Hi guys,
I’m having trouble trying to use the TD Composer. I just couldn’t find a way to make it work and every time I click on “edit with TD Composer” I get a “no response” error.
I’ve just installed the theme and, since I’m a beginner blogger, one of the features I was more excited about with this theme was being able to edit my layout with less trouble possible…

Did you install it ?
With NP 9 the ‘default’ page builder is TD Composer. WP Bakery VC is ‘optional.’
See the theme docs, but also the /plugins/ folder in the ‘all files’ download.
Not sure if that helps or not, just a thought. 🙂

I did the updating by ftp exactly as indicated.
I downloaded the new version and installed it without problem.
The thing that I don’t understand is that it is still indicating the version 8.8 instead of 9.0

I have installed Newspaper 9 theme on my blog. When I try to edit homepage using TG composer nothing load on the page and stuck,
Tried several times to uninstall and then install the theme back but the issue is the same. Thumbnails of the posts is also not showing.
Please help me in this regards, I’m attaching the screen shot for reference.
These Categories are managed by Blubrry’s PowerPress, but the site was already running a customized version of the News theme. I wanted to change it up and installed Technology’s demo, without the included content but it removed those categories and I have to roll things back since I need them for my podcast.
Any help on how to update without losing those?

In order to create a mega menu with sub category you need to gave newspaper install,
after that you need to have categories and sub categories then go in appearance menus and select just the category ( don’t select subcategories) click add to main, expand that field you add and set navigation label and click on dropdown and set the category to make it mega menu https://www.screencast.com/t/jZAtEGBUj3

Also if you install some plugins that are not tested with our theme deactivate them, save settings and try again with a new page ( try to make a new page with wp composer)

Check the requirements from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation. Ensure that your theme has been installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. If the problem is still there, you should provide some useful screenshots of all of these so I can identify them.

After install amp plugin please check if the plugin is activate, if not activate it,

To help you I will give you a short example, please be noticed that the amp work only on simple post/pages that make with tagDiv Composer will not work.
Go in WP Dashboard click post, ad new, create it and publish/update ( https://www.screencast.com/t/5poF1isPje3W ).

Unfortunately, please notice that our theme does not control this thing, sorry! You should install and use the Seo Yoast plugin and also, set up the robots.txt. Hi, i have been looking for my problem all over the forum, but cannot find it.
I am trying to edit text or just add text in TD Composer mode, but that really dont work. Whenever i try to edit text boxes, its just loading and loading.
Is this a known problem or just for me? It worked fine when i installed it, but some days after it have not been working well.

Hello. Have installed and activated my theme. No problem. But in my control panel, in red text, it states, “Please activate the theme” with purchase code. Tried that. But says API is down. Please try again later. What is this activation for? And how to do it if necessary when it states the API is down? Thanks in advance. Great theme!!
A year has gone by and I havent been helped.
I was told future updates would fix this widget bug. After installing the latest version, my social counter still says 0 followers but when you click the button my followers are in the hundreds on the official instagram site.

hi, I used Colormag by themegrill a months ago. but there was a problem about structured data so I’ve chosen this theme carefully to prevent any probs from theme that I installed. but a problem occurred which Images in my homepage
(https://meogtwi.com) haven’t shown up or appear slowly. so I’ve checked my SearchConsol first of all. and then I found an error (error code:500 WP-content/theme/Newspaper) and hardly images didn’t index. and then I call my hosting company. they told me this problem maybe occur in theme. how can I solve this problem ? I was trying to solve it myself, but didn’t work and I’m exhausted totally. please tell me how to settle it.

After you install the plugin go back on your WP Dashboard click on Contact > Contact Forms and copy the code under Shortcode https://www.screencast.com/t/NngJWh1j after that click on pages> hover the page you have for contact and select edit with td Composer ( https://www.screencast.com/t/sqDfb18UaqP ) or you can click on the page and after is open click the button TAGDIV Composer ( https://www.screencast.com/t/4iZR8xcZb5 ).

Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer to your setup page. I got it working by installing the DEMO with content. Then I had to delete all the posts added, media added, and all categories. But my users were notified of the new posts that were added by installing the DEMO. That’s sad!
There should be a solution for the problem as discussed above!
Indeed it is as you say, only if you choose install demo with content the homepage will be provided.
Sorry if this is an inconvenience, maybe another demo installation option will be provided in the future. But at the moment there are only these 2 options.
The workaround for that would be to install the demo without content, they copy the homepage content like I mentioned above, from the theme files.
