I made some test using the child theme ( without optimizations ), I install the Demo theme : Classic Blog and the option from theme panel for top bar is working correctly for me.
Please make sure that you set the last version of child, also please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

Have you tried deleting the cache ? We do recommend WP Super Cache -https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/. If you’ve done this and the problem still persists try de-activating all non-theme related plugins reclear the cache.

I have Block 3 on my homepage (http://churchandstate.org.uk). Since I updated the theme, the last 2 images (sometimes even 4) are not being displayed. This only happens in Firefox; in Chrome or IE the images are displaying just fine. Obviously if I edit the article and upload the same image again, the problem goes away. In my local installation I have the same problem, with or without plugins.

I uninstalled and tried again. I was able to get the manual plugin install page and when I installed the tagdiv composer which it said succesful I got this error when I attempted to install the next plugin I get the same error.

Could you answer the question I posted about finding someone who can install the new theme version and eliminate any errors that reveal themselves as a result? Who provides this service please? This is a problem for us that we are writing to the forum to resolve after following all instructions provided by you. We need hands on support and our site ready to work for us. What technical solution can you provide or direct us to? Enough is enough. Something is broken and we can’t find out what. We have been running fine for 1, 1/2 years. Something is not right today.

I have recently updated the theme and install tag div mobile & AMP plugin. Here is my blog https://appmodo.com/
all the AMP URLs, for example, https://appmodo.com/spotify-premium-apk/amp turned into https://appmodo.com/spotify-premium-apk/?amp and I lost almost 50% of the website traffic all of the sudden as Google was indexing my pages with /amp versions for mobile…
Now, I’m also getting errors with google search console for validating AMP pages. I’m very much disappointed by this update as the permalink structure for AMP pages changed and I lost 50% of my organic traffic as well.

If the problem is still there you can delete the theme and reinstall it again.

You can find the child theme in the package that you have download from themeforest , you need to unzip the file and look in Newspaper-tf > code -> https://www.screencast.com/t/SkcjyR0cOz
Also now is no need to use child theme to customize the post templates of blocks/modules, you can customize the single posts templates from tagDiv Cloud Library directly in theme using tagDiv Composer also you can use flex blocks instead blocks, these can be easy change with tagDiv Composer.
If you like some parts from demos you can find theme in tagDiv Cloud Template and you can get them from there, without need to install the demo ( or you can install the demo and use others demo parts from tagDiv Cloud Library ).

But how do I enter the newsletter subscription field on the sidebar of my home page?
When you install the div newsletter it shows you three plugins as mailchimp but it doesn’t mention the newsletter plugin mentioned above.

I don’t have a logotxt.php file in my installation of Newspaper. It looks like the fix you provided is for newsmag. Where would that go in the Newspaper installation.
Plus I’ve create my own background header image but what size should it be, I’ve tried this and as you resize the screen the header graphic no longer fills the screen. Can’t send you link as I’m doing this on a local server whilst the old site keeps running.

Yes, the update is free. You can go on your Envato account and download the update. Here you can find more information about how to update the theme: https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ Take note that the latest updates of the theme are important and you have to make a clean install from scratch. Also remember to update and activate the plugins. Now the theme also requires to have the tagDiv Composer updated and active.

Well none of that really applies to me. This is a completely fresh install. I don’t even have demo installed yet. I want to create a child theme, something that should always be used. How do I do this? Like I said most themes I work with have always had an additional zip file. You upload the main one upload the child and activate the child very simple to do.
This seems like a major task and something I hope I don’t have to pay someone to do.
