I have just installed Newspaper 9 theme and installed the Baby demo all is working fine however I do not have the Edit with TD Composer option on my homepage front end.
If I go to Dashboard-Pages there is the Option ‘Edit with Tag Div Composer’ but if I click it I get an error:
This page isn’t working
social.learnermama.com didn’t send any data
ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
Not sure what the issue is as the Plugin seems to be installed and active ok and everything else seems to be working ok so far.
Any help appreciated.

That would be a common WordPress error, there are various suggestions and solutions online to try and see why this is happening. Even the hosting provider may have an idea what the problem is.
But the easier solution would be to install the plugin a different way.By FTP for example

It could be an issue with curl with your hosting setup. You could contact the hosting provider, they may be able to help. Or install the plugins by FTP.

So they worked before? Then it could be some recent modifications that caused the problem. Maybe you installed a plugin, added some code in the theme panel, theme files, child theme etc.
Those would be the first things to check. Deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, remove code modifications or code additions in theme files or panel, clear the cache then check again.

Hi,
I bought the Newspaper theme of WordPress recently. After making the site online my TagDiv composer is not working. When I click on ‘Edit with TD composer‘ link to try to edit the website it gives me this error:
“This page isn’t working. http://www.rebellionrider.com didn’t send any data. ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE.” in google chrome and “The Connection Was reset” in firefox
I also tried reinstalling the theme as well as the plugins. Moreover, my site fulfills all the parameters like php.ini, wp-config stated in your documentation. I’ve attached the screenshot of the same within the email which I have sent to contact@wpion.com. Kindly please help ASAP as my website is already online & I may lose a lot of traffic due to the fault in my TD composer.

Just installed Newspaper 8 and get this error: tagdiv importer detected an error
I have searched the forum and see that more people have encountered the same problem, but I can´t find any solution. I have checked the permissions and also the debug is set to false. I tried to install with all the plugins deactivated (read in internet), but the problem persist.
I´ve sent a couple of mails to support, but got no answer yet.
Please, let me know what I can do about.

JUst one last question:
I’ve tried a few times to update the website that is running Newspaper 7.8.1 to 9.2.2.
Usually I am able to install the update (and I’ve always follow the online instructions at https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/) but after the installation, when I try to activate the theme, the site and wp back office goes blank.
I noticed that the folder that has the theme zip folder, plugins, pdf’s, etc, comes with a folder called “patch_9.2_9.2.2”
Do I need also to apply the files on this folder with the update? And if so, how to do it?

How to correctly set up mobile plugin menu of newspaper for different languages.
I did install the plugin and created 2 mobile menus and assigned them to the correct place.
After that I wen to theme panel to mobile settings and from there I can only choose one menu as mobile menu.
If I choose only one it shows this language menu for all versions but if I dont choose anything at all the menus is blank.

Using 8.6 and have been waiting for the WP5 to be released etc
Still using WP4.9 and this morning i tried update from 8.6 to latest version 9.2.1
after install it loads the menu and header then nothing
In the back end i open the homepage TagDiv composer and it gives the error
Error at rows: 3(models) : 1(dom). The model does not match the content
opened developer tool in chrome and got

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)
reverted back to old version and had a lot of [vc] [/vc] code on the home page
In admin had a notice saying the TagDiv composer and TagDiv Social Counters do not work with this version
noticed in plugins the TagDiv composer is version 2.3 – so reverted back to version 1 and now i have my site back
what is the best approach to update
should I install tagDiv Speed Booster plugin in newspaper 9.2.2
I have also installed the other plugins and the WP VC composer plugin but only the tagdiv composer is showing and error.

In quite a few cases with similar issues, the problem was solved by installing a newer PHP version on the server. The hosting provider should be able to help you with this. If possible use PHP 7.1 or 7.2, not the newer 7.3, we haven’t tested with the newer versions yet.
You could check the PHP version used and update if necessary, then try again. Chances are the issue will be fixed.

I have uploaded/installed the other plugins for the NewsMag theme. but when installing the tagDiv Composer plugins it shows a “500 International’s Server” error. Also I have tried manually uploaded the plugin on FTP and activated it and shows “500 International’s Server”. Only the tagdiv composer plugin gives me this error other plugin’s are ok to install/upload.
I recently downloaded and installed the theme, downloaded the demo (lifestyle blog), activated the theme, and now tagdiv composer won’t open. I have tried this on two different computers. When I click on tagdiv composer I get an error stating the server dropped the connection. I’m new to WordPress and thought that this would be easier than this.
I have installed other plugins and other wp themes on my site and no error found but when I uploaded your “tagDiv Composer plugin”. I destroy my site and shows a 500 International’s Server Error.
