Please ensure that you have fully updated your theme to the latest version of it. Also, please ensure that you have updated your required plugins to the latest version of them (Social Counter ->4.0 and Visual Composer ->4.11.2). Try to clear all your caches and test it again and check how it works for you. Please notice that the Visual Composer is fully tested with our new latest version of the theme and works perfectly.

I have checked your website and I saw that your pretty photo is not opened in the correct way. It might be a conflicting plugin. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out this conflict.

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then change the header style to another one and see if it applies.
If this still won’t work, please download the new update (added today) and install the theme again with this occasion. If the header still won;t work, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect the issue.

Please notice that our mobile theme plugin does not influent the correct working for Visual Composer for the rest of your site. So, please notice that the mobile theme was intent to display a very simple version of the page and at the moment you can add only text, images because the Visual Composer is not supported by the mobile theme plugin. You must deactivate all plugins at once, not deactivate them one by one. Deactivate all of them except visual composer, and clear cache. then check the menu without them. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect the issue.

The error message states that the folder you want to create already exists. please use the ftp method to update the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and for visual composer, please acces your plugin files via ftp and delete js_composer. Then install it again.
Revolution slider and visual composer cannot be “activated”. You can ignore the messages about the plugin activation as the version of the plugins that we provide with our theme are free versions that do not have activation codes, but work properly without it.

The logo is a big image so a header style that uses the full logo is the best choice (9, 10 or 11)
The stretched grid does not seem to position properly for the site as the content is stretched. You can use revolution slider to create a full width slider below the menu like in this demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_travel/ (the slider is already included in the theme archive under demo sliders) or you can use one of the big grids: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-9/
The rest are simply a selection of block elements on the homepage.

there could be a plugin conflict. I just copied the code snippet and added it inside a simple text element in the widgets area. Try to disable all plugin except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. then try again.

Please first try it without any plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This will rule out a plugin conflict.

Hi,
Unfortunately this is the downside of adding customization to a theme . Code gets changed and a customization that worked in newspaper 6 could not work properly in newspaper 7 if it’s not adapted to the new code.
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Some plugins could also not work anymore in newspaper 7 and they could create conflicts.
If you want to roll back to newspaper 6 try it without plugins also for the 500 error as newspaper 6 is fully compatible with wordpress 4.5.2.

Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please keep in mind that our theme is very complex and we do not recommend using untested plugins because these could make some interferences with the theme code and might cause a lot of unknown issues, like this.

First of all, please try to switch your theme to default one and check if there you will have this problem on the search page. Also, please try to make a new install with the latest version of the theme and check there if this issue persists. It is very important to try this because it is possible that your install to be affected and that’s why to appear this issue on the search page. Please try to make this new install and update your theme from scratch without untested plugins, only with Visual Composer and see hot it works. After this, if your problem is still there after these changes, please let us know. Hi,
The best thing to do in this case is to simply download the l;atest version and install it via ftp. The code was changed in such a way from your version that updating with the patches has the same result as simply updating directly.
