Hi there, we installed the mobile theme on our website (http://alefbaco.com). But it seems to have a problem. it automatically opens menu navigation on start and you have to scroll right to see the main content.
I am looking to remove the first comment count which always shows as 0 comments due to be having the Facebook comments plugin installed.
When I try to install the theme, I add the zip file hit install then error message appears WordPress Failure Notice. Fresh install of wordpress
Dear Sir,

Hi,
You could install the Speed Booster plugin provided with the theme. More information here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
The Speed booster plugin will move all the stylesheets and javascripts to the bottom of the page.
Thanks
Hi,
There seem to be some errors present on your website – https://www.screencast.com/t/mdBYYNa09B
To try and identify what is causing this issue first deactivate all your plugins except the ones provided with the theme, clear any caching installed and check to see if the problem remains. Also try to switch from the child theme to the main theme to rule this out as well. Usually problematic plugins or modifications made to the theme files are to blame in such cases.
Thanks
Hi,
You can download the latest full theme package from themeforest and install the plugins from there
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
These plugins are bundled with the theme package, and also updates for them are provided along with the theme updates – https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
Thanks
when i try to install the theme to wordpress it says:
“”The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.””
I’ve just installed the ‘Local News’ demo theme. I would like to swap the Social Counter plugin with my Ninja Form widget as I would like to have a registration form on that position. Is this possible?
Hello Knockfoto,
Check our demo here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-aston-villa-beat-liverpool-to-join-arsenal-in-the-fa-cup-final/ and the style for tag div Slider should look like in same way on mobile devices -> https://www.screencast.com/t/nC3objV0u2Xb I suggest you make a full backup to your database, and then you should install the theme via FTP only with bundled plugins and check the results. The TagDiv Gallery is fully tested and compatible with the theme and should work as expected, as you can see in our demo preview.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello TomasCabezuelo,
First of all, to be safe, you should make a full backup to your database and then you simply install your theme via FTP, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Use this method because this is the surest one in this regard.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
I have inspected the website on mobile. Everything is working properly for me, there is no problem what so ever seeing the image boxes containing the 8 categories or the media grid inside each of them on mobile
– https://www.screencast.com/t/PTJhIwxWl
Maybe this is an intermittent issue, caused by a problematic plugin that you might have installed. But it seems to be displaying just fine at the moment.
Thanks
Hello misolek,
You should make a full backup after deleting your website and then you can re-install the according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Notice that all of your created data will be loaded into your database and then after your theme installing, all of these will be re-loaded into your fresh install.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
You just need to enter your Instagram Id in the required field
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TFqoQOxoQtGx
And it should display properly – https://www.screencast.com/t/CW4sXFWiI1
Try clearing any caching installed after configuring the widget. Also make sure your Instagram account is not set on private.
Thanks
Hey guys,
In the wordpress dashboard -> “Newspaper” -> “plugins”, you should be allowed to download both visual composer and tagDiv social counter, but both the “install” buttons lead to a 403 error.
Is there any alternative way for me to download both plugins?
I need Visual composer to get things running asap.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi,
I see that the favicon is this – https://www.screencast.com/t/fdy7PCoR but it is not displayed while on mobile, or even when looking at the page source – https://www.screencast.com/t/fyv82A5y
Try clearing any caching installed, and purge the CDN files, to refresh the data.
Thanks
Hi,
You can easily build the website using the features of Visual composer editor. The basic page building elements are Blocks and Big Grids. You can see how each of them looks here
Blocks – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-1/
Big Grids – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-1/
More information about the Visual composer editor here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
There are also many post templates that you can choose from as well as category page customization. In the live demo you can see most of the features that the theme provides, under the Features menu
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
All the documentation for the theme options and settings is found here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/
There would be no coding skills required to build the website. Also there are a multitude of demo styles that you can install and use or inspect live
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/demos_introduction/
Thanks
Hi,
Please make sure you are using the social counter plugin from the latest theme package. Configure the counter using this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/ follow the steps mentioned and enter the data that is required.
After successfully setting it up, please clear any caching installed. Also make sure your Facebook page is not private, it has to be public in order for the counter to work. It is worth mentioning that there could be some delay for the data to synchronize.
If you have tried these suggestions with no result, please provide a link to your website so we can inspect it.
Thanks
Hello GideonLupine,
I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and check the results. Also, check your Block Settings and setup it according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thanks for your understanding!
This is what my install looks like, notice codes exposed & not getting the 4 blocks at top as in demo
This is what your demo shows.. I’m not getting the 4 blocks at the top & such
