Hi,
My site went down. The Pagely tech support said that it was due to Visual Composer. (Even though we’ve been using your theme and Visual Composer for years with no problem)
They restored a backup from a couple of days ago and all was fine until I updated the Newspaper theme. Then the site went down again. (until he once more restored a backup)
I’m thinking that the issue has to do with the Visual Composer update within the updated theme. Thoughts?
Could you please help me with this so that I can update the theme without the site crashing? Thank you!
Hi,
Did this issue just started to appear? Did you maybe install a plugin just before? Deactivate all your plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active.
Please also review the theme requirements a first, make sure there are enough resources

If no changes are needed, try these suggestions
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
These worked for many users with composer issues. If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login ans well as cPanel if possible. We will take a look.
Thanks
Hi,
At the moment and with the current theme settings that is not possible, once a menu is set for the header it will be displayed on the whole website.
For now the category templates can be designed with the tagDiv composer but the menu will be the same as the rest of the website. Maybe there will be changes in this matter in the future.
I visited my site to fins all pages built with the tagdiv composer to be HTML code. I alos notice when I go to edit a page, i no longer have the option the “edit with tagdiv composer” listed. This is truly embarrassing HELP!!!

Hi Catalin,
Once again thank you for you answer. The website is: https://www.gamebruh.com. When you scroll down on the homepage, you wil see the newsblock. And here is a picture of how the element>filter settings look in TD Composer atm: https://ibb.co/nFDaE8
I’ve updated everything to the latest version. I am happy to provide additional information or screenshots if needed!
Thanks again!
Hi guys
Just bought newspaper and loving tagdiv composer! I’m having some trouble with one of the blocks, namely block 1. When I drag it in it only spans 8 of the 12 cols (checked in the inspector). Most of the other blocks appear to go over all 12 with no problem.
What could I be doing wrong here?
Dear Team, facing an issue none of the pages are getting saved when using the Tdcomposer – the save the page continues to rotate but the page doesn’t get saved.
All other normal posts and pages are getting updated on my website candytech.in. Also, I have the latest version of the theme – I am not able to change anything on the homepage or the tag div pages.
Also getting this error sometimes on these pages – changeData Error: Element model id is not in $draggedElement data!
Dear Simion C – facing a similar issue none of the pages are getting saved when using the Tdcomposer – the save the page continues to rotate but the page doesn’t get saved.
All other normal posts and pages are getting updated on my website candytech.in – I am not able to change anything on the homepage or the tagdiv pages
Hello Catalin.
Thanks for your reply.
It’s not about the translation, I understand it perfectly, it’s the shortcode itself.
Is there shortcode for review title available in the Cloud Library Composer?
Judging from the normal review system, if we break it down, there should be 4 different shortcodes for each element, like this: https://prnt.sc/k4bprl
But based on this screenshot https://prnt.sc/k44nck, we are missing out the review title shortcode as pointed on point #1 on this screenshot https://prnt.sc/k4bprl.
Ideally, there should be 4 different shortcodes available including the review title.
Do I miss something on this?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Glad you are using it, let us know if you have problems with it. We provide some templates designed by our theme, you can import and modify them as you width, or use blank templates and design your own
– http://prntscr.com/k4bfoo
The default post templates, the ones that you used before, they cannot be edited with the composer. But you can now design new templates in any way you want. Apply them for specific posts or in general, same as before. Make tests and experiment with the new features.
Hi,
Our composer does not have a similar element to that. There is a tag cloud widget but that is a simple looking widget it would require additional design.
In our theme tags can be displayed on top of blocks, as a live filtering option. Users can filter the block by the tag they want. This is called the ajax filter, it can show tags as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/sBy6Lfb5adW
The filter may display differently depending on block header style used
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-header-1/
More about block settings here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks
Hi,
Try to re-save the permalinks in WordPress settings, then access an AMP post page on your website. There should be no issue.
Remember to update the theme plugins you are using after each theme update. Only the tagDiv composer and social counter are updated automatically (this process fails sometimes however). After a theme update, check the theme plugins section and manually update the plugins you use, there is an update button now.
Let us know if you still have problems.
Hi,
You are currently using the default WordPress blog homepage, from what I can see. The blog page will display the latest articles, the module used to display the posts can be selected in Theme panel->Template settings->Blog and post template
– https://www.screencast.com/t/OoWyH0DML
The category page module can be selected per category. Search for the category you want and select the module. Example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xhS6lPJixuw
– https://www.screencast.com/t/42kM8xih4
There are many modules to choose from, pick the ones you like.
You can also create a static page with the tagDiv composer, set that as homepage
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
If the posts have no featured image set, a default placeholder will be displayed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
@havardkrislok You can design post templates as you wish now, with the introduction of the Cloud library plugin the tagDiv composer can now be used to design post templates
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
We provide some predefined post templates (these can be edited by you), or you can design your own from scratch

Hi,
This is the site we working on: http://202.153.39.93/ayati/
After making changes in the TD composer, when we click on the save icon on top left, the icon just keeps revolving and no changes are saved. Is this a bug or something else. Please tell us a work around concerning this.
Thanks
Hello all,
Notice that the latest version of Visual Composer which is tested with our theme and which is included in theme’s packet is Newspaper 5.5.1.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The default footer templates have a maximum of 3 columns. To achieve a 4 column layout you will have to create a page with the elements you want and also the layout you want. The tagDiv composer allows a 4 column split. Then set that page as footer page
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7zxKdeNoA8aS
Example of some demos that use footer pages
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_showcase/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_law_firm/
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_dentist/
Thanks
Hi,
It would be if you include the form in a post template. Design the template as you want with the Cloud library plugin and the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Include the contact form in the template, then apply the template to the posts you want. The contact form shortcode can be entered in a columns text for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/SA0G6t7iXwY
Thanks
Hello gioga,
You should customize it from TD Composer and add the ID you want for your desired section, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/wJerrdcG2 This is such a simple example.
Thanks.
Hello sk_rocks,
Unfortunately, the image gallery is available only for single posts and not from Homepage. If you want to create such a gallery to your homepage, try using the Visual Composer, Image Gallery element, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ezlAUrE3C
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello karlrosqvist,
Why did not use the TD Composer element like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/VUPglXKIo2BT
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The first thing to check would be the theme requirements, system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified.
If there is no need for modifications in that matter, in some cases the solutions from these topics worked for blank or grey pages and other composer problems, you could give them a try if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/javascript-error-td-composer-wont-load/
Let us know if there still is a problem, or if you fixed the problem.
Thanks

On making a new post template using Cloud Library, I notice that there are shortcodes for review system.
But there are only Review Overview, Review Overall, and Review Summary. The Review Title is missing.
Like this: https://prnt.sc/k44nck
Although I managed to make a custom title for the review using Title shortcode, but in the output, the Title shortcode ofcourse appears in all posts (using the Cloud Library Template) including posts without review.
Review post: https://prnt.sc/k44p01
Post without review: https://prnt.sc/k44pa2
Is there any other way to create a custom title on TD Cloud Library that can fix my problem above?
Or it might be a good idea if you also make Review Title available in the TD Cloud Library Composer in the upcoming update.
Thanks in advance.
