Please make sure that you do not have a js error through your Console. Also, ensure that you have setup your sidebar according to our documentation. So, if you are using some untested plugins, try to clear all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

The menu of the News Magazine menu has icons before each category/menu item. When I installed the demo, there are no icons. How can I make icons with each of my categories/menu items…and more importantly, how can I put my own icons/images in the place where the icons are on the demo? Thanks!
WP Rocket is not tested with Newspaper Theme. WP Super Cache plugin is tested and recommended by tagDiv.

Can someone please share Newsmag-Default Contact page code? My existing contact page from the Installation Demo is not well-formatted and does not look same as contact page on TagDiv Demo.
To be clear, am not looking for instructions to install Contact Form 7 (will probably delete the form and leave only the Contact Details section). Rather, trying to get the sidebar to look like default demo which includes sections for Stay Connected, Ad Placeholder at 300×250, and Article Summary.

I’m sorry but this theme is INCOMPATIBLE with Buddy Press. I’ve installed buddy press, and multiple pages (Activity, Group home) are completely buggy (missing parts like footer, sidebar, styling, etc).
Apparently this is a legacy issue/old bug that never got fixed. Either way it’s false advertising to say that this theme is compatible with buddy press when out of the box it causes issues.
I Instaledd WAMPSERVER on localhost, than installed WordPress, than Newspaper theme 7.7.1 than imported theme setings from my live site….
and BANG this error starts to happen….

checked this forum for help, and found nothing… then somehow I remmebered to install a DEMO without sample data, as I did in live site…

So I have tried everything I can and I still can’t get the slider to show on my home page from the baby blog. I installed the baby blog theme, then made my edits, saving this for last. I uploaded the template from the page and can view it no problem. But it still doesn’t show up. Where do I add the short code and what code do I even add? I am lost. Any help would be great.

after I installed the Newspaper theme I uploaded the new website logo in all sizes and everywhere, as recommended.
I use the Yoast SEO plugin and all fields for logo are filled with the urls with the correct logo image.
However when I paste a link into skype, the preview shows the old logo. Can you help with this, am I missing something?

Please ensure that behavior does not come from your untested plugins. To be safe, try to disable all of the untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Please try updating the theme using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ The surest method in this regard is by FTP – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Also disable all the plugins except Visual composer and clear the cache. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme. Then try installing the theme again and see if the error is still there.

1. Some users here on the forum are using the Adrotate plugin, with favorable results. You can try this plugin and see if it suits your needs.
2. You can install any plugin that you think is necessary for your website. But besides compatibility issues that could appear between them or conflicts with the theme, an increased number of plugins could negatively affect your website page loading speed. So it would be best to use only the ones you think are most necessary for your project.

You do not have to install a demo if you do not want to. It is not mandatory. You can create your own page in visual composer and set it as a home page. You can play around in the page builder a bit and get a feel for it. There are lots of neat options you can use to show posts and filter the results. Is there something to the menu? That it folds open and you see the pictures?
First: try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check again.
To change the Titles can (for example) the Yoast Seo plugin. Check its settings if the plugin you have installed.

Thanks. I migrated my site from a Managed WP server to a CPanel shared host, increased site RAM by a GB, installed WP-Super Cache, and removed all MU plugins from the managed WP site. The site is real fast now.
Ironically, the TagDiv image carousel or slide still doesn’t load when the home page is invoked. One has to land on the page for a minute or two, before the slide starts. To me, this indicates a problem with the theme.
I suppose a plugin could be the culprit. But those I am running I need.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
