Now with newspaper mobile theme+amp, results are really bad even if speed tests from gtmetrix and pagespeed are really good.

How can i come back to a good result please ? This is really surprising and happend 2 days after installing newspaper

Hi, I am using WP Dark Mode plugin on my site and when and link or page is clicked as the page is refreshing the site goes into light mode and all the background is white for a millisecond, it’s annoying.
I believe that this may be fixed by installing some code that preloads the dark mode before the page loads? can someone please help find a solution, thanks.

registered with license key
selected prebuilt template
installed all needed modules

when I go to edit a page with TagDiv button at top of site I get taken to a 404 page styled with the correct theme
It appears TagDiv is NOT working at all on my site to let me edit any page.

deleted entire install and reinstalled everything also already.

GD and MB are enabled
all server variables like max_execution_time etc. are all OK

please advise

We opened a ticket with the developers of The Events Calendar regarding a compatibility issue with your plugin, TagDiv Cloud Library:

“It seems like there is a compatibility issue between the tagDiv Composer plugin and TEC. It breaks the filter bar functionality (when I click show it doesn’t come up). It gives the exact same error as the issue a few months ago between TEC and ACF described here. This thread is about the date picker that broke when using the classic editor and ACF. It gave the exact same JS error. It was then fixed by TEC.”

The Event Calendar’s support has tested our client’s staging site as well as their own, and experienced the same issue in both cases. They are digging further into it, but asked us to get in touch with you, and see if you can shed some light on the JS conflict logged in the console, below.

We also see another customer of yours opened a similar ticket with you here. You say there that the plugin isn’t tested, and thus you cannot offer support for it. And we completely understand it’s not reasonable to try test with every plugin in the WP ecosystem. However, TEC is the #1 event plugin with a whopping 800.000 installations on their free plugin alone, and they have been around for many years. One would expect that qualifies as a plugin that arguably should be on your testing list.

We’re hoping that, together with TEC, you can create a solution for this problem. We had to postpone a part of an important launch for our client as a result of this issue.

It was working fine a few days ago when I installed this theme to my new site. Suddenly Tagdiv composer cannot work today and keep showing blank page.

I have tried everything:
1) Disable all plugins except for Newspapers
2) Delete tagDiv plugins (composer and cloud only) and reinstalled, and reactivated
3) reset my htaccess to just the basic for WordPress
4) Read your FAQ on composer problems and tried adding those additional lines to htaccess

Nothing works. Maybe I need to do a clean install to work.

I contacted my server tech support and we spent an hour troubleshooting and the following was the conclusion:
1) public_html/wp-admin/themes.php – this is causing stalled processes in my CPanel Resource Panel
2) Server tech commented to ask the Theme developer to relook into your code to kill the stalled processes.

Thanks, I will switch to another theme for now and will check back later when you have new updates if that would solve the problem.

I have a problem with the site. Since I implemented newspaper theme with the Metropolitan PRO demo, my website has slowed down a lot. This can be seen even in the statistics, which are currently very poor. The question is, can someone check what I did wrong? All plugins are up to date, I have installed the ones required by the theme. Not only photos, but the whole page in general takes a long time to load. As a result, Google “cuts” our reach.

Hi,

Just installed Newpaper theme and I have uploaded the logo and retina logo in the theme panel but it doesn’t change and it appears as basic setting on the website. Not sure how to solve this issue.

I tried to install other review plug-ins because of the features (price, image insertion, site movement) not provided by the review plug-in provided by Newspaper, but the installed review plug-in does not work. Is it possible to use other post review plugins?
