You need to edit with tagDiv Composer the cloud templates and filter the blocks using the special filters – https://i.imgur.com/DsH6z7z.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/p1euL6c.pnghttps://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

Hello,

Please note that we try to answer as many topics as possible (support hours (GMT+2) are from Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/ The support hours may be affected by our nation’s legal holidays.
For the menu, you can assign a new menu in the mobile menu https://i.imgur.com/wQd1eIu.png for the mobile version. You need to assign the menu with tagDiv Composer -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/

Thank you!

Hello,

I checked and now this is the mobile version -> https://i.imgur.com/YUOGFtL.png
if you have created a mobile page, then please check if your plugin for cache has an option for the mobile version.

Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edited with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

Hi Meytar Zeevi,
“When I deactivated tagdiv-composer website went back to normal in terms of speed.” this is because the Newspaper theme without the tagDiv Composer plugin is like a default WordPress theme. The tagDiv Composer is the one that brings all the features.
It will be needed to find the root of the problem. Do you use the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin? If yes, please do a test and disable that plugin.
Thank you!

Hello, I’m trying to run shortcodes and PHP code through a raw HTML box so that I can load my Ad Manager (GAM) ads with the Advanced Ads Pro plugin. However, the Tagdiv Composer doesn’t execute either the shortcode or the PHP code.

In the first screenshot, you can see that the Tagdiv Manager has commented out the PHP code.

Hi I am attempting to use this theme and when not logged in it doesn’t look right or work.

This is on desktop.
What Logged out sees: Wrong site
What logged in sees: Correct version of home page

Hello
Thanks for resolving the fatal error issue last night.

It seems to have created another issue.

Now on the same directory post page, the template option that is normally on the top Tag Div Composer menu is not appearing so I cant select the template I was using (as a result all of the custom fields on the page say – sample data)

I tried loading a template from the tag div menu on the left and accessing the cloud library but neither will load.

This is currently only impacting this specific page (when clicking for the directory listings in to a result.

Here is fine and template selection (top menu) /cloud/ load template works properly :https://theledger.whatchacatchin.com/directory/

Here is where the issue persists: https://theledger.whatchacatchin.com/directory/pacific-pearl/

I have a few other directories that are all operating properly – it is only this page where the previous issue was resolved that has the problem.
Can you please lend a hand?
thx

Yesterday, without updating anything, the website I manage stopped working. After analyzing all possible causes I have detected what happens when activating TagDiv Standard Pack and TagDiv Composer (with everything else deactivated) the page stops working well, even showing 503 errors.

I have tried to update everything, I have raised the php levels to the maximum, I have checked that there is no RAM saturation… and none of these are the cause.

Could you give me a hand? The website is https://wololosound.com

Hello @forcenews !

Edit the page with the TagDiv Composer and make sure the column is sticky and no elements are overlayed.

Thank you!

Bettina

Hello!

Edit the page with the TagDiv Composer, click on that row and you can add a padding in the CSS tab.

Thank you!

Hello. Can you help me, how to reduce .tdc-row.td-stretch-content, .tdc-row-composer.td-stretch-content padding from 20px to 10px with td-composer. Check the screenshot video https://www.screencast.com/t/X9hd2AkMLQ

I can make it throught css, but i prefer to make it throught td-composer

@media (max-width: 767px)
.tdc-row.td-stretch-content, .tdc-row-composer.td-stretch-content {
padding-left: 20px;
padding-right: 20px;
}

to

@media (max-width: 767px)
.tdc-row.td-stretch-content, .tdc-row-composer.td-stretch-content {
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
}

Thank you

hi Guys,

We are building a new site at the moment, any time I open the customiser I get the error below.

This happens even when all plugins are deactivated except tagDiv Composer and using Twentytwentythree theme. Any idea what could be happening?

Hello Alex!

It shouldn’t. We do not have this option in our theme. But, can be influenced by an extra plugin settings. Try to deactivate and activate the theme and execute the steps:
1. deactivate TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall (delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if a cache plugin is present).
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if a cache plugin is present).

Clear the cache and let me know the results!

Thank you!

Hello @dlicoppe !

You can hide one element on desktop and unhide it on mobile, for example. Every element in the TagDiv Composer has a setting to make it invisible. This setting can be seen in the CSS tab of every element: [Display: HIDDEN]. You can also hide the entire row.
If you can’t find an element after you have hidden it on every viewport, check this thread for the solution: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cssdisplay-show-or-hidden/

Thank you!

Hello,
1. If you are using a single post template, then it is possible to have a plugin conflict, please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and see if the problem persists.
2. I think that you are referring to “Edit with tagDiv Composer”, the theme builder can be used on pages and cloud templates, but not on post page – https://i.imgur.com/AzUB2iq.png
3. If I’m right you are referring to this one – https://i.imgur.com/oX8jw8l.png this will be displayed only on pages.
Thank you!

Hello,

1. Please make sure that you have set it global, or if you have an individual template for each author, then you can set an individual author template for the users that have the role (administrator, editor, and author) from Theme Panel -> Template Settings -> Author Template => https://i.imgur.com/zwNB4y0.png
2. If this is from a plugin, then a shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with the title”.
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer, and view the page to see the changes.
3. Our theme has an element for the gallery, but I think it doesn’t work as you want. You can try it.

Thank you!

Hi,

By default the rows from the composer have 1068px in width, that is the default setting https://i.imgur.com/uuwcpFo.png

Then rows can be stretched if needed, to the provided values. I assume that by decreasing the margins of the page you mean increasing the width of the content. This will indeed reduce the margins, as the content is larger. So you could stretch the rows in the page.

If you want a width value that is not available for selecting, stretch the rows to full and set your desired value here https://i.imgur.com/MDgzWje.png Every row, column, or element from the composer has a width setting in the CSS tab, also margins and padding can be set there if needed. It depends on what exactly you want to achieve in the page.
If you want to make the layout full width, then to change the website width, you need to make sure that you don’t have set a background color/image in the Theme Panel because this makes your website boxed. Make sure this option is disabled => https://www.screencast.com/t/ejiNPCBF
To set a page to full width, you’ll need to edit it with tagDiv Composer like this -> https://i.imgur.com/i5IUJ9E.jpg add or select a row and stretch it after your needs -> https://i.imgur.com/WKYebPX.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/TO1BZ3M.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Yq8UCv3.jpg

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,
Okay I got it. It works.
Now, how or where can I edit how it appears? It looks like a flying logo+menu.
Where can I add border?
I can select the element (logo or menu) into the tagdiv composer, then css and add border, switch color. Okay, but it affects the header state.
When scrolled and sticky, it don’t.

Sorry again but I’m learning.
Thanks!

Hi,

If you don’t see the button edit with tagDiv composer in the top bar, then please check if you have this option enabled in the jetpack plugin, please disable it -> https://i.imgur.com/VFb1Oj7.png https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/

Hello @dlicoppe !

Access the homepage in every language; edit it with the TagDiv Composer so you can have access to the header. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements.

Thank you!
