You wrote that “If you installed a demo, you do not have to make any modification to the pages. Simply install the demo and customize it further or begin adding your own content if you installed it with content.”
But my question is isn’t what you wrote not recommended because the demo pages get removed if I decide to switch demos or uninstall the demo and could cause me a problem in the future?
Would it be better if I simply copied the code from a demo page and moved the code to a new blank page?
If yes then how do I get the code for any of the demos that I like?
After replace domain install and set Registration key the Newspaper Theme still show “Purchase Now” on top of the page
How do I removed the “Purchase Now”
Another question here, we’ve got the “Regenerate Thumbs” plugin installed and setup, however we still get thumbs that are not displaying correctly. See here: https://www.evernote.com/l/ADHmsAAlOz1KJYJXcvZ5OUy5BU9MB5kqNkc
Does “Regenerate Thumbs” not automatically do this? We went through the steps in the suggested tutorial above where we regenerated all thumbs, but it’s still displaying newer images incorrectly since then?
I installed a plugin called Sensei, which is an online course plugin. After installing it, it messed up my existing Courses page (the wrappers were off), so I deactivated and deleted the plugin and now when I click on my Courses page it redirects to the Home page. I can not figure out for the life of me how to fix it back like it was before I installed the plugin. I can find the Courses page in the WordPress builder and all of the content is still there. Even when I “preview changes” it takes me to the Home page. Thanks in advance. P.S., I don’t know how to code.
When I install your demo it comes with alot of existing posts that have nothing to do with my site. What is the best way to get rid of these posts that come with the template?

Hello!
How to correctly make updates from version 8.0 to version 8.1?
By clicking on the link, I am redirected to themeforest.net. What should be done? Download and reinstall the theme? Will the reinstallation of the topic affect the content of the current site?
Hi,
Try as a test to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, and clear any installed caching. Then create a new page and try to edit it with the tagDiv composer.
Do not try to edit pages previously created with Visual composer.
Please let us know the results.
Thanks
Hi,
The post views setting needs to be enabled in order for the popular sorting to work. When there is caching installed, the ajax view count needs to be enabled.
I don’t understand what exactly you want to do about this setting. Maybe you could provide additional details.
Thanks
Hi,
There seems to be a huge padding set on the video element
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dDXt5cvp8iwi
You could try as a quick fix a code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IDC6dQsiLZZ
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS and check if it works. If you have caching installed, clear it after entering the code
.fluid-width-video-wrapper {
padding-top: 392px!important;
}
Visual composer can be used for posts, but this is not recommended. It should be only used on pages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
The tagDiv composer is a front-end page editor and can be used for pages only
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
In future updates more options and elements will be added to this editor exclusively, not for Visual composer.
Thanks
I’ve come out with a solution for the 404 page, even not perfect, because both sections have to use the same menu (and I in fact use 2 different for my needs). Anyway, it seems that I can’t solve the issue myself in a clean way and without a plugin, so I had to installed a wordpress plugin (404page – your smart custom 404 error page), which now handles the 404 page for the magazine and for the shop(woocommerce) section. It uses the same 404 page (custom built using visual composer) for both sections of the site.
Unfortunately there’s an issue with displaying of the products, which are part of its design. You can see here: bit.ly/2wjOiIH
The page contains 1 row which includes a text block and products.
Can you help me to fix this?
Should I just uninstall mobile theme plugin? All this stuff seems complicated. By the way, the two of the pages I shared with you are now loading correctly (can you please check from your end as well). But there are still some problem pages. I can’t figure out what’s happening.
Hi,
It seems none of the theme styling for bbpress is applying. A suggestion that you could try would be to deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins and bbpress and clear any installed caching. Then check if the forum page is displaying properly.
I could give you a code to fix these two issues, but there might be others at a later time
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ccuh8QXGchiW
The theme will use it’s own styling for the bbpress elements, but they are not applying here. It could be the optimization plugin or a maybe a different one that is casing the issue. Try what is mentioned above and check the results.
Thanks
Hi,
Maybe this is a misunderstanding. The pages that need to be recreated are pages created with Visual composer. If you had any previous pages like that, these will have to be recreated.
If you installed a demo, you do not have to make any modification to the pages. Simply install the demo and customize it further or begin adding your own content if you installed it with content (logos, categories, menus etc)
Here is a tutorial about block settings that is very useful

Please let us know if you have any further questions or need help at any point.
Thanks
Hi,
The theme is fully tested and works properly. It does not contain any malware or redirects to other websites. Only use the theme downloaded from themeforest not from other sources, like Chris mentioned. If you checked the database with the security solutions provided by Chris, install the theme again and see if the problem is still happening
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Remove all other plugins except the ones that come with the theme, in the theme package. Do not use any custom code in the theme panel or directly in the theme files. Do not activate any child theme you might have.
Thanks
Hi,
Please try and deactivate all plugins except theme plugins. Then deactivate and delete the Revolution slider plugin and install it again. Try to activate it and see if the warning is still displayed.
Also please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Let us know if you still have problems activating the Revolution slider plugin.
Thanks
Hi,
Please check in the plugins section and deactivate the tagDiv composer, and clear any caching installed. Then check if the link is set and working properly. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello,
The plugin is not a live count and it is affected by caching. If you have a strong cache in place, it will affect the counter and provide a big delay. Now it has been updated: https://www.screencast.com/t/AGE2IzQCZe4
Please only use wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also please contact your host and have them disable any hosting side cache.
Thank you!
I have installed WP Social Login on my Newspaper 8. Since there is already in place a login system, I would like to know whether that might be a problem. Can you explain what I need to do to set up the WP Social Login plugin?
Thank you!
So, did you do the things mentioned in my post?
Did you clean up your dbase already — this is mandatory if you got hacked, including changing passwords, etc.
If you don’t clean the infection from your dbase, then whenever you turn on the theme, this enables the data already in your dbase from getting hacked, it looks like.
This infection can happen with a wide variety of themes using a certain ‘hook’ in the data, as outlined in the articles linked to in my security post.
Simply reinstalling WP, all plugins, theme, etc., won’t be enough —
YOU MUST
a) clean your dbase
b) reinstall wordpress
c) reinstall plugins
d) check htaccess and wp-config.php
e) CHANGE ALL YOUR PASSWORDS
f) check dbase again
This is only way to be safe.
Make sure you are only installing latest version of theme from TF, not a pirate version, old version, friend version, etc.
But this only happens when you activate your theme. It’s annoying to buy a theme, and that’s only happening with yours.
I already deleted the Newspaper6 and inserted the new version Newspaper 8. I deleted plugins and everything.
I installed Wordfence. I deleted all files from the server and reinstalled wordpress, install themes etc.
It only happens when you activate yours. I’m getting frustrated with this because I have the website out of the air for two days
Hi,
If you mean the author name displayed in the post page, that can be disabled in the theme panel just like the author box as well
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xKlRlJsDLR
For blocks and modules the settings is this one
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bdbSIprDN3N
If you already tried this without result, try clearing an caching installed and check again.
Thanks
Hi,
My site seems to take some time to load especially on mobile phone it takes a minute to load everything.
I tried pingdom to test my site it also says it takes around 60 sec to fully load. I tried uninstalling some plugins and temporarily removed ad codes same results.
Appreciate your assistance in finding a solution to speed up my site thanks.
Btw my site is hosted on godaddy which does not allow cache plugins
Hi,
There are many page speed and website optimizations tutorials here on the forum, that you can follow. Like these ones for example

Hello,
This seems like a very strange issue. The theme does not reset itself. Are you sure you are not changing demos? Installing a new demo with demo content can have this result: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
A demo is imported with the settings as well as the dummy data so your settings will reset when installing a demo.
Other than that, the theme will not reset itself unless you have errors in the database or malware that is constantly refreshing the database.
I recommend cleaning up your wp install by using the many guides online on how to do it.
Also make sure you meet the minimum requirements for the theme:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi,
That should not happen if the page was previously created with the tagDiv composer. Try to deactivate and delete the tagDiv composer plugin and install it again from the theme package.
If the problem is still present deactivate all plugins as a test except theme plugins, and and check if this has any effect.
Thanks
