Hi,

I suggest you try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer to rule out a plugin or plugin conflict that may be causing this and also clear your cache to see if the problem is still there. If you are using WP Super Cache here is a guide to properly configure the plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thanks

I installed the demo, load individual page themes using visual composer and then updated the individual blocks with specific content. I think it was easier than rebuild complete page block by block – maybe later when there is enough content to prioritize and show recent entries.

Hello,

You can install a theme demo like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
If you do not want to install a demo but rather create the pages to look like the demos you will have to learn how to use visual composer to add and remove content https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and use block settings to filter your posts: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/

The documentation provides lots of usefull information you will need to learn the theme’s options.

Thank you!

Hello Leofitz,

I have checked your source page and I noticed that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. For more information about this way, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Thank you for your understanding!

The images are not showing on a fresh installation. I installed it on a new wordpress installation. I have tried all the suggestions, except I didn’t downgrade the Visual Composer Plugin since I am not sure if that is possible since the plugin came bundled with the theme.

Hi,

Try switching to your main theme if you are using a child theme, also disable all your plugins and leave only Visual composer active, clear cache and see if the problem is still there. Most likely this is the result of a plugin or plugin conflict, so if the problem is not there anymore enable your plugins one at a time to identify the possible cause.

Thanks

Hi,

Unfortunately no such Visual composer addons were tested with the theme and there could be compatibility problems. The theme is fully compatible with the standard Visual composer plugin so maybe they will work but you will just have to do some trial and error testing.

Hi,

From what I can see your site is not displaying properly, at the moment it is full width so you can not see the background behind it, you should try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer and make sure you use the latest version of this plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ clear the cache and purge cdn files if you use it. You should also consider updating to the latest version of the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Thanks

Hello NewBuffaloTimes,

Here is talking about two different elements. In the first example, is an author box feature which can be added from Visual Composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7j7LgkZPCrg and which displays all the authors and in the second example, is talking about the author box from the single post which shows only the post author.
Notice that the theme does not have any such an option for your desire, but if you want to do that, you should edit the Author Box and add what type of code you want. Notice that if you do not have solid coding skills in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Dear Creators,

I have tried many options in last 2-3 days for improving Google Pagespeed scores – main area is Minify CSS and JS and Caching. I signed-up CloudFlare free / basic plan – but i dont think it is working.

***** Part 1: Minify CSS and JS
I tried following plugins and for last 2-3 days, it is not very much succesful and most of them give FOUC on the site.

Plugins Tested:
1. Autoptimize (If enable HTML then FOUC within seconds, and cannot select any advanced options because FOUC)
I tried to select options to push CSS inline and load into the head – using the advanced options, but homepage breaks.

2. WP Roids (some issue with .htaccess – maybe because of my hosting, but give FOUC) – I have contacted the plugin author already and there is another guy which has Newspaper 7 theme having issue with this plugin.

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/breaking-site-with-newspaper-7-visual-composer/

3. WP Super Minify (i dont know if this did anything – cannot see any changes)

4. Best WordPress Minify – using since today afternoon – Not FOUC yet

Note: Cloudflare Minify option is activated all the time.

Can you please advise which plugin to use – which will not break the CSS and render pages properly. I removed Revolution Slider for now also to improve speed.

Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it, and try again.

1. How to use Visual Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/

2. Edit your Main Page via Visual Composer and delete “Ad box” before your “Big Grid 3”. Save changes.

Building pages within Visual Composer and attempting to add category filter in blocks. We have several hundred categories as we use them for geographic areas; but, the category filter dropdown only displays about 75% of them. In reading through support entries, I saw a reference to max_input_vars default value… Our host changed the value from 3,000 to 10,000, but that didn’t resolve the problem. Any suggestions?

Hello,
I have the latest upgrade of the Woocommerce plugin(2.6.14), the Newspaper theme(7.2c) and WP (4.7.2)on my site at; http://www.marketwisetrader.com

I’m having odd results on my Woocommerce Store page. I’ve created several shop/store page one, but each time the vertical spacing can’t be controlled with big vertical spacing between header and page title and top product post. The second VC row of Product Categories also has large ‘un-requested’ vertical spacing. Last, the products are all re-posted a second time below the bottom VC product row !?

Could you advise a fix?
Thanks,
Lon

Hi I just purchased this theme a day ago and installed it on my local machine. Right away I started getting a js prompt on the home page after activating Visual Composer. The prompt Say “Enter Your JS Here!”. The message goes away when i deactivate Visual Composer. Any ideas why this is happening?

Hi, addons for visual composer are not working, how can i activate them? I have read that in some cases it would be possible to activate some. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This could be a plugin conflict or a plugin interfering with the theme’s js. I suggest you try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer and see if the problem is still there. If you still have this issues please contact us by mail at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin login information so we can investigate. Also paste a link to this topic as well.

Hello,

Please disable all other plugins except visual composer and wp super cache and clear all caching from the plugin.
Then test the views again. Also check your settings as you may not have activated the ajax view count. it is required if you use a cache plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ajax-view-count/

Thank you!

Hello Chandan Kumar Singh,

I have checked your website, and I did not saw any problem with your site. How do you have tested the mobile version of Ie11? Do you have downloaded a browser for your phone? Please provide more details so I will be able to identify the problem. However, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and check the results.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

Well there are on the front end: https://www.screencast.com/t/9xqBnbjYN
This looks more and more like a plugin conflict.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello aeronyc,

Please keep in mind that you never need to buy the Vc with our theme because this plugin comes bundled with the theme packet. Notice that the plugin which is included in theme packet is the best version of Visual Composer which you have to use…it is a built in with the theme. Please try to use only the plugins which are included in theme packet and check the results. For more information about how you can use our Visual Composer plugin, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

The js error is most likely caused bu one of your plugins. Unfortunately it is impossible for us to say which one. You will have to remove all of them except visual composer and clear all caching. Then activate them one by one testing your site after each one in order to find the one causing the issues.

Thank you!
