Maybe there are other conflicts.
Please make the bellow steps:
Reset the license key from Newspaper > System status, after that delete the tagDiv Composer plugin, then go in Newspaper > plugins and reinstall the tagDiv Composer plugin from there and activate the theme with the license key.

The amp version has a simple design to make it as fast as it is possible, so our developers added the mobile theme as an amp template, but, indeed the settings for layout are only a few -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Also the /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php is the right path for amp if you use it with mobile theme plugin, unfortunately, this can not be set in child theme, that file can be overwrite only in the original files.

Please make sure that you installed the theme correctly and you also activate theme.
What I can recommend is to reset the license key from the Newsmag > system status, after that delete the tagDiv Composer and reinstall it from Newsmag > plugins, then activate the theme.

The settings from Theme panel are useful for the default templates. If you have the latest update of the theme and your settings from the theme panel are missing and you use default templates, then please make sure you have Standard pack plugin installed and active (Newspaper -> Plugins).
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
For the page speed, I can recommend you some solutions in order to increase the score.

Unfortunately, in our theme we do not have dark mode and light mode. Only dark demos which you can find in the Newspaper -> Prebuilt Websites.

The blog page was made using tagDiv Composer? because looks more like a default page that can not be edited. If was made using the theme builder, please make a test, set a different page as blog page and try to edit the page after that, most of the time is working, if works, then save the changes and set it back as blog page.

Most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error. Usually, when it is from a shortcode the problem is only on the pages that use that shortcode.
Also this can be a plugin conflict, so you can make a test using only tagDiv plugins.

To set the featured image on full width of page, you’ll need to use tagDiv Composer to edit the cloud template, set a row on full width -> https://i.imgur.com/7zhVDrw.jpg then drag the featured image on that row, then just adjust the image format -> https://i.imgur.com/hGcplfS.jpg
You can reinstall the demo like you said or you can get only the cloud templates from cloud and replace them.

Please execute these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.

If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.

The tagDiv Standard pack plugin is not part from the Newsmag theme. hat you need to do is to disable and delete the tagDiv Composer plugin, then reinstall it from Newsmag > plugins and check if the problem persist. Please check it only with the theme plugins enabled.
In case that the problem is persisting, please make a full backup and contact us at contact@tagdiv.com, make a full backup for your website and provide wp-admin and cPanel access. We’ll check it as soon as possible!
