If you are afraid you might accidentally uninstall the demo, an alternative would be to use one of the default predefined homepage templates – https://www.screencast.com/t/zQ4pByWqsP – and take it from there, or you could just create your own pages using Visual composer elements the way you want. I believe that only an administrator role has access to making any theme changes, and there is also a prompt asking if you want to uninstall the demo – https://www.screencast.com/t/BqIypPWO9M so it is not a one click mistake.

Then make sure you install PHP version 7.0
The theme is now compatible with php 7.0
Do not install 7.1 as it is not yet compatible.

Please keep in mind that I have made some tests with your image on my side and I did not saw any difference between the quality of the featured image and the regular image, sorry! Please notice that our theme only cut the image and this behavior does not affect and do not break the quality of the image and that’s why it should appear on the same quality. I suppose that you are using some plugin for optimizing your images and from this case, the quality might have to be different. Please try to disable all untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to be active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ Also, please ensure that you are using only the plugins version which comes bundled with the theme, clear all your caches, purge CDEN files, clear all the cache from your server and check the results.

Every time, you have to use only the bundled version of Visual Composer because this is tested with the theme and should work as properly. If you are using another version of VC, notice that it could not work properly with the theme. Notice that the pages have to be editable with this version of Visual Composer. Try to make a new FTP install for your Visual Composer, clear all your caches and check the results.

Please try to revert the theme to the default state, remove all your additional customization if you have, clear all your caches and check the results. Please keep in mind that the smart list feature work as properly and the Caption is well aligned as you can see in the above example. If the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

I have checked your console and I notice that you have some js errors which can come from your untested plugins. I checked your source page and I saw that you do not disable all of them. Please try to revert the theme to the default state, without any untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all your caches and check the results. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new fresh install via FTP way, clear all your caches and check the results.
