Hey all!

So I’m totally new at this, this is my first wordpress website that I’m trying to put together myself.

I’m using the Rimont theme, however, every time that I click on the tagdiv composer to make an edit, wordpress crashes.

I either get a 429 error or a Chrome error code: 5.

I installed this theme today, and have hardly been able to work on the site because of the crashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello, I am using the list element. Unfortunately, it starts from the very beginning under the bullet when there is a break in the line.
How can I indent this?
I do NOT want to work with <br> etc.. How does this work with CSS or the composer settings?

Hello,

My client’s website has more than 12K posts. I had slow queries, which made the post load after 2 or 3 seconds, maybe more.

I am using Redis on a stage website and it is the same. Also, I am using RDS by AWs and the same.

It is a very serious problem as the website has around 8K users per day.

Please guide me.

Kindly, check

Hi Team,

Will you please provide some advise on the issue below.

On my staging site, just started to build a website, I noticed that it shows some errors on the log.

[12-Jan-2022 14:50:01 UTC] PHP Warning: Undefined array key “SCRIPT_NAME” in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/wp-includes/load.php on line 79

I have reinstalled td-composer or reinstall all WP and start from zero, these lines will come up on the error log.

It is not a big issue, but it will be a lot in the future.

is this because I have not set up the theme right?

Please let me know what I can do.

I am preloading the fonts already. I tried preloading also the css e.g.
echo "<link href='https://femmefatale.ecode.gr/wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/assets/css/td_standard_pack_main.css?ver=79f8a1d02f05c15c98a62e68cd419e0b' rel='preload' as='style' crossorigin>";
echo "<link href='https://femmefatale.ecode.gr/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/css/td_legacy_main.css?ver=381db5cebf26144e1b1ab5f0477be694' rel='preload' as='style' crossorigin>";
echo "<link href='https://femmefatale.ecode.gr/wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/assets/css/td_standard_pack_main.css?ver=79f8a1d02f05c15c98a62e68cd419e0b' rel='preload' as='style' crossorigin>";
echo "<link href='https://femmefatale.ecode.gr/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css?ver=11.4' rel='preload' as='style' crossorigin>";

but still no improvement.

Hi,

This does not work for me because i cannot translate cloud templates. I cannot even edit them with composerhttps://prnt.sc/26cqeo1

Also, the header is not a cloud template. I am using the Style 3 – Multipurpose and i use different menu’s for every language.

I cannot find a solution for my situation. The last thing i want to do is to copy-paste the footer i created on every page.

Waiting for your reply soon,

Thank you.

Hi,
The text can be translated using the theme panel > translations -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/loading-translations/
Or in case that you want to edit it, then it can be done only in the theme files and those can be find in this folder wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header
Thank you!

Hello,

The tagDiv Composer is a page builder and it can be used for building pages and cloud templates, but not for creating posts. For this, you’ll need to use the Gutenberg or classic editor.
Using tagDiv Composer, you can build/edit the single post template (the layout of the posts).
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg to do this you’ll need to already have the posts.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum or email if you have any questions.
Also, if you want to have some blocks/elements on a certain post, then you can use a different single template for posts, you can duplicate the template -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/

I hope this will help you!

Thank you!

Hello,

Please make sure you have the tagDiv plugins activated, like tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Standard Pack if you have the blocks from this plugin.
Also, please provide some screenshots and the link to your website to be able to help you.

Thank you!

Hi cyanbear,
To see the most popular posts, you’ll need to filter the block using one of those filters -> https://i.imgur.com/lyCJa5Y.png for the & days, the option need to be enabled in the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/Haz4xoo.png and you need also to have the post view enabled (if you use standard templates,, the option cam be enabled from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/mCp1Mgd.png if you use cloud templates you’ll need to set the elements with tagDiv Composer on single post template).
Thank you!

Hi Calin, thank you very much for your help and your answer.

I have solved it. I have one more question. Is there a known way to prevent when there is some td composer update from losing the configuration I made and having to re-overwrite the td_fonts.php manually?

Thanks.

Hi Wizerdo,

It was a while ago, but I will try to remember and share here what I did.

From the WordPress Dashboard, you can look here:

Plugins > Plugin Editor > tagDiv Composer > (select Newspaper) > (select parts) > (then you will find menu-mobile.php)

From here, I don’t remember what exactly I changed, but what will help is to use your browser’s developer tools and inspect elements, and most developer tools should let you make the edits there, then you can see how it changes the website.

I think my site has updated the theme, and probably reset / re-uploaded the code for that file, so I am having the same problem again (otherwise I would have just copy and pasted and shared the code I had with you).

I do wish the tagDiv devs could be aware of this issue and look into it.

I believe it has something to do with there being two sections in that mobile-menu.php file:
<!– login section –>
<!– register/login section –>

Hello,

Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins -> https://i.imgur.com/j8q38If.png and see if you can make changes.
Also, please check the console when you try to save the changes made with tagDiv Composer maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.

Thank you!

Good evening from Japan,

If you turn on only tagDiv Composer, you will get an error.

It seems that tagDiv Composer is still wrong.

We need PHP 8 in our production environment, so it would be great if you could take care of this as soon as possible.

If there is anything else, I will post it in this thread.

Thank you for your support.

Hi,
Now are used cloud templates and in this way you can set the blocks using tagDiv Composer and you no longer need the widget section.
If that element is coming from a widget, then you’ll need to use a custom css, if you want, I can help you with this, but I will need a link to your website where I can inspect the elements.
Thank you!

Hello,

If you install a Pro Prebuilt Website the changes from the Theme Panel for fonts will not apply, to change the font on block/post you can edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://prnt.sc/10grx77 , select the block/post and in Style, you can change the font => https://www.screencast.com/t/sUE7ug4UIAR5 also, after you can copy the style and paste it -> https://i.imgur.com/WCHxXlr.png
This is a video about how to change the fonts => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQvA64uTLkI

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hi,
Thank you for kind words!
About the mobile theme plugin, I ‘ll try to explain how this is working. Using it you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of the theme, but, in order to achieve that speed, the mobile theme will replace entire layout of your website with a standard design and you’ll need to create new content for pages (there will be only a page, but this will have a different content that will be used only if is set the mobile theme), this is because in most cases those were made with builders (tagDiv Composer, WPBakery) and those are usually making the mobile version slower, so, you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set/make the content for pages in mobile editor, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar) -> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
I hope this helps you a little.
Thank you!

Hi Manha Com,
I’m sorry, my intention was not to insult you!
What I mean was that the theme is use only the fonts that are listed here -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_fonts.php and is making a reqest from them on google api fonts.googleapis.com
The fonts are not automatically injected in the theme, those need to be added manually. So, at the time when the fonts were added, there were 948 major fonts and the Public Sans I do not think was one of them and was added only latter. What can be done is to add the font in the theme file so that will make a request for it -> https://i.imgur.com/W6o4B7s.png (the path for the file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_fonts.php).
I made also a request to add the rest of the google fonts in the theme list, but, this can take some time.
Thank you for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi smilelondon , the single post template can be edited using the tagDiv Composer, and you can add or remove the elements from the template. So, in this cane you can use the right click to remove the featured image -> https://i.imgur.com/zUawajx.png
Indeed, on android everything seems to be normal, also on emulator. Unfortunately, I do not have an iOS, but, I asked a friend to check it and see what can be the problem.
Thank you!

Hi Jose, this can be done quite easy if you choose to use a single post template from cloud -> https://i.imgur.com/OukmYdU.png
If you want to use a standard template (edit the single that you use -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single/single_template_1.php -> https://i.imgur.com/TKZ9klS.png and set it in -> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/single/loop-single-1.php -> https://i.imgur.com/iwEDpFF.png, if is the default template the files are wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/loop-single.php and wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/single.php), the you must edit it (edit the file and set it in a child theme).
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then the same change need to be done in this file wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php unfortunately, this can not be set in a child theme.
I hope this will help you!

Hi gimmydagar,
You can change the width for entire website, for this you’ll need to adjust the rows using tagDiv Composer, for example -> https://i.imgur.com/KzuOy4B.jpg if you want to set it smaller, select the default -> https://i.imgur.com/ZYIu7BO.jpg then set in the layout tab the width that you want to use https://i.imgur.com/exraXM0.png this need to be done per each row.
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
