Unfortunately, we do not have any bad reports in this case with our theme. You should remove all of the untested plugins which can interfere with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Clear all the caches and check the results. Please keep in mind that our theme comes without any kind of malware or virus if it was downloaded from the official platform – Envato Market – Theme Forest. Most likely, you have encountered such a malware or virus from another software or untested plugins which do not come with our theme and that’s why you bring these errors. Try to make a new clean install from scratch to another subdomain and check the results.

Try to disable all of the untested plugins, leave just to active only the bundled plugins of the theme, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, make sure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way. If the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch and check again the results.

I don’t understand why you would come to the conclusion that the theme you have purchased is not the Newspaper theme. Maybe you can explain and provide more details about this, for a better understanding.

After updating Newspaper to 8.2 and Visual Composer (WPBakery Page Builder) to 5.4.4 I’m experiencing some issues with the plugin.
E.g. of issues:
– Not able to add elements
– Button icons are not displayed (e.g. edit row, copy etc.)
– X icon/button not showing when trying to add elements
I have tried to:
– delete and re-install the plugin
– install older version of plugin
Nothing worked.

Please make sure that you have installed the latest theme version from Theme Forest via FTP way because this is the surest theme method in this case. We do not have any bad reports regarding on API YouTube and weather widget. All of these should work as expected in the latest version. Clear all the caches and check the results. You can provide your website URL for more investigations if the problem will be there after this advice.

I tried to renew the Visual Composer plugin as instructed (add new plugin from the theme’s plugin folder), but ever since my website shows this error (see below). If I uninstall the plugin, the website works, but of course its styling is messy. Please help 🙁

The page seems to be loaded, but something in the background is causing a delay. Check with the browser inspector if there are any errors present. Additionally try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins, and clear all caching installed.
Then repeat the test and see if the issue is still happening.

I installed Newspaper and made some changes to optimize as much as possible the site, but now i can see that the site does not charge on my computer. It says that the site is not accessible while, when i check from my mobile, i can visit it normally.

Install only the ‘theme’ folder and not the ‘all files’ zip.
Unfortunately, I bought NewsPaper theme Instead of other themes I was looking for. After installing it, I get to know, the theme I installed is not the one I thought to purchase it on Black Friday deal. So, can you guys consider this and give my money back? Please?
It says “Missing Stylesheet style.css.”
I’ve installed the theme but am told I have to install the tagDiv Composer plug in.
When I do this I get a looping issue saying: Download failed. cURL error 7: couldn’t connect to host
I’m told by my hosting support that the only way around this is to install via ftp but I don’t know where to download the plugin.

I have an issue with getting the lightbox effect for images on my page.
I already followed the steps described in the following tutorial : https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-window/
However, when I click on the image, instead of it doing the lightbox effect, the image simply opens up (the image’s url being shown in the address bar: wp-content/uploads/…/image.jpg) and I have to click the browser’s back button to return to the website.
I have no incompatible plugins installed.

Was extremely happy with the Newspaper theme until I was told that a very important feature of my website was not possible.
On my website blockchainorigins.com, I want to create a video playlist that will feature many videos from one channel. I used a 3rd party plugin – WP RSS Aggregator Feed to Post – to automatically pull many videos from one youtube channel and then feed those videos to the Newspaper Youtube Playlist block. However, when I tried this, it did not work (it worked only when I pulled news articles from different sources and fed them into the regular post blocks).
I contacted Tagdiv and asked for support, but was told that I had to manually put in each video id separated by commas. This didn’t make sense to me given that this was a “newspaper” theme – it seems like a no brainer that a news site with a section dedicated to featured videos would be able to pull in many videos at once from a youtube channel. This just didn’t logically make sense to me, so in order to figure out why this did not work, I contacted WP RSS aggregator. This was their reply:
“In that case, since this issue is related to your theme setting, it would be best to also contact your theme developer and asked their advice how to show the video in the place you’d like to.
In most cases, a theme usually makes use of a custom field or post meta to store a video or YouTube link which will then be displayed according to the theme functionality.
When importing from YouTube, Feed to Post stored a couple of information from a feed item in the imported post’ custom fields. One of them is the ‘wprss_item_permalink’ key which stores the original YouTube video permalink.
If you can get the post meta or the custom field that your theme use to display the video, you can then make use of this filter to map or copy the value from ‘wprss_item_permalink’ to your theme post meta key automatically when the import process takes place.
However, this will be possible to happen if your theme works as in this way. So again, please confirm with your theme developer what’s the best way to get this issue resolved.

I have been trying for a week now to figure out how to overcome this and see if I can install other plugins that might help. However, I have not been able to successfully import a lot of videos all at once from one channel. It seems unintuitive that a news theme would make it manual for a a video playlist to have each video id inserted one by one. This means that if I had 100 videos, I would have to insert each video id one by one.
Tagdiv, I’m a big fan of your theme, but please let me know if you have a possible solution to this, or if you know of any use cases where other customers incorporated some 3rd party plugin that will workaround the manual video id insertion. Really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!
