I tested this option again and a subscriber cannot see the edit button. Please make sure the user you are testing is a subscriber as our theme uses the default user roles of WP. https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
If you still get the edit button, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Thentest a subscriber account again.

If you want to hide this warning, you will have to find in plugin file and remove from there the code which calls this warning. Please notice that we cannot provide a solution in this regard because we can not alter the plugin code, sorry!
So, if you are unhappy with our theme and if you want a refund, please make a request at contact@tagdiv.com in this regard and please specify there which are the main reasons for refunding.

Please ensure that you have updated your theme to the latest version of it (Newspaper 7.1.1, Visual Composer 4.11.2 and Social Counter 4.1) only through FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, if you are some trouble with saving and if you are using the Wordfence plugin, please try to disable it or try to set it according to Bryson T advice, from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using an old version of our theme. Please notice that the Newspaper evolving and the latest version of it is 7.1.1. Please try to update the theme to the latest version of it and also, with the latest version of each required plugin -> Social Counter 4.1 and Visual Composer 4.11.2. Try to clear all your cache and check the results.

Please notice that this is the built-in feature and it cannot be called with Visual Composer. So, if you need to develop our theme or if you want to display more levels and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry! Also, if you are using some untested plugins with our theme, please try to disable them and leave just Visual Composer to active and install only the plugins that come bundled withy our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please keep in mind that the Visual Composer affects only the content page, what is between main menu bar and footer section. So, if you want to add some text under your Logo section, please notice that you will have to alter the code from the header style used by you. For instance, if you are using the header style 10 and if you want to add some text there, you will have to use the do_shortcode method to add this. It is possible that some untested plugins which you are using in theme to create some conflicts which might create some issue with the thumbs.

Please notice that our theme has not been designed to be used in full-width, but only in this size ->1068*580px. So, another alternative for your would be to use the Revolution Slider.
