Hello,

This error is the probability you have an older version of the theme and the multi-purpose plugin was included in the tagDiv Composer and is no longer required. Please check if you use the last version of WordPress with the last theme version Newspaper 10.3.9.1, also make sure that the theme update was done correctly =>https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (before the update, make a full backup of all files, delete the files of the theme, not override).
The required plugins are: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library (if using Cloud Templates), tagDiv Standard Pack (if using Standard Templates, is not needed for Pro Demo), tagDiv Newsletter (for subscribe), tagDiv Social Counter (only if you use Social Counter), tagDiv Mobile Theme (is a light design version for post and is needed for new page content, this plugin is used to improve the mobile page speed, removing the fancy layout from desktop).
Also, when accessing the link to the website this is what I see => https://www.screencast.com/t/L1yVPH2Yl7G8

Hello,

You need to enable the thumbnails for those blocks from Theme Panel -> Block Settings -> Thumbs on modules/blocks => https://www.screencast.com/t/bOpWqaggST
If you want to delete an empty column you need to know that empty columns are part of the row, and you can’t delete the column only the row that holds the column, this can be done with: using the right click on the row icon -> http://prntscr.com/owlyuw -> http://prntscr.com/owlynq or using the drag and drop -> http://prntscr.com/owlz2r or you can simply click on the row and press the delete button from your keyboard.

Hope this helps you!

Hello,

You did not even read what i am trying to do. Mobile responsive header is different from desktop header. In Desktop you can modify header via tagdivComposer in mobile there is no such option for that. So i need to modify the template. I know where to do that in plugin but i am aksing you if there is a cleaner way to do this insted of changing core files in plugins? To be honest your theme is the first that i see that theme files are in plugin which is not good practice.

Kind Regards,
– Thomas

Hello!

If you use a cloud/PRO post template, then you need to access your post, edit with TagDiv Composer plugin, click on the element called “Single Post Author” for displaying the author and simply delete it. This change should reflect on every other posts which has the same template.

Take a look here to see exactly how to edit a post: https://www.screencast.com/t/SJay3CdCwK7a
Note that you need to access a post from your website, then edit with TagDiv Composer.

Please try to click on that element text and you should be able to delete it. You can see a recycle bin basket or just press the key DELETE.

Hope that helps you!

Hello!

If you use a cloud/PRO post template, then you need to access your post, edit with TagDiv Composer plugin, add the elements called “Single Post Author” for displaying the author and “Single Post Date” for displaying the date and time.

Take a look here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/formatting-date-and-time/

Hello !

If you are using a cloud library header you have to manually set the fonts on your elements using tagDiv composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/jjfS3BygErGP and in the Style tab you will find the fonts.

Hi,

The footer templates do not have the button to be edited with tagDiv Composer in the backend. Please check this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
The footer template can be edited only from the frontend if it is assigned, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to the footer. => https://www.screencast.com/t/rpfNhfyrF

Hope this helps you!

Thank you!

Hi, we use Cloud templates for header and other pages, and no problem, all of them allow you to edit with TagDiv composer.
But now we wanted to change our footer too into this cloud system and this happens:
you can create it (we tried both blank page and existing samples) then at this moment it allows you to edit it with TagDiv. As soon as you save it and close it. The option to edit with TagDiv composer is not there anymore.

We believe this to be a bug, as for everything else works perfectly.

Hopefully it can be easily solved!
Thanks in advance

Hello!

You can try to insert with TagDiv Composer the ads in an element called “Ad box”.
Please note that you need to use a cloud/PRO template in order to edit with that plugin mentioned above.
It seems you have a responsive version for mobile. If you want to modify it, then you need to access the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB and there you can see your mobile version.

Hope that helps you!

Hello,

english is not my native language, but I’ll try my best to explain the issue:

I’m currently trying to install video ads on my website. I want this ad to be in content, which is actually working. (I’m using the plugin Advanced Ads Pro for this)

My problem: These video ad is supposed to stick to the bottom right corner of screen when scrolled past. When I insert the video ad into the sidebar this is working beautifully. It’s also working when I insert the ad code into the content of the standard single post templates.
BUT as soon as I put the video ad code into a text element (single post content, text with title) via. tagDiv composer, the ad doesn’t stick to the right corner of the screen anymore. It’s like trapped in the text element and being shown in the bottom right corner of the tagdiv element.

I’ve added some images, so you can understand my issue properly:

With Tagdiv single post template the video ad aligns to the bottom right of the text element.
https://prnt.sc/10uxy2n

With a normal post template the ad aligns correctly to the bottom right corner on the screen:
https://prnt.sc/10uxysd

I also want to mention that there is no plugin conflict or anything like that.
This whole issue also occurs when I try to implement the “sticky video” function from the Newspaper theme. I think it’s underlying the same error.

Help me

https://s8.directupload.net/images/210324/gfvsiq2a.jpg

On the Website, the Colors a gone and the Font is strange.

Hi, how to remove the module color overlay on first page? It seems like there is no way to remove the grey overlay on the tagdiv composer?

Thanks / Olof

Hello!

You can only modify the footer with TagDiv Composer if you go to a page where it is assigned and edit that page with TagDiv Composer, and then you will have access to the footer also. For example, edit your homepage with TagDiv Composer, scroll till footer, click on footer zone and you can edit it.

Thank you!
