Hello, I have the same issue.
WordPress 5.9.3
Newspaper 11.4.3
Cool Tag Cloud 2.27
tagDiv Cloud Library 2.2
tagDiv Composer 3.3
tagDiv Social Counter 5
tagDiv Standard Pack 1.4
This is not the issue with the SEO plugin.
The problem is there even when I deactivate the SEO plugin (in my case All in One SEO v.4.2.0). Also I tested with the Yoast SEO (v.18.8) and the problem remains. The canonical tag on Homepage remains.
The issue only happens with certain settings:
- 1. The option in Setting » Reading is set to Static Page (and a page is selected)
- 2. On that page is used the option Pagination – Normal numbered (with Posts Loop element)
This doesn’t happen on Category/Tag pages where there is also pagination. On those pages there is no canonical tag.
Please, give advice on how to remove the canonical tag from the Homepage, without the need to – disable pagination, use modules, or change the theme. Thank you.
Hi! Every time I do an update of Newspaper, the tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library plugins uninstall themselves.
This causes my website to look like this after every update:
Now that I’m aware this is happening, I know that I just have to go and re-install those plugins everytime there’s a Newspaper update, and then clear the site cache to make the site look normal again. But it’s a bit annoying, and I’m fairly sure it’s not meant to be like this.
Any suggestions for how I can fix this?

You need the Standard Pack plugin if you use the default templates. Otherwise, you can uninstall it.

From what I saw and from the other topic you added code in the theme files, that’s why you get these errors.
I recommend is to do a clean install, without changes in the theme files (to reinstall the theme).
Our theme is a frontend theme for most of the elements and changes, you’ll need to use the tagDiv Composer to edit the pages and templates for posts/categories, etc => https://i.imgur.com/I3OUYxr.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/mMrEufY.jpg from the frontend, no in the code -> https://www.screencast.com/t/LDdokrHPl
The theme can be used on RTL format in frontend using the tagDiv Composer and cloud templates (not editing the theme files)

The problem with the sidebar is related to a plugin conflict between tagDiv Cloud library and an extra plugin, this plugin is WPBakery, this is overwriting the cloud settings for rows.
so to have the nice layout you’ll need to disable the WPBakery plugin, or use some custom css to adjust the css.

Please edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, access Website Manager and check if the header and footer are there and it is not selected “No footer”. Check in the Dashboard -> Cloud Templates and see if you have the footer template. If not, then please install a footer template from the Cloud Library or build it from scratch by uploading a blank template.
For the category page, you can add a flex block with filter Category: Current category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ The posts from that category will display.

We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. 3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. From what I can see, you use the Mobile theme plugin and there are only some settings in the theme panel -> Mobile theme for customization.

I have now disabled all plugins except for the Tagdiv ones: Cloud Library, Composer, Mobile Theme, Standard Pack and Social Counter.
However, I still don’t see the option to edit the page with TagDiv composer (I am referring to the green button that I see as an admin on the top of each page.

I had been experiencing 500 errors on the web for weeks every time I updated or published a post or page. Currently, I am following a training in Advanced WordPress https://academiawp.alvarofontela.com/ and following the steps of one of the videos of the academy I added the Query Monitor plugin and surprised I saw that its TagDiv + Cloud Templates plugins together generate a lot of RAM resources that are saturating my hosting. If I deactivate one of them (either of them) the problem disappears, but logically my website is completely created with its visual composer and cloud library.
I have made a video for them (deactivating all the plugins so that they can see that the problem comes from them) so that I can correctly document my case so that they can offer me help. It is clear that I cannot have 215MG of resources when it is a website without using WooCommerce. It’s outrageous that this is needed on my website!

When you see only shortcode (raw code) then it is because some plugins are not enabled, in this case some theme plugins. Please check in Newspaper > plugins and make sure that tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Standard Pack are enabled.
IN case that there are still some schotcode can be from social counter plugin, newsletter or other theme plugins that were used.

I started with Newspaper this morning.
I entered the Purchase Code and activate it, and the activation is successful.
But when I go to Prebuilt Websites, I get this error:
An issue has been encountered while trying to validate your license key
Please reset the key from the System status tab and try to activate it again, or contact our customer support team at contact@tagdiv.com.
On the System Status page, I have reset the key 3 times. Same results — I cannot load the Prebuilt Websites page.
I have memory set at 256M, deactivated the non-TagDIV plugins, and cleared the cache.

It depends on what you mean by a fully compatible cache plugin. If you are referring to the settings that need to be used to work correctly with the theme, then both of the above plugins can be used, for WP Super cache we have a guide, and for WP Rocket we can give you a guide that works.
Now the problem is that depending on how each website is created, what elements it contains and what resources it still has, some webmasters need help to get a better speed for the mobile version. So our theme besides the responsive version offers me 2 more options.

Mobile theme plugin, is a plugin that uses a simple layout and elements without builders, as a consequence the pages must be rebuilt using mobile editor or you can use the responsive version.

Yes, you can set in any page an cloud template the Newsletter with tagDiv Composer, also you can set any other elements if you have the embed code or the shortcode, you just need to set them in a column text or text with title element.

My website suddenly throws me many errors in Search Console about AMP.
When accessing the AMP plugin within the web, it tells me:
“Themes with AMP incompatibility”
“· Newspaperde tagDiv Versión 11.4.3″
“Because of theme issue(s) we’ve found, you’ll want to consider a different template mode below. You may also want to browse alternative AMP compatible themes.”
It asks me to change the template but it doesn’t solve anything.
The other option it tells me is to change the theme. Is there anything we can do?

The problem with the sidebar is caused by a plugin conflict. Most of the time it is about the WPBakery plugin with tagDiv Cloud Library. We recommend to use only one of them.
About the post filter, if you set the post id in this place -> https://i.imgur.com/ukhHAiF.png the problem should be resolved. If this is not working, please try with a different id and in case that the problem persist, try using only tagDiv plugins.

This is because you are using a demo that is being edited from the font and does not take into account the settings in the standard pack (please disable the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin and if everything works fine, leave it disabled). Hi PrinterSmith, from what I see in your screenshot and details that you provided, the problem is that a theme plugin is not enabled. Please install and activate the tagDiv Cloud Library from Newspaper > plugins.
Also, please check to be sure that you have all the theme plugins enable like you had before the update.

The single_template_2 is a default templates and works only with the Standard Pack plugin.

Try to install the plugin Classic Widgets by WordPress and see the results.
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, we recommend first to deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and see the results.
For cloud templates, you can add the sidebar in the tagdiv Composer. Steps:
1. Add 1 row
2. Split into 2 columns( 2/3 + 1/3 )
3. You can add whatever element you want into the second column and consider it a sidebar.

It seems like tagDiv Standard Pack plugin need to be installed and activated. Are there any recent Changes? Earlier since after 10.4 TagDiv Composer and TagDiv Cloud Library need to be updated and active. But tagDiv Standard Pack plugin seems to be something new that needs to be installed and activated?
