Whenever I try and import any template to any of my sites from the Cloud Library, I get this message at the top of the window:

[ { "type": "AJAX ERROR", "message": "Invalid reply from server endpoint.", "debug_data": { "endpoint": "td-cloud-library/new_template", "request": { "readyState": 4, "responseText": "{\"code\":\"internal_server_error\",\"message\":\"<p>There has been a critical error on this website.<\\/p><p>Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.<\\/a><\\/p>\",\"data\":{\"status\":500},\"additional_errors\":[]}", "responseJSON": { "code": "internal_server_error", "message": "<p>There has been a critical error on this website.</p><p>Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.</p>", "data": { "status": 500 }, "additional_errors": [] }, "status": 500, "statusText": "error" } } } ]

Then the template is blank when I open it in tagDiv composer. Any guidance?

Hi Calin,

Thanks for the update, I designed the home page with the tagdiv composer, what would be then the best option to set only part of the home page with the pagination, just like this blog has managed to do so. https://priyadogra.com/

Thank you

Hi,
Normally, a site has two parts with text: pages and blogs. They are two separate departments. The pages, after adjusting the fonts a while ago, is ok.
While blog fonts does not. Also, the blog do not open articles with Div Composer tags as you suggest.
Why this Theme doesn’t adjust fonts on Blog?
I need to have regular font on blog articles.

Please see attachment
- font how should be, but is ok only on pages
as u see, is possible to open divtag only on pages
https://www.cuori-ribelli.it/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Schermata-2022-03-04-alle-19.11.38.png
but not on blog.

thx for help

thx

Hello @GP_Media!

If you use default templates, then you should activate the Standard Pack plugin. Please consider to use TagDiv Composer builder in order to use our cloud templates.
For more customizations, we recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Documentation here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/

Check also our video tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/c/tagdivThemes/videos and more theme documentation on the left side: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
You can import a cloud template or if you’ll like some sections from a demo, than you can find that section in the Cloud Templates or you can do it from scratch also by importing a blank template: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg

Hello @madpixel!

Please make sure the page is not built with the TagDiv Composer. In this case, the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor. Check the documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Note that if you create the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.

Thank you!

As promised, i did the switch. Was quite easy fortunately but i guess years of newsmag makes some kind of DNA.

One last question… i’m playing a bit with theme layout to search the one i like the most: at the moment i’m using default pro, i tried to load magazine pro but there was some kind of error and composer was not available so i went back to default pro but i had to rebuild the whole homepage with the composer.

Is there a way so “save” for example MY “default pro” layout (i mean settings for articles block sorting and everything that actually makes my homepage) so that if something goes wrong with new layout i dont have to lose time to rebuild the previous again?

May restoring a previously saved mysql backup do the job?

Thanks.

Hi,
just some feedback for the tagDiv composer: it would be great to enable and disable elements in the pagebuilder. I’ll be using a workaround by saving a block “as element” and then deleting the block. But in the future it would be great so simply disable elements in the frontend editor. Also, when using the css option “display: hidden”, the element completely gets lost in the backend, a regular editor musst use F12 dev-tools, to get back this element. The element should be “grayed out” in the frontend editor.

Would love to see this in a future update 🙂

In order to see the archive template, you should import and assign one.
Please make sure it is not a cache issue.

Hello,

Please provide screenshots. Usually, you can delete with tagdiv composer or hide, but now I don’t know exactly what element you are referring to.

Thank you!

Hi,
Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to set the font in one place and this to apply for entailer website. Indeed, you can set it in a few places and will apply for the most of website elements, for this you need to set it in the theme panel (at least in general -> https://i.imgur.com/e5c2CGY.png) and with tagDiv Composer on manager style -> https://i.imgur.com/R0COgH2.png (this will apply the style on the current template and on the cloud header and footer). Now the only problem remains on the blocks elements, on those the style need to be set manually. What you can do is to set the style on one block then just copy the style for the remain blocks.
I hope that this time I understand correctly the question.
Thank you for your understanding!

Hello @die-NetzWerkstatt!

If you want to edit it then you should add the element in the page, edit and save it again, delete the previous element. The changes will not apply automatically, only if you save again the element.
In order to save content, then you can add the content from the TagDiv Composer using the element “Column text” and “Text with title”.
You can use the element easily when you save the element.

Thank you!

Hello,

If you want to use the Post Templates which are in the Theme Panel, then please make sure you have the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin updated and activated.
Also, you can use a Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can customize the layout with tagDiv Composer.
Those styles/templates/blocks are from tagDiv Standard Pack, and this plugin is not required from version 10.4, because the new demos are using cloud templates.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation

Thank you!

CCS issues solved. page is displayed correctly. We still don’t know where it came from. But since we set back php version from 8.0 to 7.4 we were able to reload css and create a correct mobile page. probably the theme/composer has some issues there?

Another thing is, we tried to set up a caching plugin after we recreated all pages and from our side we seemed to ready to publish. But, all plugins seem to create issues. We tried it with the recommended WP Super Cache plugin, but an interesting error is, that on desktop the home page showed up on desktop in mobile version. happened to us due to the fact we use both devices. After turning of caching plugin, the error is gone and everything is loading correctly.

Have you heard about an issue like that before? Any recommendations for caching? We would like to use it since the page is loading already pretty lame.

FYI: We exactly set up the plugin as you recommended it in your forum blog post.

Hi,
The fonts form the posts can be changed by using tagDiv Composer, edit the single post template, select the single post content and check the css tab -> https://i.imgur.com/8KOyNUJ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/wQ6c20O.jpg

Hi guys, so like many users in here I’ve manually changed the whole fonts on my pages elements through the Style tab on TD Composer, and on the Theme Panel as well, but still I know that there are some places I couldn’t change, and that whenever I create a new element, it will be set to some “Default Font”.

So, please help us all. Is there any way, we can simply set the default font that we choose? One place were we can just choose which will be the default font and it does the trick for everyplace that has the default font as settings?

We’re loosing so many ours doing this manually..

Hi hactor,
If I understand correctly, you’ll like to use the WPML language shortcode, That should work and the shortcode can be set using tagDiv Composer in a column text or text with title in text zone -> https://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-coding-api/shortcodes/
If this is not what you mean, please let me know!

Hi,
The page breadcrumbs are coming from the page template and you have set the “Page Builder + Page Title” -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ if you set the default page, the the page title and breadcrumbs are removed. If you want you can add the page title using tagDiv Composer .
The footer info that you have can be edited from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/smqE29h.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!

I just adjusted a text snippet as usual, now the page is a mess : https://sherides.de/ueber-uns/
