Bogdan,
Problem is I cannot even get it to the starting point they have in the video. I am not seeing the TagDiv composer helper when I am on my page or an option to bring it up to edit the page.
Or, if I install a demo without the content, I just have a blank page and cannot get the different section. I am completely lost here.
I use Newspaper theme. I’ve got a problem with „date” on start page. I heve build static page using Visual Composer and I set it as a start page. I arranged start page using block. In wordpress I’ve installed plug „Meks Time Ago” which automatically should change my post date display to “time ago” format like “1 hour ago”, “3 weeks ago”, “2 months ago” etc. However when I use it on my start page, plug doesn’t work properly – in block is a date when static page was created than the date when news item was added.
Hello ptrcktn,
First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest theme version and then, ensure that your system status parameters are according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello barnisayz,
I suggest you make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way with the latest theme version and check the results. Use exclusively the plugins which come bundled with the theme core files.
Thanks.
Thanks for the quick response!
I believe that the problem appeared after the update WPBakery Visual Composer separately from the template.
If I delete the plugin, and then install it from the template (as written in the instructions here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/), it will not destroy this previously created entries and pages?
Hi,
There are two types of licenses currently available. The regular license and the extended license. More information here
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/regular
– https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/extended
The Envato policy allows to use a theme only on one install. You can however use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed

Thanks
Hello barnisayz,
Make sure that your theme has been correctly installed and also, check your system status to be according to our documentation. These steps have been given into other topics. Try them and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello Techmodar,
I suppose that you are not correctly installed the theme and that’s why you bring these errors, sorry! I suggest you making a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Morning sir,
Can you kindly walk me through on how to install and configure Google Analytics from the theme.
Thanks
Hi,
The images seem to be displaying just fine at the moment, on the whole website
– https://www.screencast.com/t/bwnZ3CFdU
Almost at all times problems involving the images are caused by plugins. What you can do if this should happen again, is to check if this is the case by deactivating all the plugins except the ones provided with the theme. Then clear any caching installed, and see if the issue is fixed. After that it should be a matter of identifying the one responsible.
Thanks
Hello,
The best way to get eh page to look exactly like a demo is to simply install the demo from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
We do not recommend editing the dummy data and using it as your own though as dummy data gets removed if you change demos or unistall the demo.
We recommend actually creating the page from scratch using our new page builder. Please check this video to see how easy it is to create a new page: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hi,
It should display for the elements you select from the theme panel, once it is uploaded. I have downloaded the same font you mention and uploaded it
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3OlxZSH1ht8
Then is have set it for the post content for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/42DqAw6ic
The result is that the post content is now using that font
– https://www.screencast.com/t/39edhk9oHSjd
And the font is loaded by the theme
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Cltze1qS
Maybe you are not setting the font for the elements you want it to appear. It could be as well that you have caching, try clearing any installed cache.
Thanks
Hello Bogdan, thank you for the support via email. I see what the problem is: there is a Social Counter installed by default on the theme which I don’t know where to edit or remove, which currently has your (Tagdiv) social counter data.
I had configured correctly the Social Counter but it wasn’t on the default sidebar widget so I never noticed that it was already correctly set. When I moved it to the default sidebar widget, it appeared with the correct data from my fan page. BUT the problem is that the default Social Counter which appears at the top of the sidebar is still there, with tagdiv’s data. Where do I remove it?
Hello thebootguy,
If you have recently made a new fresh install via FTP way, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Provide the link to this topic so we can quickly identify you.
Thanks for your understanding!
Thanks Catalin.
But when the instruction says;
Install both the Visual Composer and tagDiv Composer plugins.
Does it mean I have to activate the two plugin?
Hi,
That option is not coming from the theme. It could be added there by a plugin that you might have installed. Please check if that is the case, by deactivating all your plugins except the ones included in the theme package, and clear any caching installed.
Thanks
hi
thanks i did all of that, this file that fail is long to the theme
http://192.168.0.194/wp_011_lifestyle/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/47.jpg
cause i installed lifestyle and gave me this error now that i uninstalled it still there
I can see it in the developer tool in the network tab it takes 2 min to load and at the end it failed.
Thanks
Hi,
Try testing without any other plugins active, except the ones provided with the theme maybe identify what exactly is causing the loading problem.
You can follow this guide to further improve page loading speed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
And install a caching plugin
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
There are also many page speed tutorials in this matter here on the forum that you can follow.
Thanks
I am subscribing to this thread because I am having the same problem on womensgolf.com. I followed all instructions in https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/. Built a new page from scratch in tagdiv composer. saved successfully and previewed fine. but all rows/blocks had disappeared when I reopened the page in tagdiv composer. My install of visual composer is Version 5.1 but have not opened or edited the page in visual composer.
Also deactivated all non approved plugins.

Hello Ugo,
I recommend you to do a new clean install from scratch via FTP way to another sub-domain without any untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files and causes this unknowns issues. Please notice that error does not exist in our theme files and this behavior will not happen if it will be correctly used.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello disneylandparisinfo,
Unfortunately, I try to access your website and I cannot do this because it seems to be in maintenance mode -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ajgaO8GpA Please ensure that you have right installed the latest theme version of the theme via FTP way because this is the surest way in this regard and also, check the plugins used to be our recommended and make sure to be updated. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please remove all of them, leave just our plugins and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
installed the Theme on website everything is great but the loading time is so long. i have no idea why it take almost 60 sec . it load all the content in 4 to 5 second but if you look at the loading sign on the browser it take a long time till it stops.

Hy you all
thanks for your suggestions. Some browsers, yes, make use of blocker. But the real helper is Catalin. I really appreciate your high quality support.
So my homework now is to discover the bad thing inside.
the row says
<div class="td-header-ad-wrap td-ad-m td-ad-tp td-ad-p" style="display: none !important;">
</div>
but the style.css at line 281
has
.single-post #td-theme-settings,
.single-post .td-header-top-menu,
.single-post .td-header-menu-wrap,
.single-post .td-header-sp-rec,
.single-post .td-main-sidebar,
.single-post .td-post-source-tags,
.single-post .td-post-sharing,
.single-post .td-post-next-prev,
.single-post .td_block_related_posts,
.single-post #comments,
.single-post .td-footer-container,
.single-post .td-sub-footer-container,
.single-post .entry-crumbs,
.single-post .td-category,
.single-post .td-post-views,
.single-post .td-post-comments,
.single-post .td-scroll-up,
.single-post iframe,
.single-post .td-more-articles-box {
display: none !important;
}
I don’t think the problem is here becasue I tried to comment this row.. the result is the same.
In only one browser I see it. the others report a lot of style coded in gray with the word
“outbrain”
this drives me nut. Because the WP setup is fresh, and really I’m disabling almost all the plugins installed.. the problem persists.
Tomorrow I retry.
EDIT: I saved a local copy to try a find-in-file
but probably this is a 64base coded injection.
Ugo
Hi,
You probably have to remove the ads from the theme panel sections, and use only the plugin to insert them through it. I don’t know exactly what must be done, but the plugin must have some installation information that you can follow.
Thanks
