We have several websites hosted on the same AWS and protected by Cloudflare and Sucuri. All three websites are on the Newspaper theme.
One year ago, only these three sites got hacked. We got Sucuri to remove the malware – who pointed at that time to a potential theme issue.
Yesterday, we got hacked again – the same three sites running on the same theme.
Sucuri points again here (wp_options.option_value, option_name=td_live_css_local_storage)

Hello christianmuda, according to your screenshot I think that you have an extra plugin that is interfering with the theme row. Do you use the WP Bakery/Js Composer plugin? Because this is interfering with cloud templates. If you have extra plugins, please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and see if the problem persist.

The cloud template has support for taxonomies, but you need to assign the taxonomies to a custom post type, not posts, to have it -> https://i.imgur.com/hruQ0lG.png This is added to our list, but I don’t know when it will be fixed.

If I understand this properly, it sounds like TagDiv does not support cloud templates for custom taxonomies on WordPress posts? What you suggest requires a complete restructure of our data which translates into thousands of dollars of development time.
Are there any plans to add support for custom post taxonomies? Or any way we can help convince your developers to add this support? 🙂

It is free, but you can use another app or whatever you want if you want to be helped.
Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.
The AMP version works best with default templates and not cloud templates. That’s why we integrated it with the Mobile theme plugin.
The feedback from our clients about AMP was negative and it is not used anymore, that’s why we didn’t add more customization options. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP.
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
I do not know exactly about which issue you are talking about. But I hope all these links(they are working, just copy-paste them manually in another tab) are helping you solve your issues.

The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to use the cloud templates, then you need to disable the mobile theme and AMP plugins, and then use the responsive version.

Please create a new CPT and assign the taxonomies for it. If you set the taxonomies for posts, it will not appear to set a cloud template.

Hi TagDiv team. On our site – https://biztimes.com/ – we have added to custom taxonomies for normal WordPress posts — the taxonomies are Companies and People as you can see in the screenshot. We want to create a cloud template for these taxonomies terms … e.g. a “Company” template and a “People” template. Kind of like we’d create a cloud template for Tags, Authors and Categories.
However, when we look at the Cloud Templates section in the WP Admin, we don’t see anything listed for Companies and People under either the General > WordPress Templates section, nor in the CPT/Taxonomies > Custom Taxonomies section. See other screenshots.
Why can’t we see Company and People to define cloud templates for those items? How can we do this? Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes, when I used the standard post style I did it like this through the child theme. When we migrated to the cloud template, we tried to call the excerpt by creating shortcode in functions.php, linking this shortcode to a raw box element or text box element by the tagDiv Composer in the single template. But that didn’t work for us. If you have any tips to make this work through some adjustment, it would be a welcome solution and will help us a lot. In any case, I ask that Newspeper be able to add an excerpt element in the future. It will be a gift for us!

How can I do that?
I find another… unofficial way to edit homepage thru Cloud Templates – Homepage Templates – and select Prebuild Template that I like and edit from there with Composer, and but I don’t know how to import that modifications in prebuild demo…it is possible? One possibility is, after I make modifications I like in that metod, edit de prebuild demo, and, somehow, step by step, apply them from prebuild template to prebuild demo… I know, it is weird and complicated… well, yeah…
If it is another simple possibility please tell me.

Please provide more details about what issues you have when you update the theme.
My recommendation is that before updating the theme to make a full backup for the database and current website, disbale the extra plugins during the update process, after that update the theme manually – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (after the theme update, make sure that the needed plugins are installed, like tagDiv Composer, maybe tagDiv Standard Pack and tagDiv Cloud Library).
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/

When you import a prebuilt website, this will apply to the entire website, including the homepage. You can import only the cloud templates from Cloud Library and design them after you can apply them.

Hi, I am modifying single templates in cloud templates. The single post template is using Default RTL PRO, but I have a question. When I go to my site, I see the blue circled Related part, and I want to delete it, but when I go to Edit with TD Composer, I don’t see the Related screen and I can’t delete it. I want to get rid of the blue circled part and I would appreciate if you can tell me how to do it.
Trying to set a global header up using the cloud templates. We have been using the theme Headers styles and that has been working fine. But we see that id we upgrade to the latest version of Newspaper, those options are going away.
I have created a new cloud header to use as our “Global” option. However our ads which pull from Google Ad Manager will not serve into the mobile area. Not sure what is causing the conflict since the ads all run just fine now on lodgingmagazine.com. I tried to use the same “Header” ad as the source. Leaderboards show fine, but when you go down to mobile, we get nothing. When I turn the ad space on in the mobile, the other bigger ad areas disappear.
Not sure what is going on.

You use a mobile page with that name, so of course the URL will display another name (of the template).
Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.

If you want there are solutions that can be used to display the excerpt in a post, even if there is no option for this. In case that you are using a standard post style from tagDiv Composer, then you need to edit a post style- https://i.imgur.com/lwSWJrj.png that you use and call for the excerpt to be included in the post (also, those changes can be set in a child theme). Now if you are using a cloud template then it will be more complicate, but it can be done (for this will be need a custom function to add an extra shortcode or to read the excerpt filed and display it in a custom filed element).

Hi, I edited the cloud “Single Post Template – Magazine PRO” as my “Single Template”, I want to use my edited template also as a base for “Page template”, “Author Template” and “Category Template”.

With the last update, they started to remove different template options. Forcing us to move to using the cloud stuff.
