TD Composer compatibility with ACF plugin - topic

Hello. Is there a way for the team to make td composer compatible with the advanced custom fields plugin? I had to roll back to default template for posts just to create custom related posts for each post with the plugin. And please don’t copy paste that message about the plugin having not been tested with the theme. I just need an honest answer on how custom fields of ACF can work with td composer.

Hi,
i still have the same problem. When i make some changes in the theme panel, then my template settings is gonna default. I put some templates from cloud library, like; 404 Template 7, Date Template 2, Search Template 5…, and after some changes template setting is gonna default. I dont have any plugins that are not tasted with Newspaper. My plugins are; Akismet Anti-Spam, Classic Editor, Contact Form 7, Jetpack by WordPress.com, Regenerate Thumbnails, tagDiv AMP, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Newsletter, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Speed Booster, TinyMCE Advanced, WP Super Cache, Yoast SEO.

My system status;

Hey support.

I followed the instructions and updated the theme to a newer version. But after doing that, i tried previewing everything, and my website was disorganized. All they settings and styles, were changed, and i was unable to see even the composer.

What can i do?

I received this error “The current content page hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer “https://gyazo.com/9f2ace1042424efa15590c4b0a04ef31 when renaming the page title. Specifically I got this error in the situation below

Step 1: Create a new page named “abc”, open “tagDiv composer” to edit the content and save. It worked fine
Step 2: Change the page name from “abc” for “abc1” in here https://gyazo.com/697eb930e1d392bd4902ca474e685124
Step 3: Open “tagdiv composer” to continue edit the page “abc1”; however at this step I encounter the error message https://gyazo.com/9f2ace1042424efa15590c4b0a04ef31

In summary, whenever i change the page title of any page created by composer before, I can’t continue editting that page using tag div composer anymore.

Updated to Newspaper 9 now text in editor is white - reply

We just updated to the latest version that is when this started. Now td composer is hanging and am unable to save any changes made in td composer sending email credentials tonight. Happy holidays 🙂

Having same issue, followed instructions to update (max_input_vars, max_execution_time, etc.) and it was working fine. Stopped working recently. Now cannot save any edits in td composer.

Happy Holidays!

I updated to the latest version of the theme, I updated to WordPress 4.9.9 (no 5), and unfortunately I continue to encounter this problem, almost every day I find myself with tagDiv Composer turned off, which I have to manually reactivate.

I ask you a solution, a way to block this situation, the deactivation of the plugin. tagDiv Composer should not deactivate automatically!

td-composer keep loading for long time after save changes on home page. system statuses are green everywhere (max_execution_time, max_input_vars)

1. The js_composer.zip (wpbakery page builder) plugin why can’t be used anymore, the plugin does not appear again in the edit / add page, what is possible because of requesting activation, how to activate it.
2. Please provide a clearer explanation of how to use tagdiv composer

Hi,

Yes, that will be the proper way to do it. The full theme packages contain a plugins folder, there you will find the WPBakery page builder as well

The latest theme package contains the latest WPBakery version – 5.6.

@adamshut Does it happen when you access the page to edit it with the composer, or while saving the page in the composer?
Currently there is an issue when attempting to save in the composer, it is caused by the mobile theme plugin. The issue is investigated and will be fixed.

Hello,

How are you implementing the shortcode?
The default way of implementing any shortcodes into the composer pages, is through a column text element. Please use only the column text and not manually add the code in the back-end editor.

Hi,

Please notice that we do not recommend to use Newspaper 8.8 with the latest version of Visual Composer, sorry! If you want to use the latest version of Visual Composer, you have to download the latest theme’s packet from your Theme Forest account because this has included the latest version of required plugins.

Did you ad the code in the htaccess? This fixed such issues for most users. If you add the code and the composer still will not work, pleasecontact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate.

To change elements in the page content, edit it with the composer

You can then edit/remove/add the elements you want. Here is a block settings guide as well

Hello – I’ve encountered an issue in Newspaper where I’ve set up a logo and main menu, and I’d like to position my first element directly under the main menu. However, I can’t seem to move it and I’ve tried using TD Composer, still no luck. Please let me know if this is possible?

Hello,

I am getting this error for pages where I have used shortcodes of the plugin WP Coupons and Deals.

So how can I fix it as if I disable the plugin it seems to work properly but on activating and trying to edit thru TD Composer it’s giving me error.

So i am also suffering the no load syndrome of tagDiv Composer.
It keeps on spinning until it gives the “not responding” message
i was with BlueHost support and they could not help. After checking php and memory setting ( already higher), i had no choice but to come here

Any help will be appreciated

HI,

When I added a block to the homepage the only way I could add a side bar was splitting the page in tag div compsure. The issue I have now is when I add a new block or a big slider for example everything is squashed into the two columns. I’d like to retain the side bar and column underneath but have a full width row or slider above. It seems once the page has been split one cannot have different layouts in the blocks? How can I achieve this? Can dividers be used

I just updated from 8.8 to the latest version. I read that visual composer got updated as well. How do I find/activate the update?
