Hello kenny30,
I have checked your website and I saw that you have a js error in your console and also, you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello anglodb,
You should re-install the latest version of the theme via FTP way, use only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. I suggest you install the theme again via this way because this is the surest method in this regard. A bad theme installing can cause this type of issues and that’s why it is very important to make a new fresh install from scratch and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
The problem has been resolved (by installing again the Newspaper files).
Thanks for your time!
Best regards.
Hello,
You can try to debug the error by using this guide:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-are-you-sure-you-want-to-do-this-error-in-wordpress/
or as an alternative you can install the theme via ftp by using this guide and chjoosing the ftp method or the automatic update: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you!
Hello Cstenzinger,
I have checked your website and I saw that you have some errors in your Console and also, you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Please try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Try to revert the theme to a default state, without any additional customization and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello femprez,
You should try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. I do not know what settings you made, sorry! Probably you break the site. Make a full backup to your database and make a new clean install from scratch.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello jmeskunas,
Unfortunately, it seems to be a problem with your database. Probably, this is corrupt. You can try to make a new clean install with another database and you can try to copy and then paste the specific table with your widgets in the new database. Copy them from old database to new database and check the results. Also, you can try to see the following tutorial here -> https://www.maketecheasier.com/fix-corrupted-wordpress-database-2/ and maybe you can save your database. -> https://www.maketecheasier.com/fix-corrupted-wordpress-database-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
If the issue is only on your pc, then you should check for any anti-virus/firewall, update the browser or clear the browser cache/ install a new browser.
If the theme and WP works on another pc then you should check your own pc for issues.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have the same issue with not working Search option in the header menu.
however I have not the W3TC cache plugin installed.
Could you have a look into this please – I went trough all the php’s involved with the search option and all seems to be ok – even when comparing to relevand php codes from a live preview.
I have made no changes to any of the originally downoloaded files so theoretically option should work fine but it doesn’t
Hello
I have checked your website and I saw that you have some errors in your console as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qCnAxWYGiS8 These type of errors could come from your untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of these, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled wit the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP and check the results.

Hello srs,
Please follow this topic for a few possible solutions https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/visual-composer-does-not-have-valid-header/
If you still cannot install it, though, install it manually via FTP. Oddly when WordPress installed via Server panel, there can be some odd permission stuff, and it sometimes can be a headache.
I have checked your website, and I saw the Analytics code at the left top of your site. Check the Google Analytics field and put in between script tag like this <script>your code</script>. Clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks.
As I stated in my original post; I did all of those things. Again, I went ahead and deleted all of the WordPress files and SQL databases. I started fresh today and uploaded all files via FTP, the WordPress installation, the Theme, and the bundled Plugins. I have only WPBakery Visual Composer Activated and I am still having the same exact issue. Newspaper 7.7 is installed. When trying to save the theme panel settings the square just keeps spinning forever…
Again, I have had success with this theme flawlessly using MAMP for a localhost install on my personal computer. This new installation is on a hosting account. We do not have a domain pointing to this account and access it via Virtual Host.
All help is greatly appreciated and thanks for responding so fast!
When trying to install Visual Composer through the Newsmag plugins panel, I got the following message, many times.
Installing Plugin: Visual Composer
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from http://thelearningmind.com/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/plugins/js_composer.zip…
Download failed. cURL error 56: Recv failure: Connection was aborted
Return to tagDiv plugins panel
I started to deactivate 3rd party plugins and kept trying. I still have some activated but this error doesn’t seem to have anything to do with that – it looks like a connection error.
Can you please help asap?
Thank you!
Hello,
I have a custom post type called “events” for e.g selected for the Posts loop settings Post Type to show up a grid of events
That´s great so far. Giving me all events with a pagination.
Now is it possible to have a little filtered navigation on top of that page? As i understand the “Filters for the loop” are only back end part.
Visitors would like to filter through different criteria of the post type like for e.g “custom_date”, “category”, “price” …
Can´t see a way to do this, so i tried to install a 3rd party plugin called “Search % Filter Pro” (http://docs.designsandcode.com/search-filter/). The problem here, when adding this to the page created (mydomain.com/events) filtered selections won´t stay on that page and redirect to category page. instead only updating the grid of data.
I don´t want to use something complex like Essential Grid Plugin or so because i have bad experience with it in the past like bad performance and so on.
Maybe you can help me with it.
thanks
Last year, I closed a partnership with the DINO news site, where a plugin was installed to automatically see their news on http://mobilidadesampa.com.br/noticias-corporativas
But there is the news like this that appears in the link http://mobilidadesampa.com.br/newsdino/?releaseid=108983 that the title appears with red background, the second title appears with the very large letters, the image to illustrate the text Appears small and the right menu does not appear the default menu of my site.
My brother who knows how to change these things I mentioned above does not have the time to fix it and I’m in my hand.
In the settings of this DINO appears the functions that I send the print in the links: https://www.screencast.com/t/WQsaY92YAA
Can you help me change it?
I await your contact.
Hello,
The Style of the block headers if left on default (header 1) it will show the header style aded by the theme demo you have installed. in your case bh1 is this header: https://www.screencast.com/t/X0mNVID8x
It features just a line and a transparent background. It’s the demo style applied to the demo. I have tested BH1 on the default demo and it changes the color without issues but in your case the demo style applies a transparent background to the title.
Bh3 has no issues with background colors or text colors: https://www.screencast.com/t/VVLVEsIPmNp
Thank you!
Hello SmilingSun,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme, installed via FTP way, remove all untested plugins, use only required plugins, clear all your caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
If you have trouble installing the theme, you will have to use the installation guide as shown here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/ or https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thank you!
Hello dap4890,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Check your system status and increase the parameters according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and check the results.

Hello Zack,
I suppose that you are referring to the appearance of a flash/time loading when you enter on your website, right? Firstly is loaded a default font/settings and then will appear your custom font/settings/custom CSS. This behavior appears when you have additional customization through custom CSS code and also, I suppose that you are using the Speed Booster plugin. Please notice that the CSS are working in cascade and the first time will take the code from style.css that is set it by default and then the theme will take the custom code that you have changed from Theme panel and practically this flash is generated by this cause. As a workaround, you have to check your style.css and try to add directly in this file your desired custom code. So, if your problem is still there, please try to revert the theme to the default settings, without any customizations and let us know how it goes. Also, you can try to make a new fresh install from scratch with the latest version of the theme and check the results. Also, please make sure every time you cleared caches. Noticed that the only files where you will have to edit are style.css.
If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
No, the problem is not knowing the operation of the theme, but how to make it work in an environment with cache other than WP Super Cache. Super Cache is a very poor plugin compared to the rest. I have solved it by making some adjustments in CloudFlare and installing WP Rocket, which allows different caches for the desktop and for the mobile. I’ve sacrificed some speed, but at least now themes do not cross from mobile to desktop and desktop to mobile.
Thanks.
whether the “newspaper” can be installed in some of my blog.
sorry bad english (Gtranslate)
Hi,
From what I can see you are using a different page builder editor instead of Visual composer for your page, this may cause errors. You should create your pages in Visual composer – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and also make sure you are using the latest version that comes with the theme package – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ Please try to disable all your plugins except Visual composer and see if the problem is still there. Then you can install the demo you choose – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Also you can find more information about the theme as well as tutorials to get you started, in the theme’s documentation here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
Thanks

Hello Sachin Guleria,
Please keep in mind that our Facebook Sharing feature works as expected, without any problems. So, I have made a test with one post of our demo and the Facebook Debugger returns no problems, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ah0en7h6 Since our demo goes right by your side means that should go properly. First of all, please try to revert the theme to the default state, if you are using some untested plugins try to remove them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. It is possible that your untested plugins to interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues.
