The prefix vc is for visual composer. It is a plugin included with the theme. You’ll want to activate the plugin in the plugins area of the WordPress admin.
wp-admin >> Plugins >> Installed Plugins
Find the visual composer and activate.
Here are some instructions on how to use it.
Same problem here like Tobbix. The option to decide which paragraph the ads show has dissapeared.
I re-installed the theme using FTP (overwrite files). Cleared / disabled cache. Still not there.

I messed with WP about 7 years ago and could just never get the hang of it. I am getting ready to start traveling and I came across this theme and though the travel blog would be great. I was massing with he settings, again have no clue what I am doing (I am a web design btw) and decided to just install the travel blog theme and edit it since it would save precious time. After I installed the demo, I get this weird bit of code at the top and I am unsure if it is user error or theme error…

I’m bit confused here and wondering what is exactly resizing images into these multiple sizes. I uploaded an article with featured and content images after installing this theme. I saw all those images (featured and content) created into multiple sizes.
What plugin/theme part generating these thumb image sizes?
How can I limit these thumb images only for featured image?

I had the “Newspaper -> News Magazine” installed and it was working fine. I then started to play around with other themes and installed the “Newspaper -> Local News” theme. For some stange reason article posts are being inserted automatically into my database! I don’t know how! I have reverted back to “Newspaper -> News Magazine”. I haven’t got any feeds installed to import articles. I haven’t set up any rss import feeds. I only have “tagdiv mobile theme”, “tagdiv social counter”, and “wpbakery visual composer” plugins installed.
What is going on???

Install theme via FTP is the best way to properly do it.
Good afternoon, I bought the theme today, and I installed without problems, but nothing of my posts appears, I installed the TECH demo, to use as a base, but I can not put my posts.
I needed to know just where the page is or where I have to access to exchange the demo posts for my already published posts.
My site already has 5000 posts, and I need to hit home.
Where do I move? Is it some page that has it all?

OK — WOW …
Got it figured out now — TagDiv composer conflicts with Visual Composer!! I turned each plugin and and off individually, checking each time my actual site. Nothing changed the layout until I got down to tagdiv composer!!! When I turned that on, the layout broke!!!
So I need Visual Composer on, but not tagdiv composer. I first thought they were the same, then figured having both wouldn’t matter…but it does. TagDiv composer breaks the Visual Composer layout!!!
You may wanna fix that since they both come from you…or add a warning to both installs to use just one or the other…or not to use tagdiv composer ever for themes requiring visual composer.

I disabled all plugins, but don’t see visual composer in the list. All I see is a plugin called TD Composer. I left that one on just to check but no change. I turned it off and no change. Can’t seem to find Visual Composer even with a search in the new plugins page.
Should we check this again after installing Visual Composer…and where can I find Visual Composer?

Hello,
The best thing to do when updating your theme from version 4 is to delete your old theme and simply install the new one. Please make sure you do a back-up before. Then you need to run the update script as suggested here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Make sure you update the plugins as well. Some parts of your website will need to be recreated as elements became deprecated in visual composer so it will require a bit of work on your side.
Sorry for the inconvenience but this is the case when updating from newspaper 4. The new version of our theme was built from scratch so it will be like switching to a new theme (sort of, as we tried to keep compatibility between the 2 as much as possible)

Please try to make a new clean install or also, make there a new sub-domain where you should install the latest version of the theme with the latest version of required plugins, without any additional customizations. Notice that our theme is mobile friendly as you can see in our demo here -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ If you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of these and install only the required plugins and rule out any conflicts. Check your customizations and try to revert the theme to the default state and check the results. Please try to restore the theme to it;s default state. You do not need any plugin for the theme to be responsive. Your site looks nothing like our theme demo. You altered the theme functionality so please restore it to the theme defaults and then test responsiveness again. Our theme is responsive as anyone on this forum can confirm.
Please redo any customization, disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test responsiveness again. You can create a sub-domain for tests and install wp and the theme there to see how the theme should look in it;s default unaltered state. It should look exactly like this: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/

This looks like a caching issue related to the mobile theme. Please disable the mobile theme plugin and test again. We only recommend wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ and for cdn: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Also please cotact your host and ask if there is any host related cache as that can influence the theme as well.
Plugins can also cause these issues so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and rest cdn files if you use it.
If you use a child theme, switch to the main theme to test the posts again.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an options in this regard, sorry! Regarding on updating theme we have three way which can update the theme, like this -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

You have to update your version of visual composer. That is why you see the error. You are trying to install a version of VC that is not supported anymore. I suppose that you have some problem with your theme install. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of it which is Newsmag 3.2 and also, the latest version of required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet (Visual Composer 4.12.1 and Social Counter 4.1). Please ensure that you have installed all of these, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. Your Theme panel->Ads Section should look like this -> http://screencast.com/t/x2NrdQtnQnYc If you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of these and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins.

I put my ad code in your customized spots, but ads weren’t showing on the posts that blow up to cover the whole page. I’ve examined closely and see no difference in the way Sample 1 and Sample 2 were written or in the settings.
As you can imagine, significant loss of revenue on what should have been our first huge day.
I have 88K page views today and Adsense only showing 8.4 because of the incorrect posts (Sample 2).
