Hello,
Unfortunately you cannot use visual composer on category pages. You could redirect your categories to pages either by a redirect plugin or by creating a 301 redirect in your .htaccess
Thank you!
Hello
I changed role manager setting for subscribers and visual composer view disappeared.
Regarding contact form, I noticed that it has disappeared too, I don´t know exactly the reason because I didn´t change anything, but it´s what I wanted.
Thanks
How do I use the Visual Composer category page? Or, how can I direct the category page to a regular page?
Can I do this?
Hi
I’ve tested the general modal image on my side with the latest theme’s version available on themeforest, V 2.3.4, and works fine. Please make sure that the link for the image goes to media file: http://screencast.com/t/YHiCovhQta deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
Thanks!
Hello Lars.
Unfortunately as the plugin is not tested to work with our theme we have no idea on the plugin functionality. The tested form plugin is contact form 7. Any other form plugin we cannot guarantee to work 100% and we cannot offer plugin implementation support. In a quick search through our forum i see users that have gravity form and use it successfully. You can try to see if there is no conflict with another plugin. You can try to disable all other plugins except visual composer and gravity forum and see if it works. IT seems that Gravity Forms Auto Placeholders plugin is causing problems and we have reports here on the forum of speedbooster causing gravity forms to disappear. Try it out and see how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello harryst,
Please ensure you have followed the correct steps to add the slide and also, please make sure you have filtered this slide by existing category with posts in your site. An example -> http://screencast.com/t/QhsQrGEflZl
I’ve tested on my side and everything seems to work properly. Please ensure that you do not have plugins in conflict. After this advice, if your slide still does not work, please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and try it again and rule out the conflict plugins.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hello,
In order to remove the tagdiv url from the social counter, you need to edit every page the social counter is specified. I assume you installed the demo content. Every page the social counter appears on must be edited and the social id’s changed. Or you can simply remove the element and add it again in visual composer.
Please follow this topic to see how to set up the social counter: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/
For other social buttons except the social counter, you will need to edit add the url’s in the theme panel:http://screencast.com/t/wV5wnJcbZHzx
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hello,
I tested this on my end but could not recreate the issue. Please make sure you have the latest version of the theme and the latest version of visual composer. Then you can try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear cache in order to rule out a plugin conflict.
Let us know if the problem is still there afterwards.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure you use the theme registration http://screencast.com/t/vjTvAtZk9es and not the wp default one or a plugin related login. Other plugins could conflict with our widget so try it without plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer and check again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you.
Hello Albert,
If you want to restrict the access of Visual Composer panel for some users, you can set it from Visual Composer settings, like this: http://screencast.com/t/tx4K0RmxayKJ and for Contact Form 7 it is more complicated because are required to insert some snippet code in core file to hide the panel for some users. For more information about “How to do this”, please check this topic -> https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-contact-form-7-hide-contact-form-settings-in-admin-panel-for-editors
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Hi,
Check the browser console to see if you have any javascript errors, they appear in red – http://screencast.com/t/wfLNSiRpAdH
Analytics uses javascript and any js errors may break/alter it’s data retrieval process.
If you find errors try to disable all plugins except for Visual Composer and check if the errors are still there. If they are gone enable the rest of the plugins one by one until you find the one which causes this issue.
Once you find it check it’s settings or look for an alternative.
If you don’t find any errors please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com , include a link to this conversation and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn if you use it. It could be a plugin conflict. If the problem is still there, please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look. Also include a link to this topic.
Thank you!
Hi there,
This theme is great – thank you! Loving working with it.
One current issue is that when I add paragraphs in Visual Composer Text Modules, then I save – it’s OK. Then I go back and edit one of the modules, then all the paragraph spaces in the other text modules on the same page are stripped out.
Here’s an example where all is how I want it,
then here’s what happend to the text after I edit one of the text modules:
The url is at http://www.waihekegulfnews.co.nz/wp/
It’s a new work in progress. Please can you help make the paragraph spaces stay after editing.
Thanks.
Hope this will explain. I’m inserting a row element from the visual composer in all the posts using ad inserter plugin. The code is given here
[vc_row equal_height="yes" content_placement="middle"][vc_column width="1/2"][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_3" spot_title="Advertisement"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2" offset="vc_hidden-xs"][vc_wp_posts number="4"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
It shows the result like this

How to add the custom CSS to this particular row that occurs in all the posts. For example how to set the margins for this row. I tried the code given below but this did not show any changes.
[vc_row equal_height="yes" content_placement="middle" css=".vc_custom_1451362361094{margin-top: 15px !important;margin-bottom: 15px !important;}"][vc_column width="1/2"][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_3" spot_title="Advertisement"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2" offset="vc_hidden-xs"][vc_wp_posts number="4"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
Thank you for the reply.

Thanks, Catalin –
I get that part. However I need a static front page, so have my site set up that way. Take a look at: http://www.utahsafehaven.com
If one would click on a selection from the top menu, I’ve been able to add additional ad blocks to the page the menu points to, as well as edit the bottom footer for another banner “ad.”
However, when one clicks on an individual post, those additional ads disappear. How to edit the post template to look like one of the menu “homepage” templates? Is that possible via the Visual Composer? Do I have to create a whole new template? If so, how to point the posts to that template?
In the meantime, where am I able to change the footer ad on the post template?
Thanks for your help. LOVE the theme!
Hello
I would like to know how to hide visual composer and contact form 7 plugin view from user panel. I refer to registered users when they access to their profile. I notice that they appear and I don´t like to give these irrelevant information to them, just editing their profile tab.
Thanks
Hello,
1) The woocommerce shop page has no title by default. (If you use the default shop page)
You can create your own shop page in visual composer and add elements to it and set a title and then set it as your shop page from the woocommerce plugin: http://screencast.com/t/XfOLJ9hfdMYQ
2) I cannot know for sure how you want the formating to be on your product page.
You can use css to style the titles:
.single-product .product_title {
font-size: 14px!important;
line-height: 20px!important;
}
You can use another css code for the prices:
.single-product .product_title {
font-size: 14px!important;
line-height: 20px!important;
}
.single-product .product .summary .price {
font-size: 14px!important;
}
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello Jean-Paul,
If you want to use the Visual Composer in your header, it is neccesary to use do_shortcode from the generated code of the Visual Composer. You have to insert this in header_style used by you. (header_style_1, header_style_2, ….).
Below, I gave you an example for header_style_1 and I added a text block in this kind of header with Visual Composer. You have to follow these steps for any header style used by you – http://screencast.com/t/6gTYtbdo
Useful screenshots -> http://screencast.com/t/y1sREKfU – http://screencast.com/t/IcFTzoWYJ
Also, you have to make a different class with this shortcode because you will to need of this because are required to do some customisation using Custom CSS to give a better look.
<?php echo do_shortcode('enter visual composer element here');?>
The result you should see here: http://screencast.com/t/RSzP7Xol
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi
The current version of Visual Composer plugin available with the theme, V 4.9, is tested and works fine with the theme. Please make sure that you updated the theme and the Visual Composer plugin according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Also make sure that you empty all caches, deactivate all others plugins except Visual Composer and test again. You also can try to make a new local install on your computer, with the latest version of WordPress, the theme and Visual Composer, then check if the problem persist.
If you still can’t manage to solve this issue please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!
There is a note (Sidebar position/Custom sidebar):
The settings from this box only work if you do not use visual composer on this template. The template detects if visual composer is used and it removes the title and sidebars if that’s the case.
Is that the reason and what can I do???
Hello @blackgold, @sailingchance,
I’ve checked on my side this tested plugin and everything seems to work properly and the sidebar too.
Please ensure that do not exist plugins in conflict. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and try it again. It is possible to use some miscellaneous untested plugins which cause a lot of errors in our theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hi!
I have seen that script too late. So I rebuilt the sides and I have rebuilt the widgets. Inactive widgets deleted.
Now I have even made an extra page for try out with a new custom sidebar (new widget).
If I want to change than the sidebar in this try-out-page, there is always the first sidebar, another sidebar (although it is there) has no function.
The sidebar position can be changed but I can not change to another sidebar, no matter what I do.
The same bug is with all other other pages. No possibility to switch to another sidebar.
WordPress 4.4, Newspaper 6.6.3, Visual Composer 4.9.1.
Thank you very much!
Hi
I have test this on my side and the comments are displayed fine: http://screencast.com/t/yXSBAiF6q I am not sure why they aren’t displayed fine on your site but you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.
If you still can’t manage to solve this issue please provide your site url so we can inspect this closer.
Thanks!

Hello ismailblogger,
Please ensure that you have disabled all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme…this kind of problem seems to come from plugins conflict and, therefore it is very important to follow these steps to rule out a conflict plugins. If your problem is still there, after this changes, please provide your URL website so I can further inspect the issue.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
