Hello!
Yes, you need to install it!
Please do step by step the configuration there and check if it is working for you.
Thank you!
Hello,
When you install a Pro Prebuilt Website, templates for categories, pages, posts, etc. are assigned, like here => https://www.screencast.com/t/cTNKHdBBOIAl for a pro prebuilt website you can create a sidebar using tagDiv Composer, you can check these videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa7GenCHcBU -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m8-EebnfM0
So, if you want to use a standard template for categories you need to set it to “No Template” => https://www.screencast.com/t/DvfvX5KiaDg and then you will have “custom sidebar+position”
Thank you!
Hello,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
When you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, if you don’t want to use the mobile theme or AMP plugin you can deinstall the plugins.
Thank you!
Hi, I have now had the Magazine theme for 5 months, but I have completely customized it. There is nothing left of the Magazine theme and all the blocks have been customized by me and changed several times. I am having problems with the page loading (there are 2 requests out of 78 that load after 15 seconds. I have already asked for a technical intervention but you have told me that there are no problems … I am not convinced of this. There is something blocking the rendering for 10/15 seconds). I would like to try to install the standard Newspaper theme but I don’t want to lose my custom theme. How can I save my entire custom theme? I want to give it a try by putting the standard Newspaper theme but if this does not affect the loading I want to go back to my custom theme. How can I do?
I would also like to do a clean install of the Standard theme by removing everything from the custom theme. How can I go about doing a clean installation?
Sorry for the many questions but for me it is important to find a solution as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Hello!
Our recommendation is the WP Super Cache plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria,
I just deleted all WordPress, the database, the Newspaper theme, then I fresh installed the whole thing.
my site is blog.garpu.id and I’m using Gourmet Pro demo content.
please see screenshots at https://imgur.com/a/GLd9z9u
when I have installed the Newspaper theme but I haven’t installed the Gourmet Pro demo content, I can see the custom category sidebar at the theme panel.
but after I installed the Gourmet Pro demo content, the “custom sidebar+position” is gone.
I have tried uninstalled the demo content, I can see the custom sidebar option again. and when I tried to install the Gourmet Pro again, the custom sidebar option is gone again.
please advise 🙂 thank you.
edit:
I’m not using any other plugins other than tagDiv’s.
haven’t change options in WordPress as well.

When I want to display the same content on mobile and on desktop I do not need these, says your documentation. What is your advice, should I uninstall these plugins or is there another (better) way to do this?
Please your advice.
Kind regards,
Anne
Hello!
If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
– https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
Please give it a try and follow the steps which I presented above about page speed.
Also, check our guide from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster ; make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date(specially Standard Pack installed and active if you use default templates).
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
We recommend using WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
We tested our tool, and we have such great results!
Take a look in this topic because it could help you: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/css-analyzer-step-by-step-and-doubts/

Dear,
it’s ok.
I remove the old version and install a new one and it’s OK.
Thansk for your support!
Hello, @adrianliem,
Can you send me the link to your website?
Please do these steps
1. disable all tagDiv plugins
2. uninstall all tagDiv plugins
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. re-install all tagDiv plugins again from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/WLy01lbc
5. activate all tagDiv plugins
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Also, make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date.
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

My issues were caused by Wordfence, a security plugin installed on a different folder/website. Set Wordfence’s firewall to ‘Learning Mode’ and that solved the problem.
Hello!
You can have a sticky menu only in a responsive version or mobile pages. Please check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-menu-58/
If you have installed Mobile Theme plugin, then you can not modify or customize it so much because Mobile Theme has its own design template.
For more information, check our documentation here:

Related to Google Pagespeed, unfortunately, there is no button to hit and you’re score is high. You need to try to optimize your website and respect all conditions from that list.

Hello !
Please send us a screenshot of your System Status Tab and make sure that all the requirements are met as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ ; You will have to first start looking for a plugin conflict. please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also you can try and remove and re-install the tagDiv Composer plugin and please send us a link to your website in order to take a look.
Let us know the results.

Hi,
If you use a standard template from the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin for categories, and not appear in Theme Panel, please make sure this plugin is activated.
In the new update, this plugin is no longer required because the new demos are using cloud templates.
Standard Pack is used only for default templates and not for cloud/PRO templates. In your case, if you want to use standard templates, then you can install the Standard Pack plugin.
Thank you!
Hi culturerise,
Your posts were made using some builders? or using the WordPress default editor? Because with our theme the posts is recommended to be made only with default WordPress editor.
The settings from theme panel are global and should apply on entire website. Did you install a pre-build website? Because those have set extra css class -> https://i.imgur.com/TQtLhVj.png added on body and are overwriting some options from theme panel.
Also please make sure that you are using the latest WordPress version.
Thank you!
Hello !
This happens because not all of your templates are fully editable using tagDiv Composer. You can either import a template for each option you would like to customize ( template for posts. template for categories, template for author, etc…) And that can be done by going into the Cloud Library:https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
Or the easier way is to simply install a PRO Demo https://forum.tagdiv.com/demos_introduction/ ; All the PRO Demos are fully editable using tagDiv Composer.
I hope this was helpful!
Thank you!

Upgrading AMP plug-in (on 7 May 2021) totally trashed the site.
After deleting it and reinstalling it on a staging site, we got the following error message
Notice: amp_has_paired_endpoint was called incorrectly. Function called while AMP is disabled via ‘amp_is_enabled’ filter. The service ID “paired_routing” is not recognized and cannot be retrieved. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 2.1.1.) in /wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5313
Hello,
I’ve spent the past few weeks trying to improve our Google Pagespeed performance and while it has gotten somewhat better in a few metrics, we’re still far off from where we should be.
We’re currently using our latest posts as our homepage instead of a separate page. When we install the tagdiv Mobile theme, it creates cumulative shift layout issues so we have it deactivated.
I tried to create a separate page to use as the homepage with the same design. I created a copy version for the mobile site and connected it to our page as your guide instructs, but it won’t show any articles on mobile, even though we are not using the mobile theme. I read on the forum that the mobile theme could be causing this issue, but it’s clearly something else altogether.
I have also tried to run your CSS Analyzer for the page to improve Google Pagespeed metrics, but it keeps timing out at different points and won’t finish. I have deactivated plugins for caching and other things to try to get your CSS Analyzer to work, but it keeps timing out.
All things considered, I feel like I’ve done everything I reasonably can from my end and yet our Google Pagespeed scores are still poor and now of the options I have found from reading the forum and your guides has produced a solution.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could please help us out with this.
Thank you
I’ve just installed Newsmag to replace an old Hickory theme for my website. Now I cannot edit any of the old posts and the newly added posts are not following the formats of Newsmag. It’s a complete mess and there doesn’t seem to be a way to fix this apart from manually updating every single post. Is there not a way to format posts that carry across the entire site? When I make changes in the panel, for example to font size or colour, none of them carry over to the new or existing posts. Plus none of my images in the media library are appearing.
Good Morning,
I added some plugins I need to my WordPress installation, and now I am trying to integrate on the website – that is MailPoet, an even calendar and some other stuff. I could not find any hint in the builder how to do this. What am I missing? It is pretty easy on Elementar, here I find the added plugins in my editing menu…
Any help is much appreciated.
Best
Daniel
Anyone else having an issue with the latest AMP WordPress Plugin 2.1? I updated today and the site would not load got a high cpu spike and could not get into site with safemode and had to use CPanel’s WordPress Toolkit to display the plugin and site loads again. I went ahead and deleted the deactivated plugin then use the Plugin Page of Newspaper Theme Panel to install, and it did but when I try to activate will not activate. I get this error in the debug logs:
PHP Notice: Trying to get property ‘term_id’ of non-object in /home/fwbp/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/state/category/tdb_state_category.php on line 313
PHP Notice: Trying to get property ‘cat_ID’ of non-object in /home/fwbp/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/state/category/tdb_state_category.php on line 489
Not sure these errors are related.
Thought I would ask if anyone else had this issue, or if I have some plugin compabilty issue.
Hello,
When you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Also, usually, the problem is from the cache plugin used, because the mobile layout will have a different design and most of the cache plugins do not recognize this and provide the mobile version for desktop (or vice versa).
Also, if you use multiple cache plugins this problem may occur.
We tested and recommend the WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
