When I try to up date my Newspaper theme 12.2 to 12.6.2 it deletes all the activated tag div plugins and says:-
Updating all tagDiv plugins…
tagDiv Composer – Not installed
tagDiv Cloud Library – Not installed
tagDiv Standard Pack – Not installed
When I look at my plugins page there are tag div plugins.
I have 3 other identical (theme and plugins) sites and they have all updated ok.
Plugins are identical to my other websites.
was informed and given confirmation on enquiring multiple times by your sales team that the WP Bakery plugin is included in the theme. However, upon installing the theme, I discovered that the plugin is not present.
I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide me with a solution. I am requesting that the WP Bakery plugin be added to my theme as soon as possible.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Hello Bettina,
ok ok. I don’t have any code. I bought the plugin Thrive Leads. Thrive Leads is installed and activated under DESIGN/WIDGETS (NEWSPAPER DEFAULT/THRIVE LEADS WIDGETS). There is only one checkbox and it is activated. The Thrive Leads Newsletter Box is only displayed on customised pages such as Imprint, Privacy Policy. But not on the homepage or published articles.
Thank you.
Hi,
I am currently using the Newspaper Theme on my WordPress multisite network, and while it functions seamlessly on the main domain, I’ve encountered some issues on the subdomains.
Here is the structure of my multisite network:
domain.com
domain.com/subdomain-1
domain.com/subdomain-2
domain.com/subdomain-3
The Newspaper theme is installed on the main domain and is working perfectly. However, on the subdomains, the theme doesn’t seem to function as expected.
In the “Themes” panel, the Newspaper Theme is visible, and it is activated for the subdomains. However, when navigating to the “Newspaper” panel on the subdomains, only the options “Welcome,” “Plugins,” and “Support” are available. Unfortunately, the options “Prebuilt Websites,” “System Status,” “Updates,” “Theme Panel,” and “My License” are not visible. Consequently, I am unable to modify the settings within these panels for the subdomains.
I am inquiring whether the Newspaper theme is designed to work with multisite networks. Additionally, I am would like to know if it’s possible to install different pre-built designs for each distinct subdomain.
I would be very grateful if you would help me in this matter.
Hello,
Please deactivate, delete, and reinstall tagDiv Composer from Newspaper plugins and try after to install it.
Thank you!
Hello @Mediarse!
When we do an update, we update everything to be better and better, and we do not have a purpose as you describe. That’s why the theme has become a big one with a lot of functions and features for everyone.
We wanted to create the easiest platform, so you can build your website without knowing any code and have the possibility to customize every field from any demo.
We are sorry that you felt this way.
Also, sometimes the plugins become deprecated, and we need to find a workaround for them, so we will use new, better features instead.
Make sure you have all the plugins (installed and active) you had before the update.
For every update, we always recommend the following:
-> First of all, please make sure you have a backup.
-> Please deactivate all the non-tested plugins with our theme before updating.
-> Update WordPress, PHP, the theme, and plugins to the latest version: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/.
-> Check all these requirements for the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
I am not getting install button only preview button is there want to install prebuild theme
I also had the same problem while installing Urban Observer Pro on my website. There is a problem with the theme when you install only the demo. The support was not able to rectify the issue on my website.
What I did is installed the “demo with contents” and then deleted all the posts, pages and images associated with Urban Observer Pro theme.
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_urban_observer_pro/ This is the demo link of UrbanObserver. when installed demo shows that the page content template is not set!
Hello,
I have installed the Metropolitan Prebuild to have it as a base, and, in the home footer menu (only in Home), the menu is seen with the sub-categories displayed (screenshot attached). In the rest of the sections it does not happen, and the footer included is the same (the Global one, configured as the Metropolitan one). When I edit with tagDiv the footer looks good.

In the rest of the website, appears OK:

Kind regards!
We have installed WPML on our site, implementing translations from Italian (original language) to English.
NewsMag is certified with WPML, however the “subtitle” field, even if translated, always reverts to the original language on saving. Also, the string “td-post-sub-title” does not result in any string translations.
Furthermore, some categories, despite being translated, continue to be displayed on the homepage only in the original language.
WPML support believes this is an issue to be resolved on the theme side.
Can you please help us out?
Thanks!
I have updated the theme requirement when I first installed it in the website with my host and we ensured all are updated. The site have SSL secured right from start!
Hello @nisantiago !
This seems to be a caching issue. Please try to uninstall the cache plugin and check if the problem is solved.
Unfortunately, we do not have the same feature in our theme.
Try to use the News ticker element: https://prnt.sc/7RzzjcVa3xsn

Hello @avatel!
You can choose to install the demo with content, which will bring all the resources, excluding the PSD files.
Thank you!
Hi,
You can disable the mobile theme only for that page to have it as you design with tagdiv Composer.
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
