First you need to register a new menu in theme’s code. This can be achieved by editing td_menu.php file like here: http://screencast.com/t/tgr3kM9WCL5 Then you’ll need a new template for your custom menu where will be generated its html structure. The file can be included in /parts/header for example: http://screencast.com/t/NChrbwmx2 Last step would be to call this file where you want to display the new menu. It can be called in header.php like here: http://screencast.com/t/mOD9rmKg – http://screencast.com/t/DpakexXBZ

This was just a basic example about how can be added a new menu but it can be customized in many different ways to achieve the desired result. Note that this is a very complex task which require many customizations in theme’s files and also good coding skills are involved in order to complete it. We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.

We decided to keep all css/js code in single files to limit the requests made by the theme to server. For example if we divide the css in five files could appear some of these situations:
– on a simple page it may be required only one file which will be loaded very fast and its size it’s also very low. This is a good thing.
– on a complex page with many elements on it most likely will be required all five css files. That means five requests to the server instead of one. This may not be a big issue on sites with low traffic but if a site hit let’s say 10000 visitors per day this will be a big issue.

Hi, thanks for your answer, but it’s not what I meant.
What I need is a file for importing into my wordpress with everything that has the theme demo (images, content and estructure).
In other issues I downloaded, there is a sample .xml to import, and thus the configuration of the issue is much simpler.

I want to mention here you take too much time in replay. According to your reply, I have just test your theme demo http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/, at the mentioned link. https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

But the soooooooo many problems as was in case of mine. Both for mobile and desktop.
You can also check directly from the above mentioned link as I am not sending screenshot with this message. I am mentioning some issues that are same for all the websites that are using newspaper theme.

The most important that needs removal immediately.

• Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
• Size tap targets appropriately

There are several others but I am just talking about these two because I don’t know how to tackle & go through with it. Where JavaScript and CSS going to block & what is meant by above-the-fold content? Which tap needs adjustments?

But these issues looking huge problem with the theme? If there is any solution then please provide us as soon as possible. Especially the first one needs immediate attention.

I’m not posting it somewhere or themeforest except here, also I don’t want to give -ve reviews about newspaper. As, I know that this stage required so much effort that you’r team and you had made.

The 7 days most popular posts works like this:
– first you need to have post view counter enabled from theme panel > post settings: http://screencast.com/t/RvqvczK4hiJ
– the sort start counting from the moment all conditions are meet, for example if you enabled the post view counter yesterday the theme will display posts with most views staring from yesterday. The theme will not consider the previous post’s views, will consider only the views from the moment when popular sort it’s enabled and post view counter is also active on the page.

do you have any suggestions what is the alternative for tabs? or at least I want to have that 2 parts (terpopuler & terkini) on a 2/3 section

I disabled my plugings but everything continues as before. I only have: W3 Total Cache, WP Smush, Yoast SEO, Loginizer, Contact Form 7, tagDiv Social Counter, akismet and Poll, Quiz & List by OpinionStage.

Also I’ve discover a new problem with the youtube block. I’ll show you the image, the border is in the upper block (on PC browser is ok).

We didn’t tested Advanced Custom Fields Pro to work with the theme and we’re not aware of its functionality in order to provide an answer. However I’ve made a quick test and the plugin works fine but you need to use do_shortcode function to display a form on a post or page. Basicaly you need to edit the file corresponding with the post/page template used and add the shortcode on there using do_shortcode function.
If you want to display a form on a specific page you can use a condition like this: http://screencast.com/t/ROGHlaSJ

}

Note that this customization require some basic coding skills in order to be achieved. If you can’t make this by yourself my advice is to look for someone which can help you wit implementation as we can’t offer customizations services at the moment.

Maybe I’m not explaining it the right way to you.
I’m not using a 700px image. I upload every image with a size of 1920 x 1080px. I understand that the theme makes different sizes images.

On the homepage I use block 4. The theme uses the 324x160px created images for this block. For bigger screens you have 3 posts next to eachother on regular sized screens. Looks perfect. For the smaller screens you get one post under another screen wide. This works perfect to.

Unless the screen is between about 400px and 750px. You still get one post under another screen wide, but because the theme uses the 324x160px created image, that small image has to cover a width of up to 750px on for example a tablet. And thats when it looks bad. And that’s what I want to fix.

I’m having difficulty with css and Javascript minify, I’ve tried some plug-ins which performe this action, but they blocked some theme features like Ajax filters for example.
