Environment:
1. “Lazy Video on Mobile” in theme panel is enabled, as required for speed.
2. “Also aggregate inline CSS?” in Autoptimize settings is enabled, as required for speed, per your guide.
Result/Issue: The video thumbnail is not properly loaded. It is loaded in a full image width – much wide than the view port. Screenshot
When “Also aggregate inline CSS” is disabled, it loads fine. However, disabling this option causes other speed issues, including large dom size.
– How to use “Lazy Video on Mobile” and “Also aggregate inline CSS?” both enabled, so it works for speed as advertised?

I’m encountering a problem with my website (History prebuilt website), I guess that’s an amateur’s question…
It was running fine on my staging website then I backed it up and restored it to my new domain, but there it doesn’t work well.
Woocommerce / Woopayment / Jetpack were staying in safe mode with no way to transfer or create new site, then I had to uninstall them.
– Magazine’s page doesn’t existe anymore
– TD Composer systematically returns this error when I try to edit anything :
“Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
I understand that the old website URL must still be set somewhere and cause problems ; could you please help me ?

When the problem happened I tried twice using “autoupdate” (ajax error installing the plugin Composer), then I tried downloading everything through “themeforest” and the “Composer” and “Cloud Library” plugins did not install, it showed an error.
I went back to the previous version.
The next day, I tried again using “autoupdate” and it worked.

Hello, before 3 months we have install this skin, but we decide to install newspaper again.
we try it but we have huge issues.
We need to clean our blog like we have never use this theme bofore, because now we thry to install it again, and doeant work right.

We recently installed a plug-in to share our articles on social media, we need it since we are a news website and share about 30 articles a day, but the only way we can make it work correctly is by using the excerpt when it shares on social media.
By manually adding an excerpt, the text that appears on the block on our page changes, and we would like to use shorter and less explicative text on social media, which will result in the text showed on the webpage not fitting with our likes.
On short, is there a way that the TagDiv blocks use anything else than excerpt to display on webpage?
I will also atach some printscreens so it would be easier to understand.
In the printscreens you will see how it appears on our website, and how we would want the description to be on facebook.

I just updated it – I tried again through the dashboard as usual, and it worked without any issues, without needing to deactivate or delete the tagdiv composer plugin first. So, since it worked, I didn’t need to install it via FTP, well, I’m grateful it wasn’t so troublesome, but thanks for the information, @soaresrey.

@Youngman, Yes, you can install the new version; you can try to do it manually using FTP, but please download the new package theme from ThemeForest.

Do you have a child theme? If yes, please use the main theme.
Also, please execute these steps:
1. disable tagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) tagDiv Composer
3. install tagDiv Composer
4. activate tagDiv Composer

Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

I have attached an image of what is happening after updating to 12.6.4
Broken header – again. I have disabled security optimizer lock and protect and it still will not update my header image.
It made my menu bold for some reason, disregarding my font choices.
Also deleted my IG footer entirely.

I accidentally noticed that in the mobile version of the site there is a redirect to someone else’s site. I double-checked all the plugins and the site. I found that when I disable the tagDiv Composer plugin, this problem disappears. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. Still the problem has not been solved. I have encountered a problem regarding the mobile menu. When I installed the site correctly, the menu works fine on the laptop version. However, when I switch to the mobile version and navigate through the pages, I cannot find the content. Only the page title is displayed, but the content, including images and text, is missing. Same problem with my upgrade.
First the theme install it nicely.
And when it come to the 4 plugin we add AJAX problem for each.
After that our dedicated server was overloaded and all sites on it were inreachable.
Our dev had to restart the MySQL.
After that, I could install and active the plugins.
Hi Ned Donev, from what I understand from you it’s like you still access the prev version of plugin.
Please try update the theme using the theme update option from Newspaper and also install the theme plugins from > Newspaper > plugins.
Also if there is no possibility to provide cPanel access, is fine, using wp-admin for the website it’s ok, but it will be need to use a previous version of the theme.

I resorted to installing the plugins manually (tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library) by downloading the new version of the theme from themeforest and then uploading the two plugins via ftp.
The problem is that the moment I try to activate them, the entire server becomes unusable due to excessive CPU load.
By the way, a week ago the same thing happened with the woocommerce plugin and I downgraded it.
The problem with this update with the Newspyper theme is that the moment the two plugins start to be updated, the whole server goes out of control and I have to restart it. The site can’t work and can’t be fixed unless I delete all the files and install the backup files.
Here are the server configuration details
Apache version 2.4.57
MariaDB version 10.11.4
Unfortunately, I’m using the free version of Virtualmin – Open Source Web Hosting Control Panel – on my personal server and I don’t have the option to create additional users and passwords for my hosting accounts.
That’s why I can’t give you access to the file folder.
I hope one of the other users will give you the access you need and the problem will be resolved soon.
Until we figure out exactly what the problem is, I’m sticking with the old version of the theme, with which everything works as it should.

For users that wants to make the theme update and before have problems now will be ok.

For users that already have the newspaper v12.6.4 all that needs to do is to disable the tagDiv Composer, delete it and reinstall the plugin from Newspaper > plugins.
