You have errors on your site and that is why it does not display the way it should.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

It seems the layout of the theme is broken, you should try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and purge cdn files. Also check any custom code you may have entered in theme panel or added to the theme files. But if nothing works you could do a fresh install using one of the two methods – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and using only the recommended plugins.

Hello, I use Newsmag with Visual composer and I see the latest version of WP that it is compatible with is 4.7x, but WordPress is now up to 4.72….
WE have found that when we updated WP, it broke the VC a bit: The latest version of Visual Composer has also deprecated some of its short tags and features, so if they are being used, they’d no longer work after updating the plugin.
I am wondering if there is plans to make VC compatible with latest version and is there any feature that are no longer supported since 2015. We developed our site using VC, so i don’t want to have to start over.

Thanks. I am also having issues with Text Block within Visual Composer. It won’t allow me to do anything. Is there a fix for this issue?
It did work with newsmag 3.1 (just used it few minutes ago); but was then removed from Github. So, the “works with newsmag” version is no longer available for download on github it looks like, so … The version with ionmag is different, it seems and designed for ionmag, not other TD themes.
I think they are ‘testing’ the waters of eventually offering TD Composer as alternate to VC for Newspaper and then Newsmag, but that has been an “in the works” idea for two years now.
I would guess they should remove the “sticky” from the top of the main forum here, since it’s actually “not” on github for download at the moment, nor the past month.

You cannot get the same look if you use a page you can edit in visual composer as the homepage. Right now you have just a list of your latest posts set up from the wordpress settings. It seems that you have deeply customized the theme and there is no quick solution for this. There are custom settings set on some of the elements of the theme, and custom classes – https://www.screencast.com/t/ZYTUfI1Ctnv You must go over and check these customizations, where you have made them (theme panel or in the theme files) Or if you did not make those changes maybe a plugin could be the cause, so please try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer and the mobile theme, clear cache, purge cdn files and see if the problem is still there. A new theme install should fix this also, just delete the theme and install it again only using the required plugins that come bundled with the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

This could be caused by a plugin or plugin conflict, so try as a test to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear your cache and purge cdn files, then check to see if the search is working. If the problem is not there anymore, enable the plugins one at a time to identify the one that is most likely causing this issue.

It seems you do not have enough posts to populate more articles. Please make sure you filter the block so it has posts to load. Are you sure the filtering you use on your block provides more than the 10 posts shown now?

Please switch to a wp default theme to see if the issue is still present. Our theme does not impact the content that can or cannot be inserted into a post. It could also be plugin related so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. I was trying to minify the CSS on the NewsMag, but noticed that even if I use Autoptimize for creating a single and Minify CSS, the NewsMag is loading a full CSS within the HTML of the front page and the posts. I try even disabling all plugins except Visual Composer and this problem is still there.
This is some kind of redundant code I guess, so how do I get it off?. I scan your code on https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ and is certainly very clean of this redundant CSS.

I did what you said and got no error, but my elements are still fix width on the center or fixed width on the left. Never full width. There must be some other constraint because when I look with firebug there are elements with fixed width like .td_block_big_grid_4.
If you want you can take a look at the site http://upliftingview.com/ now. The first 2 Visual Composer Elements are set to “stretch row and content” and you will see they have fixed width.
What am I doing wrong? I just used the ThemePanel and Add Page functionality from the back-end.

The home page works perfectly, even with visual composer activated. But all the others pages do to render the content of themselves. The title of the page and socials share buttons are displayed but not the content…

Please keep in mind that the category pages cannot be edited with Visual Composer, sorry! The only control over the category pages is from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Wq0ZGIfhIk If you want to change the category templates you should do it from the code. So, if you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Do you are using the Mobile Theme plugin? If you are using this plugin for mobile viewport, this is normal behavior because the Mobile Theme does not recognize the Visual Composer shortcode.
I suppose that you do not understand very good how mobile theme works, right? So, please notice that this theme concept intend to display a Big Grid feature at the top of homepage which shows the posts which are included in Featured category, then will show a text which you added in Mobile Editor in Visual Composer from backend and at the very bottom of the page you will bring the Latest Articles module. Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme do not recognize the Visual Composer shortcode and that’s why you did not get the demo style for mobile theme. So, for more information about our mobile theme, please check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you are unhappy with this layout, and if you want to have the similar structure with our demo mobile, you will simply turn off the mobile plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile mode.

These are warnings that in most cases could be ignored. As long as there are no errors, the site should be fine. You are testing with a php checker so they could not be errors on your site at all. This will detect all of the code and these could not show up anywhere. Nonetheless I will add this to our list for future updates and have a look. Unfortunately since the warning originate from the visual composer and revolution slider plugins, there will be little to be done from the theme’s side. We are not allowed to edit the plugin code as it will break our license agreement. Please make sure both plugins are up to date using the latest version of the theme (latest version of the plugins can be found in the latest version of the theme’s package)
Visual composer as well as revolution slider are working on adding compatibility for PHP 7 as can be seen here: https://www.screencast.com/t/RkeIneluV but there could be a few such warnings that were missed and will be updated in future versions. Warnings usually do not break the functionality.

If you are afraid you might accidentally uninstall the demo, an alternative would be to use one of the default predefined homepage templates – https://www.screencast.com/t/zQ4pByWqsP – and take it from there, or you could just create your own pages using Visual composer elements the way you want. I believe that only an administrator role has access to making any theme changes, and there is also a prompt asking if you want to uninstall the demo – https://www.screencast.com/t/BqIypPWO9M so it is not a one click mistake.
