After our developer installed SSL certificate, we have a big problem with e theme’s Booster.
Our website https://sport-tek.ru/ stopping working, and we see an error message%
<b>Catchable fatal error</b>: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in <b>/www/sporttek/ssl/htdocs/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php</b> on line <b>716</b><br />
We deleted a plugin, but no luck, everything is crashed now.
What can be done?

Is is possible to have a full width basic slider with the NewsPaper 7 theme?
I know you can do a full width post, but I cannot seem to do a full width slider. I tried to install a demo revolution slider from the travel demo theme, but I get error messages when I try preview:
“Not Acceptable!
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.”
Is there any slider that will provide this option? Will Revolution Slider work in this capacity – if i can get it working? Help.

I have checked your website on the mobile device and I notice that your header will not disappear from mobile. It is strange because the mobile version will hide it. Do you have added some code which forces this header to be in this section and for mobile devices? Try to revert the theme to the default state, disable all the untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP and check the results.

First of all, please ensure that you have right installed your theme with the latest version of it via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of these and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP and install only the required plugins and check the results.

We have a similar implementation of Plista content, and it all worked smoothly via the widget they provide – without changing a single line of code. Have you already tried to install the Taboola widget? Maybe https://www.taboola.com/publisher-help-center/implement-the-wordpress-plugin might help you.

Hi,
By default, the theme comes bundled with the default responsive mobile version. Also, if you choose to install the mobile theme plugin, the mobile version will be enabled. If you do not use the Mobile theme plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ when on mobile devices, the responsive version of the theme will display which means the content you add on desktop will be seen on mobile aswell adapted for smaller displays for better usage and conveniency. The responsive feature is implemented in most of the elements of the page.

Please keep in mind that on old versions of Android 5.0, the theme will not work as expected because these versions are deprecated. You should install the Chrome browser if you want to bring best results in theme.

Notice that the smartlist is too sensible feature and it is possible that some untested plugins to interact with the code and cause a lot of unknown issues.

If you have newspaper 4, then the you will have to update via ftp. Delete your current theme and then do a clean install of newspaper 7 You install it just like installing a totally new theme because there is no way to update from the old version of the theme. Simply delete newspaper 4 from your install, then install newspaper 7 and run the update script from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/hihjLTqM

Coincidences can happen though 🙂 but not likely in this case. Try one more thing. If you think the theme has anything to do with it, install ‘adrotate’ and use the adsense ads through the plugin. This way the theme will have absolutely no influence over the ads. Test it out and see what happens.

The recommended permissions for a file is 644 and for a folder i 755. Make sure you have these set to your server.
Please also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If plugins did not affect permissions, then maybe another source could have. Please make a clean install of WP and the theme and test again as the file permissions are not changed by the theme.

It seems to work on your site when the code is applied – https://www.screencast.com/t/qFjqtqn8Pjy and after I refreshed the page a few times the count increased from 39 to 43 with some delay.
Also this code does not affect the view counter, maybe you have installed a plugin with this functionality which can interact with the post view count feature and cause this problem. Try disabling all the plugins except Visual Composer and see what happens in regard to the post view count.
