I think this problem also arose due to the fact that so far you have used a very old theme version, and now after the update it will seem like you are using another theme. If you want to see how many updates have been made in the meantime, you can check this list -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/
As I said before, the tagdiv mobile theme plugin was not designed to work with shortcuts. Maybe in the version you had was the prototype from mobile theme where these issues have not yet been resolved.
Also, you can disable the mobile theme plugin on these pages or you can completely disable it and use the responsive version.

I upgrade to WP6 and update the newspaper theme to v11.5.1, deactivate/remove then reinstall tagdiv composer but all mega menu on the website I am working on still show the same sub-categories. I also uninstall cached plugin and remove cached file, same behavior.
I downgrade WP6 to WP 5.9.3 (and Newspaper Theme v11.5.1) then it fixes the issue.
Should I wait for a new version of Newspaper before re-upgrade WordPress to V6.0?

we are experiencing massive difficulties since the theme got updated, caused especially by the td composer and/or cloud plugins.
Our website enola.be is falling flat on it’s back day after day, and the culprit seems to be this:
Over 50.000 requests are made to the database by the wordpress core.
Furthermore, the delay that it takes for the site to load, is caused by the td composer
I have lookind in the sql database, and a healthy wp_options table is about 1 MB big, ours is over 10 MB.
When looking for the largest, the td_011 and td_011_settings pop up.
We would like to know what we can do to help solve this issue ?

I created a page with the Tagdiv builder, I updated it many times without any problem. But since yesterday, every time I make a change and save, my changes are not saved.
– I tried to deactivate all plugins except the Tagdiv plugins but the problem is the same.
– I also tried to deactivate the Tagdiv plugins and then reactivate them but the problem persists.
– I have tried to clear the WP Rocket server cache but the problem is still there.
When I save I see in the top right corner that the header and footer save well. I wonder if this is not the problem because I manage the header and footer with Cloud Template, they should not update normally when editing a page. I tried to disable them on the page, then update it, but the problem persists.

Could you help me? I have tried everything but nothing works. I also tried to duplicate the page but its “sister” has the same problem.
It might be better to either update the demos, or mention those limitations on themeforest since it’s misleading. If i had to do all those changes manually i would avoid purchasing the theme 🙂

Since several weeks, I can’t use basic theme options to upload image files such as favicon or logo for webpage via Newspaper theme panel. The theme gets stuck in a loop.

Indeed, we had a few reports about cache and ajax options.
After a while the ajax options do not work until the cache is cleared, I believe is the same case.
Our developers are working on this, and for the moment the only working solution is to not cache the elements that use ajax.
Also, we’ll try to update the documentation and check the new cloudflare WordPress plugin.

Also, in another thread I just posted that our content area isn’t loading in blog posts but it is present in the editor.
The cloudflare settings seem to be outdated and I routinely run into problems with AJAX not working properly until I purge the cache. I was wondering if there are any updates to how it should be configured. One setting in particular is the new cloudflare wordpress plugin and the automatic optimization for wordpress. Is this currently supported by the Newspaper theme? Also, can you please update the UI to match the latest in cloudflare? Thanks!
Please, my website (https://mp3worship.com) is having a serious issue with the download links after an update, I have called on my host and my personal technicians, and they both confirmed that is a problem with my themes. All my downloads links suddenly stopped working, and when I download mp3 file maybe after trying consistently, it download with a KB memory size and won’t play.
Right now even new download links are not working, all my audio files are in mess.

I did not understand if before the update you use mobile theme plugin or not, or it was only used for amp.
The layout and header you have now can be edited using tagDiv Composer.
For using the mobile theme or/and amp you can check those guide:

I think I understand where the problem is. It may come from the blocks. On each module in the blocks there were 2 links to the post, and at the suggestion of several users on one of the links was placed nonflow.
Now the problem is that there are other users who come and report that for them this is not ok, so our developers have decided to introduce an on / off option to nonflow on this link. This option will be added in the coming update.

Indeed, there was a bug in the update that apparently affected the mobile pages in the categories. Our developers have fixed this issue and the fix will be offered in the next update.
For a quick solution you can replace the code from this file td-cloud-library/includes/tdb_functions.php with the code from here -> https://pastebin.com/QanXUMrH
In case that there are some problems after replacing the code, please disable and delete the tagDiv Cloud library and reinstall the plugin from Newspaper > plugins.

Our theme has 3 header files, on in theme, one in tagDiv Composer (wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/header.php) and one in tagDiv Standard Pack (wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/header.php), now if the standard pack is enable and you do not use a cloud template then you’ll use the file from standard pack, if this plugin is disable or you use a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library then it will be used the file from composer, if both of these are disable will be display the one from theme (wp-content/themes/Newspaper/header.php).
I think this is the file that I think you need to edit wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/header.php
You will also need to use a child theme to avoid making these edits after each update -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

First, I want to make sure that I was able to inform you of all info about the mobile versions that our theme can have.
1. Responsive version, this is by default when you install the theme and you do not use mobile page or mobile theme plugin.
2. Mobile page/template this allows you to create with tagDiv Composer and cloud a different layout and set different elements for mobile and iPad/tablet and it will overwrite the responsive version.
3. Mobile theme plugin, this is a light theme version for mobile that will overwrite the mobile page templates and the responsive version of the theme.
So when you have a mobile page/template this will be used instead of a responsive version, but if you also have the mobile theme enabled, this one will override both of them.
How to combine them? Yes, this can be possible, for example the mobile page/template will apply only on that page or cloud template that is assigned. But what to do if you want to use a mobile theme plugin too? If you use mobile theme, in Gutenberg editor it is an option to disable the mobile theme in current post/page, if you use the option, then it will be use the mobile page/template (if is assigned) or the responsive version.
So in your case you can disable the mobile theme on the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/NX57q4t.png or if you do not want it at all, disable the plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/Grlz5Ee.png.

I did several tests (I used the version 5.2 and 5.2.1) and for me everything seems to work ok.
Indeed, using the mobile theme plugin, de desktop content of pages will not be displayed, this need to be set without a theme builder in the mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/TYLjOBt.png, or you can disable the mobile theme from those pages -> https://i.imgur.com/42Bj2XY.png. Theme mobile theme plugin is working like this since was introduced on Newsmag theme.
If the mobile theme plugin is not used, then the responsive version is displayed on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/F30wF3N.png
If this is not the case for you, I would like to check these issues. For this you need to make a backup to the website and contact us at the email address contact@tagdiv.com, where please provide the site credentials and some screenshots of the problem before and after the update.

It’s related to 11.5 update. My working mobile templates stoped working after update I used time machine to go back to 11.4 version it’s fixed and didn’t update to 11.5.1 still on 11.4.
@bettina @anamaria In reality, I am very worried! I made the changes to “aggregateRating” and started the fix from Search Console that Google validated.

I don’t understand where your theme is going. These are very serious errors that have a huge weight on SEO and are bound to increase without a quick fix. I trust your prompt intervention. Using cloud templates, don’t use the mobile theme plugins so all mobile pages are created per Mobile Templates created with tagDiv composer. Recently I changed themes and updated footer, header, homepage, author and various other pages. The category page was updated with the same theme, each was imported, didn’t not “switch themes” and went to create a mobile template, selected “copy content” saved, edited and for some reason the Category Mobile is the only one that won’t load, it loads the Page Templates Mobile Responsive Page, not the separate mobile page that I created, verified in cloud templates that the Page Template is set and the Mobile Template I created is set. I proceeded to disable all plugins, no change, I deactivate the td cloud library plugins and enabled them, no change. I rename the mobile, deleted the mobile and recreated still no change. I checked the Newspaper themes settings to make sure no category was set, all of them set to inherit. It is like somehow the Category Template is hard-coded to load its own mobile page, not the mobile page that was created from it. The last thing I am thinking of doing is importing the Category Template page again and selected it as the default and testing. Any thoughts on what could be going on? Clear cache and all that jazz.

I am absolutely gunning to have a design like this but as a single post template. The image to the side like this is amazing and would be so good in single posts.
Problem is. I cannot find any features or possible ways to actually make this happen in newspaper theme. Hoping you will consider this design template some day. I understand the sample I showed is a category page. But if could make this top part with the feature image to the side like that would be very popular I think. It just looks so good
