Hello,
Our theme is a frontend theme for most of the elements and changes, you’ll need to use the tagDiv Composer to edit the pages and templates for posts/categories, etc => https://i.imgur.com/I3OUYxr.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/mMrEufY.jpg
Usually, the color and image are set on the row, so please edit and select the row https://i.imgur.com/EEompTi.jpg -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/background-color-of-the-main-menu-be-changed/
Hope this help you!
Thank you!
Hi there 🙂 I’m sure there is a way to edit the blocks at the bottom of page (not posts) template, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I have gone into the “Website Manager”, and there really isn’t much regarding that. Even the fonts don’t change. How can I edit this? Thanks so much in advance 🙂
Hello @MeghaRajpara!
You need to take into account many factors:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors.
We have 3 options of mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use which one is more affordable and useful for you.
If you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here: https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.

Hello Ben!
I’ve checked your website and it seems that your responsive version looks similar as your desktop. If you use a mobile page, then please assign it again and see the results.

I can see that the register button doesn’t work at all, neither in desktop. Please re-check!

Hi,
If you want to use the tagDiv Composer, then you can set the shortcodes on column text and text with title where it is also use the classic editor -> https://i.imgur.com/fngLIwW.png
Or you can just used the Gutenberg editor and use for mobile the responsive version or the mobile page template (not the mobile theme plugin).
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, you can share it via email contact@tagdiv.com, just add the link of this topic too.
When the mobile version is on desktop, usually is a problem with the cache plugin. Most probably you are using the mobile theme or mobile page template and the cache plugin that you have do not recognize it. Most of the time this is solving by enabling from the cache plugin the mobile support. We recommend to use Wp Super Cache plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
If the changes are saved but after page refresh old settings are back, then it is possible that the changes to be delivered from an object cache.
Also, some times can be a plugin conflict, so you can also make a test using only tagdiv plugins.
On this post https://www.rcrwireless.com/qualcomm-analyst-day-2022 you have set a different header per single post template and this is also set on the mobile using the same element from desktop and not the mobile menu (you can edit it using tagDiv Composer) -> https://i.imgur.com/qExqf5r.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/w00kC00.png
Thank you!
Hello Calin,
The mobile plugin takes over everything on mobile.
Is there a way to override some pages to use the responsive version on mobile? If not yet, can this be planned?
I would like to:
1. Create a Cloud Template for Single Posts
2. Assign this template to specific categories
3. Make sure this template is available to mobile users even though I have the mobile theme plugin installed.
I am doing this because I have the mobile theme installed with Ads in the content on it.
I want different posts without Ads in the content body.
I don’t want to disable the mobile theme for the whole site.
Thanks
Hi.
Currently, only one search result page can be specified in the theme panel.
Is there a way to specify cloud templates and WordPress standard search result pages by category and taxonomy?
Thank you for your help.
I’ve seen that the new update for the theme arrived in that day.
But can you help me with the CSS? I use the Single Post Template 2 for my articles page. What CSS code should is post to the Custom CSS to add space (20px) between the text element and the add.
I use all the ad places from the single post theme.
Thanks.

Hi, im still installing the template on my website but im having a wierd issue. In this pic: https://imgur.com/a/gDxcijk you can see an author template im fixing but when i click on preview or enter this link (https://gamersrd.com/author/ghostraider79/) is just sending me to my Home page, its happening with all other users (even new ones i create).
Best regards
Hi,
There was added a new option to turn on/off the undo option (there were users that asked for this option), so you can enable it from manager -> https://i.imgur.com/2c9zYoW.jpg
Now, most of the time when that message is display, then it is an element on the page that is interfering with the theme, it can also be a plugin.
I checked the screenshot and I saw a strange thing -> https://i.imgur.com/sU564sc.png is this look the same on a new page?
What you ca do is to use the revisions for that page or cloud template -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/
We also made a guide, please check it: When tagDiv Composer is not working -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/
If the problem persist, we can take a look at it, make a full backup for your website
and please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com provide wp-admin access and include the link of this topic. We’ll check it as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Hi,
1. About the post -> https://i.imgur.com/jWmZAbh.jpg I think that you have set on the homepage the element “homepage post” element -> https://i.imgur.com/5ACgRQE.png > https://i.imgur.com/tJazQ69.jpg remove it from the page and the first post that display the image on the full size will be removed.
2. This situation can appear from more problems.
For example it can be from a plugin conflict, for this you need to make a test using only tagDiv plugins.
Also, this problem can appear only on specific page, or it can be do to a code set in the header or footer (you can test it by setting the default header and footer -> https://i.imgur.com/VVlG7W7.png), in this case what you can do is to use the revisions for that page or cloud template -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/
We also made a guide, please check it: When tagDiv Composer is not working -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-not-working/

I have two websites on Newspaper theme that I was doing a footer update on. One site saved just fine, the other site’s TagDiv composer is only saving the header area and will not save changes in other sections.
Tried editing the footer in the Home page TagDiv Composer and the Cloud Templates Footer TagDiv Composer. Both times, you only get the confirmation box saying that the header was successfully saved and no confirmation for the footer. Then going on the front end you can see that the footer changes are not saved. I tried clearing the site cache and updating the newspaper theme to 11.4.2, neither of which helped.
Has anyone run across this issue and know how to fix it?
I saw all videos and documentation, but still I have errors with posts. https://dev.citymagazine.ge/ this is my webpage. on homepage I did perfectly but on posts page there is not coming mobile template
Hello,
Our site is now offed.
Can you help us to solve the problem?
We are using Newspaper theme and The site URL is Korearadio.org.
Previously it showed this kind of error message. The .htaccess was updating again and again. Due to this problem I could not login to my wordpress account.
Order allow, deny Deny from all Order allow, deny Allow from all RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^index.php$ – [L] RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule . index.php [L] on top of the specific pages that has the bulletin boards.
we asked it to the other programmer and he said that it was the board plugin and the subscription problem and seemed making the problem. Recently we added Mangboard to the site and login part was modified to use the mangboard user system. Now the site is entierly not working. We do not have appropriate person who can take care of this situation. Can you go over and fix the problem? We can pay for the work.
Please let us know if you can do it.
It was an error in this page (https://korearadio.org/realty-agent1) +++++++++++++++++++++

OK, makes sense – however, the Flex blocks do not work well with sub-category pages as you need to specify what category they pull from.
I am trying to build a single category template that also handles the category pages without having to build unique templates per sub category. Mi idea was to break them apart for content break ups, but giving the continued content roll.
Sounds like, best way would be a per sub-category page template?
Hi @Bettina,
I saw there’s a theme update (11.4.2). However, I went through the changelog and I don’t see any fixes for the issue I mentioned there.
Is the issue I mentioned with the single page template resetting fixed in this new release?
Please let me know.
If not, is there any update?
Hi stringbenderb5, I just notice something and I think that I know why the options are not looking like for us. You need to edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer and then access the manager, after that the options should be there. In you video I think that you edited directly the cloud header, and that option (for sticky header) is displayed only when you are on a page or cloud cloud template where the header is assigned.

Hi Bamsfoldigital, we are happy that you like our theme!
About the mobile version. That is looking like that because you have the mobile theme plugin enable. This will set a simple/standard layout for mobiles.
Our theme can use 3 options for mobile version:
1 – the responsive version
2 – the mobile page template
3 – the mobile theme plugin
To have the same layout, then you need to avoid the mobile theme plugin. Use the responsive version or the mobile page template (if you want to edit the mobile version to have a different look or content).
Also, here is a video tutorial that maybe can help you!
Thank you!
Hello,
1. When you create mobile pages with TagDiv Composer with Mobile Theme plugin installed, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
2. and 3. Please provide more details, like screenshots. If you create mobile templates/mobile pages you need to convert the existent header/footer like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
4. For the category template, if you have set a posts loop then will display all posts in this category or you can use Flex Block 1 and set the filter to “Category -Current category” => https://i.imgur.com/7P99qx0.png
Thank you!
