Hello again,

I did other checks, the Homepage post block,[td_block_homepage_full_1], no longer works when displaying the website in Desktop mode with version 12.6.1, unlike version 12.5.1.Even disabling all plugins other than yours.

I did not edit my main page with WPBakery but rather with TagDiv Composer. The preview works well, but immediately live, the block does not appear. Only viewed from a smartphone.

From there, I don’t know what to do to get my main page back with the display as I had defined it before unless I return to version 12.5.1.

Can you look a little deeper into this?

1. Yes I understand the child theme is not overwritten, I’m asking for guidance about why we would get a critical error from this line of code in it’s header.php – perhaps related to #2? It is related to general issue of the update breaking the site, child theme or not.

#2. We have all dependent plugins. Below is what the shortcodes look like that are appaering everywhere – they look related to the composer, which we have installed & activated, and the new version from the theme update. My theory is that because we are making such a jump in theme versions, we’re missing one of the intermediate updates that performed some sort of action that converted them in td composer during a previous update. Can you please ask your dev team?

We have facing the issue of Tag div composer.It gives error like
“Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”.

Please look into this on an urgent basis.

I solved the problem on my own and spent the whole night in front of the terminal eradicating the threat by cleaning the db and the corrupt files, hoping that everything is working now. Now, unfortunately I’m here to say that this theme has a very serious security problem (for many years) on plugins that are not secure. One of these is the composer plugin and from all the updates you send it is never able to be definitively resolved. Most malfunctions and attacks happen through your plugins! Unfortunately there is also the matter of the speed of the site which is very slow and always due to heavy elements.
I’m really sorry to write it here in this discussion because I’ve been purchasing the template for years but now, before recommending it to some of my clients I’ll think about it more.

So what is the final solution here?

This is just a work around on how to identify where is the malware.

Did you already have a fix for the vulnerability? Even if we follow steps here – there’s always a tendency for the site to be hacked again unless you apply a fix to the plugin/theme.

So what is the final fix to prevent this? Do you expect us to just fix this everytime this happens – knowing that the theme has a vulnerability?

tagDiv Composer stopped working for my website https://doctorbrasil.com.br/, after updating. I can’t edit anymore. Can I provide username and password to be checked by you and corrected?

usually this happens when you don’t ‘re-enable’ the composer plugin after updating everything. I had this happen recently with newsmag.

Might not be your issue, but double check the composer plugin updated and activated under the plugins section in WordPress. 🙂
