Hi, I have an issue with the TagDiv composer. After the theme update, when I click tagdiv composer in the “page” section, the page shows “502 Bad Gateway, nginx”.
I have updated the theme from Elevanto Market last week; I delayted and reinstalled the TagDivComposer, the version is 2.2. I have not coding skills. What can I do? Thanks in advance

From what I can see you are using a blog style front page at the moment with module 15 selected. If you want to keep the default WordPress blog (latest articles list) and change the module, you can do that in the Theme panel->Template settings

Module 15 will display the whole contents of the posts when selected for the blog style homepage.
Alternatively you can build a page with the tagDiv composer (or WPBakery page builder) and set it as homepage

Choose one page builder and deactivate the other, when both are active there could be issues. So if you use the tagDiv composer for example, deactivate the WPBakery plugin.

The blocks and grids for example will still be displayed on pages, because Visual composer is still active. If you use Visual composer for building pages, please deactivate the tagDiv composer. When both composers are active there could be issues.
The main page builder at the moment is the tagDiv composer, but Visual composer (now WPBakery page builder) is still provided in the theme package as an optional and alternative plugin for users that do not want to use the tagDiv composer.
The Newsletter plugin and also the multi-purpose plugin will work only with the tagDiv composer.
The shortcodes that appear on your homepage at the moment such as the info box element, are multi-purpose, they require the multi-purpose plugin active.
Please decide on a page builder and build pages entirely with it. Do not edit pages with both the composers, this will lead to problems.

Hi,
I noticed the social counters had disappeared from the back end so I updated to Newspaper 8.7. None of the plugins would install, I kept getting an error message about ‘no valid headers’, so I installed manually via FTP. They installed successfully but the site now was just showing a blank white screen on every page. I tried removing the visual composer plugin and then reinstalling it and removing the TagDiv’s Composer plugin and reinstalling that but nothing will work.
I’ve been working on it now for about 6 hours and I’ve just had to reboot my site back a week to get it working. It is now on Newspaper 8.5 and the social counters appears on every page but the homepage. I’m really confused.
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do?

I know about smart sidebar! What i need it’s a way to have sticky widget with widgetized elements in a page created with Visual composer or TagDiv composer or another valid option for me is a way to create blocks inside a page without visual or tagdiv composer’s code, but everytime i add a block without a row from that constructors, the elements of the block appears without order and always vertical, very very ugly desing…
I understand everything you are saying. I use Newspaper on another site and multi-purpose works great. It is installed MP on my site I mentioned above but none of the shortcodes are showing up in the front end TD page builder. Theme is up to date, TD Composer installed and so is Multi Purpose. Like I said, I uninstalled and re-installed everything and even deactivated plugins one by one. Why would the shortcodes not be showing up in the “Add Element” area?
I changed the color of those using the tagdiv composer. In tagdiv composer go to the block color you want to change and hover over it. Click elements and the color changer will popup on the left.
Here are the screenshots that will explain everything.
I tried updating to the latest version, still the same. I tried rolling back to the previous version of WordPress and the Theme itself, still the same.
Done this two times, the first updating throw WP and the second by FTP.
Have also reuploaded via FTP the visual composer.
After update, I only see the header (mega menu not working) and nothing from the home page. If I get into an article, images are lost.

The option to customize the font properties for each module in the composer has been introduced in a previous update

Everything is working except for the Tag Div Composer, which has happened in the past after updates of the Newspaper theme.
Hi! Since it’s impossible to attach smart sidebars to pages created with visual constructors, it’s neccesary to have a way to have sticky widgets in our pages. There are some way to get this?
Or.. another option is… if you can tell me how can i attach correctly the blocks without having columns created with visual constructors, it will be valid also because when i attach block’s shortcodes to a page without columns created that blocks doesn’t have a correct position.

I would suggest to first deactivate all plugins except theme plugins and clear all caching. Try the composer on a new page and see if this still happens. Check the theme system status section

If needed ask your hosting provider to increase the parameters mentioned in the guide, especially the WP memory.
Also try deactivating and removing the composer plugin, and install it again from the theme plugins section

I have the same problem. Instagram works only with this slash (which then shows up in the displayed username). I still use Visual Composer (now known als WPBakery Page Builder), not the new tagdiv Composer. Perhaps that’s the reason for still having this problem? Cleared cache after every adjustment / Newspaper 8.7.3. With slash all pics and followers are shown, without 0 followers, 0 pictures.

You can only stretch pages (built with the tagdiv composer) but not posts. Just open a page with tagdiv composer and then click on a block or an empty row (that you can add if it is a new page you’re creating). Where you see row>column on the left (like this https://prnt.sc/j8pytg for example) click on the ‘row’ option. Then scroll down until you see “row stretch” and select your preferred setting from there.

Okay, now back to the original problem, this black frame in the block header is always there without the css code, (https://www.dropbox.com/s/w04isdins4obt74/Screenshot%20%28211%29_LI. jpg? dl = 0) with the TD composer I can only change the outside colors, but black is always there, it can not be the solution with the CSS code …. I have now taken out the CSS code so you do it yourself you can watch. With the CSS solution I’m not happy, I also like the recommended, Theme reinstalled, Child Theme new. Cache emptied, settings reset, it did not help anything. Here again the website: Catrelax.de
