I’ve just upgraded to version 7 and my site has severe problems and looks a complete mess.
For some reason the expanded mobile menu shows above every page in chrome.
The logo alt text shows on each page, the search icon is duplicated in the header.
The VC doesn’t work despite reinstalling it using your Plugins option,
the divtag social counter doesn’t display on any browser.
What is going on?! Please help!

Please make sure you have the latest version of the social counter installed. Please update your theme to the latest version (newspaper 7) by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and then also update the plugins : visual composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and use the same method to install the new version of social counter.
The social counter is not a live count and is affected by cache so please either clear your cache after you set it up or wait a bit for it to update. In @snledo’s case, it now works: http://screencast.com/t/J06krX6WhUsa

I suspect being a conflicting plugin which causes an error with your saving. Also, until now we have any bad reports with the Wordfence plugin which create some kind of issue in our theme with the latest version of WordPress. I recommend to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please ensure that you do not have any additional customizations that affects your main menu. Also, please make sure that this issue does not come from your untested plugins. Try to disable all the untested plugins, clear cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. If you problem is still there after these changes, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect it closer your main menu and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Please make sure you update your theme to the latest version and also update your social counter plugin. Disable and delete the one currently active and install it again from the new theme version from the panel’s plugin section.

I followed the instructions but still the gallery is not working as it is supposed to.
Now I did update the theme, visual composer and rev slider but still nothing.
Other issue is that after updating/reinstalling the visual composer and rev slider, I can’t activate them because I don’t have purchase code. There should be another update of rev slider but I can’t update because I don’t have purchase code.

We’d really want to have the gallery fixed because we do have campaign right now for our canada categories.

I am sure this has been on here before but I am having problems installing demo content. My site is http://www.rebel-student.com. I can install the settings but I would like to install the content and when I try that it is coming up with an ajax error.

I’ve been able to amend the text logo tagline (under header, logo & favicon) previously but today it won’t let me make changes.
(I have selected style 10). Tried deactivating plugins but this did not help.

I just installed the newspaper theme at http://atpatras.com and I have 2 problem
1) some of the images are not appeared.
And 2) some links goes to pages with the radio player I have installed before the theme.
I love this theme and I want to fix theese problems.
I don’t want you to test every plugin functionality. I could figure out that the website – WordPress default Php mailer function is not working. I understood this after I installed two other email newsletter plugins. I have another domain which runs on a different theme and same hosting and works well with the plugins. The PROBLEM is with the theme. Not with plugin, not with hosting. You should solve it. I cannot hire a freelancer for a bug on your theme.

I have newspaper theme installed and I tried sending email through Mail poet plugin, it says ‘Couldn’t instantiate mail function”. I tried the same with another premium plugin – Mymail and I got the same error with this plugin too. This plugin was a premium plugin so I contacted support and they advised me to contact theme support because it is due to theme files error.
I have another wordpress website which runs on different theme and the email function (Mailpoet, mymail works fine on them . Please help.

Normally the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed: http://screencast.com/t/NqzloVgyUJB. In your case, you should buy another license for each domain which you are using.

Unfortunately our theme does not support RTL. It has no such setting, so it means it will have to be made custom. We cannot provide a solution for it as it at the moment. Sorry.
As for the demo install, please try it out a couple of times as the demos are grabbed from the server and sometimes servers get overwhelmed. It can also be a hosting issue on your end. There are lots of things that affect the demo install. Please follow this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/installing-demo-problem/ and if you cannot get it to work, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can take a look.

I have everything green on the backend. EXCEPT THIS
max_input_vars 1000 – the max_input_vars should be bigger than 2000, otherwise it can cause incomplete saves in the menu panel in WordPress. To see how you can change this please check our guide here.

i try to install the demo defualt content to everything driven . com and in firefox i get an error, but in chrome it just freezes while trying to install the demo content. Can someone help please, thank you.

Thanks for your guide. I did, a to z, what you said. Then I’d come across to the result that I want. Perhaps wordfence plugin was creating the issue. It has wasted my 3 days. Anyway wordfence is good plugin regarding web security. So, how we can trust that plugins we are installing are compatible with newspaper.
Because inspection takes too much time. There should be an appropriate way to determine the plugins compatibility with newspaper. I’m using w3 total cache but in documentation you’ve recommended wp super cache, which we should use for newspaper?
