Hello,

I installed the newspaper theme and followed the instructions in the documentation to create a home page. Including the step to go to Settings > Reading and set the newly created home page as the Front page.

However, when I try to access my site, the browser displays an error page stating:
“The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.”

This is the same case in all browsers. I tried other themes and did not get the same issue. Can you please help me resolve this problem?

FYI – My site has an SSL certificate installed. Please let me know if you need more details.

Hello,

I just purchased the newspaper theme. In order to use it, I had to install the visual composer plugin. After the install of visual composer, there is a message to activate the license for the plugin. However, I do not have a license.

Am I suppose to buy a separate license for the visual composer?

I recently installed new theme 7.1.1 from 6.7.1 from Envanto tool kit in wordpress and manually also. After updating i saw site is working fine except one issue that is with the social counter..my blog name is http://www.allnewtechs.com . and it is looking as it corrupted or might be any issue with it..showing it..in previous version of theme 6.7.1 it was colorful nowits white and not even working. when i again changed back to my previous theme it was working fine..but when i update this to new theme then it dont workds. i think there may be the issue with the theme or wiht social counter..please visit my site and see whats the problem with my social counter and how to resolve this..

I just installed your theme and face some problems. I am using WPML to switch between english and german language. I know, you told me, that the theme is not certified for the use with WPML.
Still, I wonder, why the english page (https://www.offroaddance.com) looks fine (besides the thumbnails which I have to regenerate), while the german version (https://www.offroaddance.com/?lang=de) looks completely smashed.
The preview of the german home page looks just fine. German and english version are identical besides, that I gave the german category id´s for the different blocks.

Do you have an idea, what could be the problem or how this can be solved ?

Additionally, I am having some maps on my post pages (i.e. https://www.offroaddance.com/black-rock-mountain-road-arizona-strip-english/). The map should show up below the text “And here is an overview of the area, we visited:”.

The maps are loaded in a div element as iframe and I am using the following custom css code to scale them for the content area width:

Unfortunately, the maps are not showing up, if I use this custom css. If I remove it, the map shows up, but uses the complete width of the content block + sidebar area and doesn´t stay within the content area.

Maybe you are also having an idea about this ?

I just installed the newsmag theme, and my website appear on mobile exactly like on desktop, it is not at all mobile responsive. Everything looks really small even the menus etc.
How can I make it mobile responsive ?

After I install the theme via FTP to wp-content/themes, I find added theme appears at themes folder. However, when I go back to the “manage theme”, there is no new theme, and said:

Broken Themes

The following themes are installed but incomplete.

Name Description
Newspaper Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.

What’s going on? How was I done? PLS help.

I get this: “The plugin does not have a valid header.” when trying to install mobile theme OR social counter plugins.

any ideas what’s causing this and how to fix?

I have recently installed the Newspaper 7 theme, and it IS awesome!

But, there is one category in the main navigation in the demo “HOMEPAGES” which is great because it allows me to test different layouts instantly… but I need to ‘hide’ that navigation category for now.

How can I ‘hide’ it, without ‘removing’ it altogether?

Below is a screenshot of the problem I am having. I recently moved hosts and since then my visual composer has stopped working. I have tried disabling plugins to resolve this problem. I have tried deleting and reinstalling visual composer.

In the past it brought up all the blocks to edit. In this case I want to edit the front home page blocks, but I cant, they no longer come up for me to edit.

The image was working perfectly, then i changed some category and all image disapeared from the website..

i tryed with 2 computers, same problems
tryed with my cellphone and its working..

Can you please advise ?

Custom sidebars have stopped working, after adding the widgets and getting out and going back in the custom sidebars loses the data.

Hi,
I am trying to find the best Video playlist add-on for the site and I bought the Universal Video Player and they are telling me that the site crashes (after I activate this VC Add-on) because the Theme has modify Visual composer, therefore, this add-on cannot work because of the theme…. I would have to desinstall the theme and VC and reinstall VC with the complete version.

So is it true that we dont have a complete version of Visual Composer??

Or can you help me out with this ??

Previously before updating to newspaper, i was using the technews demo, after the update there were new demos added. I uninstalled technews demo and imported recipe demo, after saving the recipe demo, my homepage visual composer still had the previous settings regarding the categories.

But recipe demo wasn’t showing, the homepage block contents properly, so i uninstalled the recipe demo and switched back to previous demo, still homepage blocks aren’t showing visual composer contents. But the backend editor shows different blocks.

How do I fix this?

I installed tagDiv Speed Booster and even make more slow, so i desactivate tagDiv Speed Booster got some point better.

Hi Guys,

first of all thanks for this awesome template! We are very happy, however there seems to be one minor problem. We are using the template on an wordpress installation for our intranet. The – unfortunately – standard browser has to be Internet Exlporer. On the bright side, our IT set the Internet Explorer to be open upon the decision in which mode/version the site wants tu run. And the Newspaper Template “wants” to run / uses the Internet Exlporer 7 Version, despite the fact it could go up the available Versions like Edge.

Therefore the qusestion is, how is it possible to force the Newspaper Template to choose a higher Version than IE7?
IE7 seems to be no option because the sidebar is displayed beneath the main content an above the footer, saying it is never displayed on the right or left side as set in the Template settings.
