fokus/evropski-poslanec-milan-zver-iranska-revolucionarna-garda-je-udba-nad-udbo/

But not here https://nova24tv.si/dr-krek-referendum-o-konoplji-se-lahko-zelo-grdo-zlorabi/

Even though ad codes are done the same way via tagdiv composer –> single post content –> ads https://app.screencast.com/XuJdBHo0Y180o

Any help appreciated!

Hi zelatech, this is a little more complicate, first you need to identify the template that you are using on the page/article where you want to add the taxonomy, after that you’ll need to edit that template file and add the code for your taxonomy to be displayed (this depends on the code/plugin you are using). As an example you are using the taxonomies on articles and you have style 2, in this case you’ll need to edit those files:
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/single/loop-single-2.php
– wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/single/single_template_2.php
Also, some of those files can be set in a child theme, so those will not be changed when the theme will be updated – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-child-theme-support/
I hope this will help you!

Hello,

I recommend using flex blocks instead of block 1-25 because the flex block has more options and creates the sidebar with the composer.

Thank you!
